The people who did hands on care for my husband were very kind. The receptionist lady on the other hand was not. In my opinion you should not be working a job that deals with people if you aren't going to be friendly. She asked me how I was related to my husband, I said I am his wife. Then she later called me his MOm. Which I thought was rude. . As we we're leaving a cleaning lady asked us what room we were in because I accidentally left my charger. When I didn't know what room we we're in because I didn't check when we walked in . I was more concerned about my husband, she said very rudely. WHAT ROOM WERE YOU IN? Lastly at checkout the same lady who checked us in asked for his insurance card. I said, I don't have it but I wrote down his policy number. She said. Do you have the card, again after I just said I didn't. I have been here before and it was great. I'm a friendly person myself and I never left a review before but I just felt like these two people were unnecessarily rude. Maybe they didn't realize they we're being rude. Maybe they were having a tough day but still I think if you work with the public you should be kind and professional.

GRAND LARCENY I live down the street from this place, brought my asthmatic daughter in for chest pain. They couldnt find anything wrong, they took an X-ray, couldnt find anything wrong with the X-ray. All they could say was maybe some inflammation of the lungs (Im assuming due to her being asthmatic)they proceeded with a nebulizer treatment (that I could have done at home) and they sent us off! 4 months later I receive a bill for a grand total of 6, 415.92! Mind you we just finished paying this amount for an actual 3 day hospital stay that included multiple blood transfusions on top of other cost! Somethings def not right here...

The people are nice, until you receive the large bill in the mail and they didn't even do anything! Would recommend looking elsewhere.*update 7/8/2020*I contacted UC Health per the owners response and they said they should be in touch after 2 to 3 business days aftera reviewed the billing. I've already received and paid 2 bills over $240 after what insurance covered and then I received a bill for $7,065 billed to the insurance and I owe $1,787. I was in the office for less than a 1/2 hour had a couple x-rays that came back negative thankfully and was told to go across the street to Walgreens and by and $18 brace. I remember joking with them as I was leaving sorry to waste your time and how nice everyone was and I have lived in Colorado Springs 5 years and need a primary care physician and should look into UC Health they're great! Then the last bill changed everything I realized I didn't want their time they were billing me $200 a minute and were sad to see me go. I'd be happy to change my rating if the bill is reasonable but we'll see how the review goes I'm not holding my breath.

Brought my son in with a 103 degree temperature. My son was in so much pain he was crying the whole time. They do not operate under a priority system. I believe it's first come first served. We got passed up by a nose bleed and a bowl obstruction. After 1 hour of waiting we left and went to Memorial. At memorial we were brought in first thing. Emergency Room? I think not. I won't even consider bringing my family or myself to this location ever again. It's worth it to go to Memorial instead.

They got me in fast and out fast! They also DIDN'T do anything for me. Are you serious to take my blood pressure tell me my heart rate is high... so $1353.00 all in less then 15 minutes and NO help... thanks for screwing me!Ok so after I left this message, they contacted me to discuss the bill... and after I told them the whole story all that they said was 'well we did our job and if I feel like I wasn't taking care of well that's just your opinion...' so let me get this straight you don't do anything and it's just my opinion that your screwing me. This place suck absolutely NO help what so ever! Even talk to there customer manager with no results! Totally useless and worthless!!!

Staff was very condescending, I could hear them talking loudly and making fun of my son (who is just a child - he could hear, also) at their nursing station, and they had no bedside manner, whatsoever. It was an awful experience and if I could rate 0 stars, I would.

Went in yesterday with my wife. She was very sick. The Dr was very rude and didn't want to talk to my wife until he did an Xray and found she had a partial collapsed lung then he was all excited about her being there.

The long black haired nurse was very rude to myself and my family. Extremely rough when drawing blood, usually don't bruise but left with a 3 to 4 inch bruise. Horrible bed side manners. I will never go back. Inappropriate comments made to myself and son.

