I had lip injections in Jan 2018 for lines around my mouth. The cost was a special they were having around or about 485.00. I was told by the nurse the injections would last 6 months to a year. Good experience. After a couple week when the swelling went down you could not tell any difference to my surprise. I called the office back continually until I got another appt at no charge ' of course' Dr Vandermark gave me the second set of injections himself. He was very nice and went well. But the same thing. A couple weeks after swelling went down nothing again. Called the office and left message about the whole scenario. No return call. That is a considerable amount of money to get NO results. Would never go bad or refer. Something very wrong here

Dr Vandermark was awesome, I had a tummy tuck and he explained everything in detail so no surprises. I am 3 weeks out from surgery and already I am very pleased and I still have some swelling that once gone will give an even better result. I will definitely recommend him and use him again if I decide to do any other surgerys.

I had a breast augmentation in December by dr. Vandermark, and here I am not even a year later having to spend 4000 for another doctor to fix his mess up. My implants came out of the pocket also known as bottoming. He gave me no post op instructions, I specifically asked if I need to wear a surgical support bra and he said no I don't even have to wear a bra. When you look up implant bottoming one of the reasons it can happen is from not wearing a support bra. when I made an appointment to see about fixing it, he wanted to go in and tack my skin to my rib muscle with me awake. I was even thinking about going a little bigger which he was saying is fine and planned on charging me 500 off the original price of first surgery(which is pretty much nothing) to go bigger when he already has to cut me back open to fix me. So I went to get an opinion from another doctor who plans on reforming capsulorraphy to fix this. (Actually go in a sew the pocket together) When I told her what he had planned to do she said that is pretty much a temporary fix. Also she said wearing a support bra is crucial for healing and that it's not really safe to go bigger til this is fixed. ALSO if I would've gone to the doctor I'm going with now originally being fixed the correct way would've been free and bottoming probably wouldn't have even happened because she makes you wear a surgical bra post op for 6 weeks. So I'll end up spending 9000 this year due to his mess up or 'care free post op instructions' I will never refer anyone to him and will make sure anyone that plans on having a breast augmentation is informed of my story. He left me loss with this mess up, had no sympathy. thank god I found another surgeon. Time to pay up from my poor decisions on choosing this surgeon and move on from this horror story.

Back in 2010, i had a breast reduction done. I wasn't pleased with my outcome and as of 2016, i still have low self-esteem about all of the visual scaring, small hole left from the staples not property healing, enlarged scars around both nipples and under arm area. I asked Margie numerous times, was it normal and i was told, it will all go away. I'm still waiting after 6 years and everything is still the same. I'm not the type of person to constantly complain, so i moved on with my life. But, i must speak out because I'm not happy and i haven't been in a long time since i was per-say butchered! If you decide to go through any kind of plastic surgery please, do your research on the physician first because you don't want to be like me, 6 years later unhappy with low self-esteem!

I consulted with Dr. Vandermark in September 2010 and decided to undergo corrective breast implant surgery. In October 2010 the implant surgery was complete and I'm better than ever. The staff made me feel very comfortable and my mind was so at ease. Fast forward to 2017 I am still very pleased with the work that Dr. Vandermark has done. At 71 y/o if I needed anymore surgery I would use Dr. Vandermark again.

Dr. Vandemark, in my humble opinion, is the best cosmetic surgeon in Valdosta. The man can work miracles. My sister was bitten by my sharpei back in 2010. He went straight in for the kill and her face was mutilated. You could see into and down the side of her nose and see all the sinews of cartilage and tissue inside. The opposite cheek was also gaping open. I was horrified and riddled with guilt at the idea that it was my fault and I could have somehow prevented it. I just knew she was going to be disfigured forever, because of MY territorial 'guard dog'. Thank God, Dr. Vandemark was the one on call at the er that night. He reconstructed her face using 19 stitches along the natural curves and shadows of her face. Today, you can't even tell it happened. From the time he came in to examine her wounds, his calmness was infectious. He was so reassuring & was the only person who made us feel like life would be able to go on again. Dr. Vandemark is beyond patient and extremely humble. His relaxed nature speaks volumes of his confidence, as well as his compassion for patients. I've never met a doctor with a bed side manner that is quite so pleasant or a personality that is so down to earth. He recently removed two moles from my face that I have had forever because I was soooo nervous about a knife to my face. Understandably so, right? He put my mind at ease like no other and the entire procedure took 8 minutes. He even let us take a video! It was incredibly gnarly yet he made it look as effortless as a walk in the park. I will never go to anyone else with my vanity. His skills are way far beyond the acknowledgement I've seen him receive. I would recommend him to anyone who values being able to trust your doctor. It's a rare find!

I had a breast reduction in 2014. I thought I was relatively clear during my consultation with Dr. Vandermark about where I was and where I wanted to end up. I started at a 44G and I wanted to end up around a full DD with a nice amount of projection, volume and cleavage. I am a plus sized woman (size 18) and therefore wanted the final results to be proportionate to the rest of my body. This did not happen. (Clearly, I had MORE than enough breast tissue to end up where I wanted to be!) The day after surgery, once I was more lucid, I was mortified and immediately expressed my dissatisfaction to Dr. Vandermark's nurse, Margie, at my first post op appointment. She did try to comfort me and say that it was just the beginning of the healing process and she was sure I'd like the end result. (She was WRONG!) She even stated, 'Baby, you're at least a D.' (Problem number one...I told him I wanted to be a full DD...even on the day of surgery when he came in to do his markings). During subsequent follow up appointments, I expressed my dissatisfaction with my physical appearance, even letting Dr. Vandermark know that the small size of my breast have affected me self-esteem wise. I mean, when you don't like how you look that's kind of a big deal. He didn't seem concerned or even empathetic about my declaration. I asked about possible implants and he said, 'Yeah, we can put a small implant in.' He then had the ladies at the front desk give me a quote of what it'd cost to do an implant...the amount was $5900. I'm thinking to myself, 'Hold on...my insurance company just shelled out over $10,000 for a reduction and now you want me to pay you an additional $5900 for your screw up?!?!?!? I mean, I wasnt expecting anything for free but I figured the least he could do was discount the procedure considering the lack of my satisfaction as a patient. Admittedly, I was hesitate about allowing Dr. Vandermark to do my breast reduction in the beginning because even at the consultation he seemed very disconnected and rushedI think he spent 10-15 minutes in the room with me and really didnt feel like he was concerned with what I was telling him I wanted. I pushed my intuition aside and moved forward with the procedure. All in all, its been 16 months since my reduction and I am still extremely dissatisfied with my physical appearance. So much so that I am now getting ready to shell out $4500 for breast implants to improve how I look and feel about my physical appearance. Needless to say Dr. Vandermark will NOT be doing this surgery. Ive sought out another surgeon, in another city, to complete this procedure. If youre considering having surgery through Dr. Vandermark make sure that he is clear as to what your desires are. Take him pictures, etc. just to be sure that he understands. Id hate for you to end up in the situation Im in where Im now paying someone else to correct his mistake. I honestly question if the amount of breast tissue needing to be removed was over exaggerated in order to get the insurance company to approve the surgery. I dont think Dr. Vandermark is a bad guy or doctor I just think he needs to work on being more empathetic regarding a patients concerns and be more connected/present when engaging with patients. After all, were talking about a person putting THEIR vanity in his hands.
