They LIED to me- I went in for a panniculectomy (sp) consult. The 'Physicians Assistant' TOLD me 'yes, you qualify for this (I have Medicare). I was told that I needed 'clearance' from my PCP & Psych (I am anorexic). The woman gave referral folks to give them (I had to ask for them).. They took pictures, etc.. I was told she would 'check with the insurance specialist' (who I called 3 times, finally got thru to her (the 'receptionists' seems to not know how to work the phone system. The insurance specialist then told me NO, I did not qualify....Then WHY DID THE 'physicians assistant' tell me I DID QUALIFY...what she MIGHT have said was 'lets check to see IF you qualify.' Based on what SHE told me- I then spent my TIME & MONEY to go to my PCP (office visit $) + blood work $$. I have now WASTED that time & money Thankfully I didn't waste further $$ on clearance from a psych appt (not cheap).I am awaiting them to PAY for the $$ I am out.Totally unprofessional (then for reasons I have yet to understand the 'insurance specialist' called me BACK...I still don't know why....Are they going to comp me the (wasted) visit? Bottom line- utterly unprofessional (lots of back peddling btw). B.S. Nope. you should NEVER tell a patient something unless you are SURE. period.----------As to your reply below, you clearly did not read my review.This has nothing to do with insurance. This has to do with your 'Board Certified Physicians Assistant' basically lying to a patient. Then trying to cover their um...'hiney'. if you are sincere in what you are saying, feel free to COMP my 'consult'. (and related medical bills that I would have not spent, had your staff simply said 'lets make sure this is covered by insurance'. She told me she 'misspoke'.

I have known Dr. Jim Davis and his wife Kelly for many years. During that time I've also met a few of his patients. One of the things that impressed me was how happy they were with Jim's experience (he's is one of the most professionally qualified plastic surgeons in Atlanta with Degrees from Duke and Tulane!).Both my wife and I are also patients of Dr. Davis' and will continue to be. There are a lot of so-called plastic surgeons out there but VERY FEW with the long-standing expertise and satisfied client roster like Dr. Davis'.If you are wanting to minimize the effects of aging and improve your own self-image Dr. Davis is absolutely the doctor you should trust. As a first timer to surgeries I was super fearful of all the terrible things that could happen but my back next and shoulder pain had become too much for me so I decided to get a reduction. I had visited several other surgeons offices where each one had tried to scare me into paying cash for something insurance would cover. When I met Dr killingsworth he reassured me that I can still get the outcome I wanted with insurance, but not only that he had awesome bedside manner and has done a phenomenal job! They looked amazing even with the stitches I am 3 months out now the scars are fading the size is comfortable but still visually appealing. I am 53 years old and did the coolsculpting and the staff was more than top notch they are extremely caring about what they do and most of all to the patient which was me.
