Absolutely will never go there again!!!! One of the responsibilities they have is to provide te patients with accurate dating of their syringes!! They scheduled me a date to finish the rest of my syringe on the day after it expires then call me the day it expires and tell me that they cant get me in and they wont refund me any amount of money!!!! The customer service clerk yelled at me and the office manager was absolutely no help saying that I was well aware that my syringe was expiring and when I told her that the lady I scheduled the appointment with told me that it expired on a certain date and the receptionist should have never put me down on a day knowing that my syringe was going to be expired!!! The office manager named Kim then decided it was professional to hang up on me . DO NOT GO HERE

When I walk into a fancy facility I'm always concerned because that usually means really high fees. And their facility is really nice. Even though I was worried I might have to pay a few extra dollars for a visit, I decided to give them a chance because, hey my nose has never worked! During my appointment I spoke with a nurse practitioner for less than ten minutes to explain my issues and she wrote some notes. Then they gave me the full court press to schedule a surgery as soon as possible, which I resisted until I could figure out the total cost. So... fast forward and I recieve a bill for my in and out visit. Total charge? $400.00....that's like $40.00 a minute for notes and a 'diagnosis.' Furthermore, they stated I'd have to return for another appointment to speak to one of their doctors to review the diagnosis. How much would that have cost? Anchorage has the highest priced medical system in the nation and this place feels like the tip of the spear. I can't imagine what they'd charge for a surgery! I'm paying the bill because apparently I needed another life lesson, but don't make my mistake...be sure to ask specific questions about their fees.

So i was hesitant after reading some lesser reviews, but they came highly recommended by a friend, decided to try them out and they where amazing. from front desk staff to the lady working with my son. it was an extremely positive, fun and relaxing visit. my son who is very shy of people was very comfortable there and was even asking to go back to play the hearing 'games' with the nice lady again. i had a great experience and will choose them again for sure.

I had a great experience with Dr. Lorenz. Very positive guy. Never once fail to provide excellent customer service and giving detail information on surgery and follow up. I would 100% recommend everyone to have their operation handled by Mark Lorenz. Thank you for everything you've done to ensure I can hear again. Looking forward to our next meeting.

I called my insurance provider to see if I needed a referral to see an ENT doctor. I was told that my policy coverage didn't require a referral to see a specialist. I called Acent and tried to schedual an appointment but was told I would need a referral. I explained to them that my policy clearly states that I do not need a referral to see a specialist, and they rudely replied that it has nothing to do with insurance policy, and that it is their personal policy. So basically you make your own rules, cool story. I've been dealing with sever sinus infections, and not being able to breath out of my left nostril for over 7 months now. I was unable to see a specialist due to it being so expensive and not having very good insurance. I finally had my wife put me on her insurance (which is a lot better than mine) so I could get this taken care of. I called and scheduled an appointment with Alyeska ENT without a referral and they were very nice and understanding of my issues.

ACENT is the best! Coming from a long line of hearing impaired people, Dr. Lorenz was extremely thorough and caught my little guys enlarged adenoids right away. He also was kind enough to send a referral over to genetics so the family can get a better look at our hearing loss.

These scumbags are heartless. Ive been dealing with troat issues for months and trying to get a diagnosis. I was refered here by my gastrointestinal doctor and acent REFUSED to see me...i have medicade and medicare btw. I called to ask why and they REFUSE to tell me why they refuse to see me. The lady on the phone was so rude and told me they dont have to give me a reason for REFUSING to see me. I hope people who read this review understand the amount of pain and discomfort ive been dealing with just for the hospital ive almost died in to refuse service. Born and raised in alaska been living here for 30 years, and cant get any help. To the lady who i talked to, i hope you, your kids, your sad sorry husband...everybody you know and love need help one day, and they are refused without a reason. I hope they suffer for months while doctors tell em they wont help and refuse to tel them why. Maybe then youll know what it means to get angry and upset at people who are there to help BUT WONT. You people make me sick, and you deserve to suffer...

After suffering from chronic sinus infections for the last decade, I underwent a sinus procedure with Dr. Schaffer in June 2016 and have not had a single cold or infection since my surgery. Their entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to accommodate a payment schedule. I highly recommend this office for your sinus needs.

The office is clean and welcoming. The doctors and nurses seem a little rushed but competent. My complaint is with billing and staff that takes paymemts. Upon my first visit I was surprised how impatient the receptionist seemed. She kept insisting I should know my own plan and when I told her my co payment amount she wanted me to pay a different amount. Whether it be reluctance to deal with my insurance company or to deal with me I don't know. I was polite. There just seemed like no room for questions. I experienced this treatment two more times as I spoke with billing about my upcoming surgery and again when I called to ask about the overage charges that my insurance didn't cover. I am aware of my EOBs but sometimes I have questions about paying hundreds of dollars for something. I feel it appropriate to ask about these things. Not once had I not payed or payed late so there's no reason in my mind to treat a patient/customer with such annoyance. Because of my continuous negative experiences with the billing department I must conclude they are trained to deal with patients in this manor. For these reasons I chose not to go ahead with my surgery at this facility. I couldn't imagine being sick and vulnerable and having to deal with that. It's just too bad.

They did at least diagnose me correctly with Singles, after Providence got it wrong. However they put me on dangerous opioids for the pain. Opioids do not work on nerve pain I learned after a very painful 30 days from Sam's Club pharmacist. He correctly suggested non addictive Gabapentin. It worked great. You can learn more from the internet than the doctors at this place. They don't know what they are doing.

They've been amazing to my family! My husband needed a septalplasty very badly because because of a deviated septum. He'd get sinus infections every month for years! Then at his first appointment, they decided on surgery, turned it in to a pre op, and three days later, he was having surgery. He hasn't had one since! And they did mine and my sons tonsillectomy and my daughter will be going in next week to get her set up for hers. These people are always so kind and helpful. I'd recommend them to everyone! (PS, I have no experience on the ear side of it so I'm not sure how they are over there.)

The billing department is horrible, we had our children go there to have tubes put in their ears and the insurance check got stolen. The billing lady Linda would call us and harass us like we took the check. When they were told it was fraud she finally believed us that we didnt receive the check. Then when they make appointments sometimes the times would be different from what they tell you and it happened many times and they wouldnt help make the situation right and told me there no guarantee that my son would be seen at 10 instead of 11... I told them Im not going back there, the doctors are amazing it sucks they have rude employees..

Dr. Kallman is a talented surgeon with a great bedside manner. I have struggled with my sinus issues for decades, been to see several doctors and have even had a previous surgery all to no avail. Dr. Kallman diagnosed my situation and the surgery he prescribed along with the maintenance medication has greatly improved my quality of life. I can breathe through my nose again! I sleep better, snore far less, and wake without the puffy eyes and dark circles. I no longer miss work due to sinus headaches and infections. I cannot thank Dr. Kallman and his friendly and helpful staff enough.

Me and my wife had a miss communication on when our daughter's appointment was and I ended up being 7mins late and instead of going ahead and seeing us (after me explaning what happen and how it is difficult for us to have weekdays off and how I was on my lunch break to do this appointment) they shooed us away and said the only next appointment is a month away so I explained that my daughters hearing is getting worse she's loosing her hearing more and more and all they could say was 'sorry your taking up other patients time'. I know it was my fault for being 7mins late but I was already there and had to go through hell just to make/get that appointment I would expect being a dr and getting paid so much money they would understand but instead we get shooed away for a month. Very disappointed!
