Spent 1 year getting multiple halo treatments & BBLs & lots of money to get rid of my melasma with zero results. Actually, it made it worse. Was then told that it was a hormonal issue & there was nothing they could to to help me anymore. I was devastated & confused as to why I was told a year ago that my problem was curable & they could help me to just tossing my problem away. I felt like because I couldnt give them the before & after pictures they wanted they didnt want to waste their time anymore helping me. Dr Brown is God sent! My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2016. Since then she had undergone eight surgeries including bilateral mastectomy with implants for reconstruction. She had been living in extreme pain and the only relief was found lying motionless on her back bedridden. Then we did the research and found Dr. Ben Brown and scheduled an appointment. Since day one of meeting him as well as his staff the entire nightmare of the cancer diagnosis has turned a one eighty. He performed the diep flap reconstruction surgery in early January 2019 and by May shes basically pain free. She looks phenomenal and feels good about herself again. Dr. Brown and his staff have been sincerely concerned about her quality of life since we first walked into their office. They truly are God sent and I cannot express enough gratitude towards them. Through this journey we had given up on finding a caring and professional medical staff that had my wifes objective of regaining her life back in their focus, but the Good Lord definitely orchestrated this meeting. I want to start off by saying its been a long road. At age 18 I was 400lbs, by 21 I was an addict and I lived the rest of my life with no direction and zero success. I turn 29 this year and I can truly say this staff and faculty is by far the most professional caring and knowledgeable organization on the gulf coast. Which I can truly vouch for considering my fiance had a breast augmentation at another facility. Holly whose name Ill always remember because its my mothers name, kept in contact with me for over 3 mo fighting for me so I could get the right treatment. Dr. Brown, Ed, Holly, and the entire staff make you feel so comfortable. They are more than willing to answer any questions you have and make the experience the best it can be! Im not even two weeks post op and my breast already look amazing! Dr. Brown gave me the exact look I was going for. He even injects you with numbing agents that helped tremendously! No tubes were required either! I was told by many nurses at Sacred Heart Hospital that I picked the best plastic surgeon and I couldnt agree more! Dr. Brown is beyond talented and has an amazing bedside manner! If you are wanting any type of major or minimal cosmetic procedure please look no further!! You will not be disappointed!

Dr. Chandler herself was great and Ive read great reviews on Dr. Brown as well. However this review is more for the staff than the Drs as they are the gate keepers & we havent actually spoken to Dr. Chandler since the consult. I am the Assist office manager for a private Optometry practice & I can tell you 100% that the staff will make or break a practice.On 6/11/19 my daughter went in for a consult for breast reduction. It took until 8/13 before the pre-cert. was submitted to Cigna. We received a denial on 8/22. Immediately we contacted Cigna and asked what we could do. They recommend a peer to peer review so that we could get surgery approved. Said it takes maybe 15 min once its scheduled & a decision is made one way or another by end of the call.However on 8/23 when I called the office I was told that the Dr was on vacation and to wait 2 weeks and call back. To which I did, even giving a few extra days for Dr to catch up. I was told to leave a message at the time for the person that scheduled those wasnt available . After a week of no call to me or Cigna i asked my insurance to step in.Cigna has contacted the office a total of 7 times (leaving messages each time) before this person would speak to them on the phone. Only to be told that Dr. Chandler wasnt willing to do the peer to peer review because she didnt have anything else to submit. Which is completely opposite to what she told my daughter at the consult.Had the office spoke to the patient recently or at any point since 6/11 they would know her shoulder pain has increased (already had 3 shoulder surgeries at 23 yo) and now has consult with a orthopedic again. THATS SOMETHING NEW to document. So idk where the blame lies. The office staff or the Dr. If the Dr. truly wasnt willing to do the peer to peer review why not call the patient & say that 2 months ago? Im sure their office is irritated with us. And thats ok. Because the feelings are mutual. We paid almost $300 for a consult and they half did their job. Are they really for the patient? In my opinion NO!!Let me add that I do plan to make a complaint with Cigna and the insurance commission about this office.

I originally scheduled a CO2 Fraxel Laser treatment as that was what I have been doing for the past 12 years. When I saw Ed, he recommended their Forever Young treatment 4 times a year versus the CO2 laser. I had the first treatment and was impressed. It is less painful, quicker and if it gives me the same results as the CO2 laser, it is less expensive. I appreciated the recommendation and personalized treatment plan and am giving it a try. If it doesn't work, I can always reschedule the CO2 laser. Most places would have just performed the CO2 laser since it is considerably more expensive than the Forever Young treatment. Everyone in the office was professional and friendly and made you feel comfortable. I'll keep you posted on the results!