Everytime i come here its a 3 to 4 hour long thing. I was there with my daughter who was severly sick and the didnt budge or even test her for anything but said to go home and rest. This place is a joke.

Came in needing stitches after a panel of glass landed on my hand and cut me open. The receptionist asked me more than two times if I was sure I wanted to continue with emergency care and that I may end up footing the bill if my medical insurance didn't classify this as an emergency. I assured her they would while nodding to my wrapped up hand where I was applying constant pressure and holding it up. She said it again and advised me that it wasn't considered an 'emergency'. I left and went to the VA to my primary care as a walk in (after waiting over an hour for the VA to open its doors since this injury happened at the crack of dawn). Unfortunately, by the time I was seen, it was too late to do stitches but they did stop the bleeding. I was there for an extended amount of time while they cleaned up the wound, gave me a tetanus (I was overdue), and asked what emergency room turned me away. Being 100% disabled veteran I was told, which I already knew, they definitely would have paid for the bill. Instead I spent the next few weeks in and out of the VA to have it cleaned regularly (doctor's orders), an MRI, and to monitor the healing process. This could have resulted in a much worse situation if the VA didn't step in which is a miracle in itself! I rather drive further away for an emergency than to be belittled by a receptionist giving me medical advice when I was a combat medic knowing this was an emergency situation.

I walked into a dirty bed, unprofessional staff, and received an incorrect diagnosis. I was pretty much rushed out of there with only a strep test, which they claimed to be negative, however I knew I was sick. Whoever the nurse was claimed I could not have the flu, therefore felt no need to test me. Went somewhere else the next day and I have strep and the flu! I wish I could give zero stars for such a horrendous facility. DONT GO HERE.

Thank You SO much to all the professionals at this emergency room for the wonderful care and help we received last night. From the young lady that checked us in to ambulance team, everyone was absolutely wonderful! Our medical team last night were Dr. Shaikh, Alex, Dawn, Jill, and Marcy! Each team member played a vital role in my husbands care. All were professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. We could not have found a better team! We are very grateful to you all!We stopped at the Colorado Springs KOA for the night when my husbands pain became more than he could take. We found this emergency room online and so blessed to have picked this place. They diagnosed his kidney stone and infection, relieved his pain, set him up with the local hospital and made sure I had directions since we are not locals. All with the professionalism we expect, a smile, and a genuine caring. You are all top notch! Thank you!

Great staff! They literally saved my life and I will forever be grateful! I had gone into anaphylactic shock after taking a new medication and my wife was driving, saw me slump over in the passenger seat. We were near the Emergency Room so she made a B-line to them. After helping me into the building, the staff quickly came out and got me to the back and was able to determine what was happening - gave me two shots and that is when I started recovering. The Doctor told my wife I was less than 5 minutes away from actually dying. All is the staff know their stuff and are AWESOME!!

Very expensive and most staff were unfriendly. New to the area and son had accident at school requiring stitches. The nurse mentioned this ER, and we didn't have experience with any other healthcare providers. The front desk staff were rude and staff that saw us to our room was unfriendly. The RN that did the stitches was great! Wish I could give her a separate 5 star review.We waited almost an hour to be seen, which is not uncommon for my ER experiences. We were probably there another hour or more for the 4 stitches he needed. The charge for the ER before insurance was $5,611.27, excluding the stitches and numbing medicine. There should be a sign or form given to you about the outrageous cost if you are going to be waiting around for almost an hour before being seen anyways. I regret not having researched urgent care providers in the area before this minor accident.

