Dr. place and her team have been very professional from the first visit. I went in for a consultation(that my doctor referred me for)on having a breast reduction to help take some of the weight from my back and shoulders. I didnt feel I wanted or needed a reduction as I liked my bodies proportions as they were and wanted to keep them. Dr. Place was very calming and reassuring that all I needed was a mastopexy/breast lift and that I still had plenty of fullness in my breast. The surgery was pain free, everyone was extremely professional and reassuring. The whole process was comfortable. I spent the night nearby as I live in a remote part of CA and I didnt want to travel that far afterwards. Since the surgery, I am extremely happy with my results. My breasts are beautiful and less heavy. I feel much more confident with myself and Im shopping for cuter bras now instead of bulky support bras. The scars are minimal and are slowly fading, but are nothing compared to how I feel about myself now. It was well worth it. All of my follow ups have been great. Dr. Place stays on top of your recovery and the whole staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Im extremely happy that I chose Dr. Place and went through with the procedure. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

KEEP LOOKING!!!! After waiting the proverbial year to see the final results, one word sums it up: BOTCHED! Very sloppy work. Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed and just wanted to let others know to beware or you may end up worse off than you were before (like me). Good Luck.

Dr. Place is an extremely skilled surgeon. She's the surgeon I trust with family members as well. She does injectables herself which is a huge benefit. She listens to your needs and concerns and makes sure you get the best outcome. The office run by Esme, who's excellent. Esme is professional and very accommodating. She makes sure all patients have a good experience and I love how she schedules appointments respecting people's time. It's not a waiting room filled with people spending hours waiting to be seen. The nurses are all wonderful and make you feel comfortable. I especially like Katie, but everyone here is great. I highly recommend Dr. Place and her office for both surgery and all aesthetic needs. +++++

I had bilateral breast reduction surgery with Dr. Place and I literally could not be happier. Starting with her staff, they were extremely friendly, intelligent and helpful. They helped me navigate my insurance company and submission for authorization and my approval came from the insurance company in less than 4 weeks. I was thrilled. Her nurses were very helpful to me before surgery with pre-operative information and procedure, as well as after surgery when I had questions about the healing process. I'd never had surgery before so my constant questions and concerns were met every single time with professionalism, comfort, and assurance. I was able to email photos of the healing I was seeing and Dr. Place herself even responded to me after hours. Every time I was concerned, I was put at ease with Dr. Place's calm but confident demeanor. I can barely put into words how pleasant my experience was. The actual surgery met and surpassed my expectations. Everything went smoothly and the surgery center was fantastic. Again, the staff was amazing. Dr. Place really understood what I was going for as far as size and appearance. I felt like she really understood what I was saying and she was so calm and assuring throughout the whole process. My family and partner attended the surgery with me and everyone was beyond impressed with how everything was handled. I am now about 3 months post-op and I can't begin to describe what a change this has made in my life and how much I appreciate every effort that was made by Dr. Place and her staff. If you're looking for an outstanding surgeon and support system, I'd highly recommend Dr. Michelle Place.

Deciding to have facial plastic surgery and trusting a doctor who leads you to believe, they are qualified is a major vulnerable decision. Like the other disappointed reviewers (Yelp), I also waited a while to write this review. I was traumatized, enraged, embarrassed and felt unattractive! Just the opposite of what I should have felt post surgery! Dr. Place performed upper/lower eyelid surgery to address heavy upper lids and hollows and bags of my lower eyes. The day of surgery should have been a red flag! I was placed in what seemed and could be a patient consulting room. I was asked to sit in an examining chair and a local anesthesia was administered to the eye area. Dr. Place made incisions to the outer corner of my eyes to perform the lower eye surgery. I specifically had concerns regarding that archaic method which leaves scarring on the outer corners of the eyes. Post surgery, follow up, my eyes were worst off than pre-surgery! Though the upper lids were successful. My lower eyes area was protruding with heavy bags! Dr. Place chose to try to mislead me into thinking the results were temporary instead of being ethical. Needless to say, the results did not subside and I had scarring on the outer corners of my eyes resemblant of a fireplace poker being singed into my skin. Luckily, I found a plastic surgeon (not cosmetic as is Dr. Place) with the proper education, qualifications, and recognized board certifications/ memberships specializing in facial plastic surgery and the latest procedures (see my review on Yelp on surgeon found) to correct the BOTCHED job by Dr. Place. What prompted me to write this review was the need to warn others after seeing an infomercial/extended commercial by Dr. Place. That speaks volumes, soliciting for patients on daytime TV!
