I consulted w/this doctor for surgery on my eye four years ago. I ended up using another Dr for the surgery. It was just a consultation and I didnt consent to future email marketing from this business. Over the past four years Ive contacted them numerous times in addition to using the unsubscribe feature at the bottom of their emails for male hair restoration. Yes, an ophthalmologist surgeon markets male hair replacement to a woman. The Dr. took a call from his landscaper and had a whole conversation with them during my appointment. Very unprofessional. His staff was bossy and unfriendly. I just want to break free of this Dr. But he wont stop contacting me.I hope this office doesnt approach patient care like they do unsubscribe requests. Ive been trying to get unsubscribed for four years. This isnt a recent issue that popped up during Covid. Ive been asking for four years. And who knows what their third party has done with my personal info. Again, I never consented to my info being shared. Nor, did I consent to marketing.

Upper & lower bleph. Immediately after surgery could see something was tied off wrong on right eye--huge poochy swollen part. I tried multiple times to address it with the doctor. He pretended he could not see it. I have pictures showing how it has since healed...and now when I drop my jaw...that weird scar pulls down across my orbit. I would like my money back so I can get it repaired. It is so ugly. Don't tell me it's all in my head. Please refund me so I can fix your mistake.

For a long while I had eyes that would close when I smiled. My Primary care doctor suggested Ptosis repair to correct this. I went to Dr McCracken and he and all his staff were just great! Someone asked me if it would hurt and I told them I had reverse shoulder replacement earlier that year so I thought this was a piece of cake compared to that. I found the process fairly easy with not much pain at all. I am very happy with the results.

Recently I had MOHS surgery for melanoma which left a gaping hole near my lower left eyelid. Initially, I had successful plastic surgery to repair this hole but as expected left my lower left eyelid out of position.I was referred to Dr. McCracken which was the very best thing that could have happened. At my initial visit Dr. McCracken explained in detail the different options available and most importantly he allayed any concerns I had. After this initial visit I knew a 2nd opinion was not necessary as I just knew I was in the hands of a skilled surgeon with obvious extensive experience in his field.Subsequently, Dr. McCracken performed lower eyelid surgery which involved skin graft and sutures into my nose bone. The results were outstanding and I have within a short period recovered normal eyelid/facial appearance. For anyone dealing with eye/facial issues I highly recommend you first contact Dr. McCracken, you will not regret it. Dr. McCracken did a great job of repairing my lower eyelid after Mohes surgery. The only issue I had was the post operation instructions. The patch needed to say in place for a week, but there were no instruction on how to deal with goopy, gummy surgical tape that became totally unservicable after 2 days. We had to figure out a solution on our own. In addition, as a Glaucoma patient, there were no instructions on how to get required pressure drops into an eye that was sewn shut. I needed to call my Glaucoma Specialist to get a supply of oral medication. Instructions on these issues would be very helpful.The staff is professional and helpful and the final results of the procedure were great!

Prior to scheduling an appointment with Dr. McCracken, I visited with two of Denver's reportedly best cosmetic surgeons. Neither impressed me and both quoted unrealistically overpriced costs for a fairly simple procedure. What struck me immediately was the time and attention Dr. McCracken extended to assess and discuss the best option at an affordable price. His assessment was far more thorough than I had previously received and the price he quoted was very reasonable by comparison. Equally important, Dr. McCracken insisted on taking a cautious and conservative approach to the procedure to avoid the risk of causing permanent scaring so close to the eyes. He did so knowing that, in my case, there was a strong likelihood he would have to perform a touch up procedure at very minimal cost. That uncompromising care by itself reflects the man's integrity. The work Dr. McCracken performed on me was excellent and exceeded my best expectations. In September I had an accident which vertically split my upper right eyelid. Dr. McCracken's office made room to see me on an emergency basis and scheduled me for surgery a few days later. The entire staff involved in the surgery was great and I received follow up calls to check on my status. Dr. McCracken was willing to work with my 'uninsured status', meaning that my office visit was substantially less than others eye specialists I had been referred to. But that is the least of the reasons I am recommending him and his staff. He was attentive, informative, and patient in answering the questions I had. He explained exactly what was likely occurring, what the least restrictive means of treatment would entail, and what my available options were. His staff in the meantime researched lab fee's, and the actual cost's involved in treatment. They were friendly, professional and supportive. He ended up performing a minor surgical procedure in his office. He was incredibly gentle and precise and other than the initial injection I felt no pain. It was completely healed within a week and I've had no issues since. He called me with my lab results, and inquired about my previous symptoms and healing process. I had not expected to actually get a call from him but from someone in his office. He obviously has a real interest in his patients and their health and well being. You have to be careful with this doctor. He was nice until we addressed our concern of my son's eyelids surgeries. It was a more likely question we had. But he totally into denial. He didn't even look at him closely and said 'I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!' First I thought that he didnt understand our question, so I even drew a picture of eyelids, showing one stitch came off. He didnt even touch my drawing. He was upset and didn't even want to check my son's eyelids closely. Then he used eye drops on my son, without explaining what the eye drops for. (This is the one which sting a little bit) My son was scared, saying 'it hurts, it hurts!' He gave the tissue without saying anything, TAKING HIS ANGER OUT ON MY SON. I couldn't understand why he couldn't get a closer look at my sons eyelids, and told us 'One stitch is not a big problem. Don't worry he will heal fine.' instead repeatedly saying 'I don't know what you are talking about'. The end while my husband was talking to him, HE LEFT THE ROOM without greeting. He didnt even say bye to my son WHO WAS HIS PATIENT. First my son, my husband and I didn't know that the meeting was over.I couldn't believe that he can be a doctor. To us, he was a teenage boy who couldn't deal with the people who has a question about his work. He is not a professional plastic surgeon. He should take some classes how to control his emotions. No matter how good your skills are (BTW his skills are not that great), there are still patients who want to address many questions, concerns and issues after surgeries, especially the eyes. An office manager came in, and talked to us. At this point, we were recording everything she said, in case we need to go to Board of Plastic Surgery. We should have recorded how he was reacting to a patient who was ten years old and his parents.

I went to Dr. McCracken to see what he could do about my drooping eyelids. My eyes were so droopy my peripheral vision was impacted and I looked sleepy most of the time. One of my eyelids had been more droopy since I was a child and now that I was older, it became difficult to see out of. Dr. McCracken performed eyelid surgery and even brought up one of my eyebrows to make my face look more symmetrical. The recovery time was short and I was able to resume normal activities within a couple of weeks. Now when I see people I know, they tell me I look good and say I look a little different. I was a little reluctant to have the surgery on my upper and lower eye lids. Dr. McCracken and his staff were extremely helpful and answered all my questions forthrightly. I was convinced, and found that they had a great system of evaluation and preparation of insurance claims, etc. But that was just the beginning! I was amazed at the importance of the individual actually preforming the surgery. As a former fighter pilot and airline pilot, I had assumed that there was a set series of steps and that there wasn't much room for individual expertise. Kind of like tuning a car, or loading a flight plan into an aircraft navigation system. I was wrong! There is a lot of art in this business, and the importance of choosing the right guy can't be overemphasized. Dr. McCracken is that guy!