I would Not recommend this ER! I left there So unpleased! Dr. Elliot didnt have a Clue. He kept insisting one of the problems was something I Know it was Not. I had No symptoms whatsoever of what he kept insisting. And still kept asking questions pertaining to that problem and I kept telling him No, nothing like that! He put on my discharge papers that I went in for something I did Not! And put on the paper another issue that was different than what he told me!! They didnt do any blood work. It was clear that he was guessing and just gave me an antibiotic hoping itll clear up the problems. Im not from around here so Im sure he took that into account that hell likely never see me again. The nurse was new and was very cold. I just can not believe the way I was treated! He did not extinguish my concern whatsoever and I feel it was just a waste. I hope his guess was right. But it didnt even explain other symptoms. Regardless, I will get the prescription filled and see my doctor when I go home at the end of the month.UPDATE: Dr. Elliot tested me for several things. Of which I told him I knew it wasnt and the things he kept insisting it was, I tested NEGATIVE for!!! So the visit was a complete waste of time and money!!! I would give zero stars if I could!!!

Absolutely horrible. Dr was extremely rude and refused to do any testing on my daughter who has high fever and throat/head pain. Stated the strep tests werent usually accurate anyway and this is an emergency room and this didnt seem like an emergency . Dr also printed out a price list and said if we still wanted care after looking at it she would come back. Cant get into a regular dr as it is Saturday. Care here was pretty non existent.

The wife and I took our daughter in to have her seen cause she is screaming help me help me my ear. Well due to the roads in my area couldnt take her the hospital. But we sat in the waiting room my daughter screaming for help, we sat there while patients left for what it felt like hours. Still no one came to see her or take her back. We get it, it gets busy and everything but when people are leaving and a 2 year old is screaming help wouldn't you think someone would have came and helped? This place is horrible!!!

1 year old son had blue lips SHAKING and was throwing up right in front of them have breathing issues and it still took them 40 mins to see him and there was no one in there. They have no idea how to treat children or people UNBELIEVABLE some one please tell me a good place that takes good care of children in these parts.

The emergency room was great from check in to check out. Everyone was very professional and pleasant. My 7 year old daughter was never afraid. The nurse explained every step before he drew her blood and the Dr. communicated at her level of understanding. The only downside is paying $250 for the visit up front and not just your co-pay. I think your facility should let patients or the responsible party know what their financial obligation is before any services are rendered. Overall this facility is excellent and I would recommend it.

I do not recommend anyone go here! Had to take my mom for a cut on her head, and the nurse/doctor or whatever he was was terrible! He had a disgusting long beard which is not what you need to have in a hospital, and he would not shut up about it being his first day there, but he worked a memorial for many years. Well this guy was a joke!! I helped him do my mother stiches and cleaned up the bloody mess! She should not be billed for a visit that I did 80% of the work for and we were there almost 5 hours!! He even jokingly told me that I should get a job there!! Fk that, it's their job to do what I did!! And not to mention the floors and counters were dirty and dusty. And why in the truck should I have to ask over and over for her to get an x ray on her one we that was massively swollen and bruised and tender to the touch. I do not trust that they have her the care she needed at all! She will not go back there for a follow-up and we will never go back again. It would have been safer for me to have driven to her to emergicare off of circle!!! If you want to clear out her bill, she was there last week! And you can look her up!

I had an amazing experience at First Choice Emergency Room, especially considering that I was having to go to an emergency room...I was greeted with several smiling faces right from the start and admitted immediately. My doctor was calm and knowledgeable, answered all of my questions easily and thoroughly, and even joked with me. I actually had fun sitting on that very soft chair. I was sent home with clear instructions and not a doubt in my mind. I am so glad that First Choice is in such a convenient location for me and that I had a good experience there. Thank you!

In the 17 months we've lived here, we've used this facility for ER services a handful of times. Overall service is hit and miss. I'm not sure what happened tonight, but the outright disrespect by nurse Jackie and waste of 2 hours was extremely uncalled for. I arrived right behind 2 other parties, they were called back, in order, within 15 minutes of each other after we'd all been waiting for over 30 minutes. Then I sat for another hour, only to have someone that arrived 30 minutes after me called before me. I asked the front desk woman why I was skipped over and within 5 minutes nurse Jackie, an older woman, came out half apologizing but telling me I'd have to wait longer. I questioned why I had been skipped when everyone else was taken in the order of arrival and she informed me that if she'd been running triage, I'd have been last. I did inform her that bleeding without clotting for going on 6 hours was an actual emergency and she just became more indignant and rude, so I left as a result of her deliberate choice to not allow me to be seen and try to defend her inexcusable actions. This is by far the rudest staff member I've ever interacted with at this facility and I will never go back as a direct result of this terrible person.

