I chose Dr. Mabourakh for mult reasons: His accreditation, 20+yrs experience, reviews, drainless TT, and his thoroughness during the consult. And I couldn't be happier with the results. I had my breast augmentation a week ago . I am so happy with my results! The doctor did a fantastic job. Its only been one week and they already look so good! I cant wait to see my final results in the upcoming months. I Originally had my consultation last year but because I was busy I was not able to schedule my BA until this year and from the beginning the doctor and his staff treated me so good. The girls are very friendly and informative. They respond back to my emails almost immediately every time i have had questions . The doctor made me feel very comfortable and confident in picking the right size implant for my body type by explaining pros and cons of different cc sizes, I also want to give five stars to my anesthesiologist Dr Row, who was amazing! She knew she was going to put a big needle in my arm for IV so she numbed the area so i couldn't feel a thing. Just the smallest gestures meant a lot to me as a patient. I highly recommend Dr Shahriar! He will be my go to person for any procedure in the future!

If I could give this Dr. a negative star, I would!!!!! I had rhinoplasty done by him and my nose looks worse than it did before the surgery... I have two huge scars on the sides of my nose, have breathing problems and a deveated septum due to that surgery!!! Don't risk your health and your look!!!

Initially I was very pleased with my results. After 3 mo point and definitely the 6 mo point, the results drastically changed. I brought this to the attention of the doctor of course as they were dropping further and further, multiple times going in for visits to share my concerns. He in my final visit indicated that he advised me of this in his statement that my breast would settle into a more 'natural position'. The height of them currently is that of which they were prior to surgery. I have gel and the bags can be felt which is why I avoided going with saline. I truly wish that in a more 'natural position' had been said as it truly is such as they will drop into the original position of your breasts but be fuller because of the implants. Not to mention sharing that both types of bags have a high potential of being felt post surgery. Providing realistic expectations is very important in any medical profession, especially in one such as this. I have accepted that another surgery is inevitable. Of course there is the upkeep of these surgeries, mine of course will have to be much sooner than later due to the results. I will be seeing a different doctor to do so.

I made an appointment for a breast augmentation consult with Dr. Mabourakh at Folsom Plastic Surgery in February. I was able to get in for a consultation and the office procedures were thoroughly explained to me when I made the appointment. I was considering a breast augmentation to increase the size of my breasts after losing tissue due to weight loss and I am a first-time plastic surgery patient. I had my surgery scheduled for early March.The staff at Folsom Plastic Surgery are friendly, attentive, and kind; it feels like you are surrounded by your sisters or your girlfriends everybody is so supportive and encouraging. They are very responsive to phone calls and concerns both pre-op and post-op. They go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of; I even received a phone call when I arrived home following surgery; the staff wanted to make sure I was doing well and reminded me of important post-op instructions. Thourough! Dr. Mabourakh makes each visit comfortable and he takes the time to address all concerns. He listens and cares about your questions; he is also patient and kind when explaining procedures. The outcome was remarkable: the results are exactly what I wanted for my breasts. I was a first-time patient and I would highly recommend Dr. Mabourakh and his office to anybody considering plastic surgery. Was referred to dr Mabourakh by a friend. There was something wrong with my implants(done from a diff dr 4yrs ago) and he quickly diagnosed my problem with Capsular contractor. He took his time explaining what had happened and the solution that may take care of it. I was scheduled within 2wks. The staff is really great there. Very personable and not trying to sell me for work done like the other place i went to previously. I was so grateful and confident with him. They took the ut most care of me and was seeing him every week for the first 3wks. He immediately noticed i needed to wear a bandage so the implant wouldn't raise. So glad he pays careful attention to his patients. For the first time in over 10yrs i finally can wear a bra without having to constantly adjusting my breasts. If i had to id definitely go back to him. I would refer anyone to go to Dr Mabourakh for any cosmetic needs. He really does educate his patients and make them feel comfortable.

