I would give her 100 stars if I could. Dr. Bowen is one of a kind! She listened to my concerns and was able to come up with a detailed plan on how she could help me. She was always available to answer any questions that I had during recovery. She did an amazing job on a complicated surgery. I love my results and will definitely use her again. Her staff is kind and makes you feel comfortable immediately. I highly recommend her and her staff.

I chose Golden Isles Center for Plastic Surgery because former patients spoke very highly of Dr Bowen, her staff and the results of the procedures at this practice. I wanted to improve my facial skin texture, reduce fine lines and obtain a more even skin tone. Noels application of a VI chemical peel was professional and reassuring. Im very pleased with the results and the interaction with all of the staff. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Dr. Bowen and her staff for caring and quality service. When in with Meghan Bacher, the aesthetician, I mentioned a slight upraised bump that had just come up on my face. Meghan immediately called in Dr. Bowen who took a sample. It turns out it was skin cancer and I was called the next day with the news. It looked like nothing and it would have been easy for Meghan to not react. I had surgery to remove it and Dr. Bowen did the closing. I have followed up with both and appreciate their continued concern and suggestions. I feel like they truly care and would never consider going anywhere else!

In 2004 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I contacted Dr. Bowen regarding my case and she was very proactive and encouring in her advice. I opted for a double mastectomy with reconstruction . She walked me through the whole process of the different surgeries I had to undergo and the process of reconstruction with implants with nipple tattoos.As I aged I started having trouble with drooping eyelids. Again I consulted Dr. Bowen and she did an amazing job on the my eyelids. She also did a brow lift which increased my ability to see. I was diagnosed over the years with several skin cancers which needed to be removed. Dr. Bowen did a perfect job on those. She is very gentle. You hardlly feel anything and the scars are completely gone now. With skin cancers I believe a surgeon is the best route to go and she is very skilled in reducing scarring. If your cancer is on the face you really do need a skilled surgeon to keep from having a scarring issue that can cause embarrassment. As the years have gone by and with aging issues I have used Dr. Bowen for skin care. In addition to skin care products by SkinCeuticals I had a chemical peel which turned out GREAT in 2009. Now I getting ready for Dr. Bowen to do a lower face lift for my sagging neck which I inherited from my mom's side of the family. I am very excited about it! Dr. Bowen is very compassionate and caring person as well as an excellent surgeon . She has the most beautiful delicate hands... a surgeons hands. I would recommend her for any surgery whether for breast reconstruction or reduction, skin cancer removal, skin care, face enhancements like eye lids, brow lifts, and lower facelift.She is an excellent surgeon and a wonderful person.Pam Kerr

Dr. Bowen sets & continues to raise the standard when it comes to treating her patients like she would want to be treated if she were in their position. I came to her desituite-broken & traumatized.I never imagined I'd go through what I'd experienced by another surgeon. She took me in, listened, allowed me to heal emotionally-evaluated me nutritionally via labs & took the time to walk me back to a place of confidence that things could get better. With her God blessed hands & caring, they did!After spending years with neck and shoulder pain, I was approved for a breast reduction by my insurance carrier. Unfortuanately, I had the most horrifying experience . I walked around with exposed open tissue for months. Back and forth to the doctors office and the ER. After loosing both nipples/areolae and tissue surrounding the area - I had to endure yet , another surgery to harvest skin to try and reconstruct the damaged areas. DISASTER! I had significant blood loss in the area where skin was harvested to be used for the new areolae .Needed a blood transfusion but I decided to go with rigorous treatment through an oncologist to get my blood count back up to acceptable levels. . I spent close to 600 + dollars on guaze alone to keep the areas clean&dry while they healed- it was difficult for me to look in the mirror every morning. I lost both areole and breast tissue, had been through a year of emotional and physical trauma, I was very sad. Had it not been for the grace of God, my sister and a friend who was a nurse that would come to care for me and encourage me- and a couple other friends that would come and spend time with me- helping me change bandages- back and forth to the ER : etc... I would have lost my mind. But... I learned - and I continue to learn that GOD's grace is sufficient . In the midst of trial and suffering- as well as joy and laughter, He changes not! His compassions they fail not! As He has been, He forever will be! So greatful for HIS GREAT FAITHFULNESS AND DIVINE INTERVENTION to hear, see and care for me as I needed help. Someone referred me to my current Primary Care Doctor, Leslie McQuiqq, ANP , whom I love dearly - as she would not stop (after only seeing me for the first time) -working expeditiously , with compassion- to have her office schedule me to see Dr. Bowen.Dr. Bowen - was sent to me from the Lord above or I was sent to her. I have never met a more caring Doctor-Surgeon in my life- and not only have I been treated, but I have worked along side many. My most thoughtful and caring primary care physician - Leslie McQuiqq, insisted I see her straight away. I was new to the area and well, the story is a bit long- but I will leave you with this:You will not find a more qualified - caring - thorough- Plastic Surgeon. She is not just concerned with performing a procedure -she is concerned with your life. All of it - what you're going through emotionally &your over all health- as ultimately, it does play a vital role in outcomes . The Lord blesses this practice because they pour His compassionate love on their patients. They greet you with gladness. Of course they have to make a living - but I know the skilled dexterity in Dr. Bowen's hands , the genius mind& the love she has for her patients was placed in her heart to help others.. for His glory! She leads and models this conduct before her very kind and competent staff & they follow.God doesn't waste pain. We are nearing the end of my reconstruction and I am beginning to ' know better - not just feel better, about who I am - and I can say that it's because , Dr. Bowen helped me to believe that 'we could make something beautiful ' out of all that pain . . Thankful that the Lord gives beauty for ashes and comfort for pain. It may not always be how we invision- but trust His Sovereignty! And what ever comes our way, His Grace is evermore sufficient. His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Thank You, Lord, for this true and beautiful woman - Dr. Diane Bowen. Thank You for her kind and lovely staff.