I went there twice in a day a couple of weeks ago..my 5 yar old son was running high fever (103) the dr checked him and told me it was just a virus since he tested negative to the flu test...took him back later that night fever up at 103, he couldn't even sit up cause he was too dizzy,he started to develop a rash all over his chest and back dr check him and sent me home again saying its just a virus...the next morning i took him to a different ER cause his symposium were getting worse,go to find out he had scarlet fever this whole time...i don't know how they missed the massive blisters on the back of throat...i will NEVER use this place again...they clearly have no clue of what they are doing...

The worst experience Ive ever had at an emergency room. Not really interested in helping there patients. After a couple hours, to tell me I have a nasel infection, they just send me home. I ask for a doctors note to go back to work and they say no need. Who are they to determine what my job needs? I will never go back. I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody.

Timothy and his staff at UC Health Fountain did a amazing job and care for my husband. We went home happy face. Very compassion and caring Professional. This is the best facility in the area.

We'd just moved into the state 3 days prior to my daughter's visit to the ER. The staff was absolutely wonderful, compassionate, and completely understanding. They explained everything to not only me but to my 8 year old daughter. She felt so much better when we left and this Mom was at ease knowing my daughter would be okay. The next morning I got a follow up call just to see how she was feeling. Great facility, amazing staff! I recommend them to everyone.

I have never took the time to write a review before ever! I believe that in life that most people work for good purposes, but events of the past few days forces me to sit down and share my son's story. We took my 4 year old son in for a object he stuck up his nose. We were in for 1/2 hour. During that time the medical staff did not take the time or due diligence to ensure the object in his nose was out. Low and behold 2 days later we needed to take him in again at another clinic where the medical staff took out a button battery out of his nose! We have now had one surgery and more to come. We were trusting of the medical staff at this location but that was foolish of us. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Go somewhere else. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Very poor medical care.

Horrible place. Doesnt matter what time you go there youll be waiting in the waiting room for 2 hours while everyone stands at the desk and jokes around and go on lunch. Ive been here 4 times and each time Ive sat there for more than 3 hours and only had about 10 mins of actual interaction time with someone at the staff. Ive had to physically get up and remind the ER staff that I was still in the room waiting. Horrible place Im sure they get paid based on how long you sit there from insurance so they make you wait for hours. Go somewhere else dont waste your time.

After waiting for almost 3 hours we found Dr. Moore to be very unprofessional. He became very irritated and made us feel very uncomfortable. I have been at this location several times all without incident. The rest of the staff have always been pleasant. He said there wasn't anything to treat, so total waste of an eve. After reading the reviews you can see that I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience here. Makes you wonder if they care what kind of service they are providing?

I really like this place. The doctors and nurses were really nice. I wasnt there for hours waiting. Very clean. I felt soooo horrible and the medications the gave me for Bronchitis really helped a lot I finally got some sleep last night and I finally have breaks from coughing. Thank you guys for being so good

This was my first visit to this location. It was so nice to be able to have this location so close to my home instead of going into Colorado Springs. Upon entering it was very clean and everyone was very nice. It was great that there was not a long waiting time. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable!! Glad we have this service in Fountain.

By far the fastest and most comprehensive ER experience I have ever had. I got a super nasty migraine early in the morning. I tried all my tried and true remedies (including medication) and nothing was changing, so off to the ER. I was in and out of there in 45 minutes and the staff was fantastic.