Let me begin by saying that Dr. Mabourakh is AMAZING!! I was referred to him through a friend (who had a beautiful BA with Dr. M), and after consulting with 5-6 other surgeons I decided to see Dr. Mabourakh. When I arrived, I was greeted by his wonderful staff and had a brief wait I the reception area. Once I was taken back I was surprised at how much time Dr. Mabourakh spent answering my never ending questions and making sure I was thoroughly informed about my (possible) procedure. I admitted to him that the other surgeons I met with advised me to do a lift with implants, however Dr. M was confident that he could produce the results I was looking for WITHOUT the lift! Needless to say, I scheduled my surgery that afternoon! I live out of state and his patient coordinator Maggie was very accommodating as to schedule my pre-op appointment for the day before surgery. Fast forward 3 weeks to my BA surgery. I arrived at his Folsom location and was again greeted by his wonderful staff. They promptly took me in the back to begin the required tests needed. After a (moderate) wait in the lobby, I was admitted for surgery. Again, Dr. Mabourakh reassured me that everything would be okay and answered (yes) more questions. My surgery was smooth and had no complications. My post-op instructions were very clear and I was reminded that I could call ANY time with ANY concerns. When I woke up, of course I was sore, but was up walking my small dog later that evening. The following day I expected to see bruising and be in some serious pain but I experienced neither! I actually was able to go out for sushi with my mom 24 hours after surgery! A week later I had my post-op appointment and Dr. Mabourakh was very patient in explaining the steps I needed to take with my recovery to ensure the best results. Now, 3 weeks out I am loving the way my body looks! My swelling has subsided and although my new breasts will take some time to feel and take their final shape, what I see in the mirror couldn't make me happier. I went on a date with my husband last night and for the FIRST time, had the confidence to wear an extremely low cut, body hugging dress and let me tell you, people noticed my curves! ;o) . Dr. Mabourakh is definitely an artist and has given me a better outcome than I ever expected. He and his staff are extremely professional and kind and I will (and have) recommended them again and again.

When I decided to have breast augmentation surgery I did extensive research into potential surgeons including multiple in-person consultations, checking the Better Business Bureau and reading extensive reviews. I am so happy with my decision to go to Dr Mabourakh. The office staff were incredibly polite and very helpful, and the doctor was very straight forward, easy to work with and professional. During the consultation and appointments leading up to the surgery the doctor informed me of all of my options, offered recommendations and explained how the surgery would go as well as the recovery. The surgery its-self went very smoothly, and I couldnt be happier with the results. Went from a low B to a high C cup, silicone, under the muscle. Its been almost a year since my surgery and I am still beyond thrilled with the results. They look complexly real and the scars are practically nonexistent. Before I decided to go through with my augmentation with Dr. Mabourakh I went to another plastic surgeon in the Folsom area but things didn't quite click. I'm glad I waited until I met Dr. Mabourakh, he was honest, straightforward and got right down to the point. I told him what I wanted my final results to be, showed him pictures of the size, and let him recommend what he thought was best. I was able to get exactly what I wanted size-wise, the placement, and the method. It's 2 years later and I couldn't be happier with my results, I would recommend him and his staff to anyone considering any type of plastic surgery. Over all great experience, which is important when considering to do something to your body that is semi-permanent.

I had posted this review months ago, but somehow it was removed. I want people to really know how this place is:I'm hoping to save someone else from the experience I had at this office. I am definitely not happy with my results and was surprised at how Dr. Mabourahk didn't care. He seemed nice when I first met him, and I was confident in his abilities to give me results I really wanted. After surgery, when I was unhappy with how everything was looking, Dr. M. said he was confident that by 6 months I would love it. Well, 6 months later I am still unhappy and assymetrical. I told him I was still unhappy, and he didn't seem to care at all. He got his money so why should he, right? Throughout the process I never felt like he knew who I was or ever read my file before my appts. I just hope someone reads this who's on the fence about this practice and decides to go somewhere else to a surgeon who truly cares about his/her patients. You won't regret passing by this place!

Im giving a 5 Star because yesterday I have my BA with doctor Mobarakh . I will update my review in a few weeks but so far I couldnt be any more happier . From my nurse to my anesthesiologist to the doctor himself I felt confident and comfortable the whole time. I wasnt nervous when I walked in really but that had a lot to do with the way I was treated. The girls on the front are amazing. Taylor who kept calling me to make sure I was ok and handled all my paper work is amazing . Today is day two, obviously I have some discomfort which is normal but its not terrible or unbearable . I cant wait to go back Tuesday to remove my bandages and see the girls for the first time !!!! I highly recommend Dr Mobarakh !!!
