Doctor McInnes is an excellent surgeon as well as just a nice person to be around. His staff were just the greatest professionally and hospitably. After he raised my eyelids I have a far greater field of vision as well as seeing everything with great brightness. At 73 my life just seems a lot better. I have had surgery twice by Dr. McInnis. First time was the repair of a full thickness Moh surgery of a lower eyelid done for a basal cell carcinoma. Several years later I had bilateral blepharoplasty for eyelids that were restricting my peripheral vision.Absolutely pleased with both of the results. Office is efficient and friendly. Dr. McInnis has always been prompt, professional and attentive to any of my concerns.

I was referred to Dr. McInnes by my dermatologist to have cholesterol deposits removed from underneath my eyes. We also discussed having an upper eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty to help my impaired vision from over-hanging eyelids. Once the surgeries were finished, my dermatologist commented that Dr. McInnes did such a intricate job of stitching that he could not tell what had been done. The cholesterol deposits are gone and a wonderful by-product of the blepharoplasty is that my migraines have significantly decreased. The before and after photos are unbelievable. The wonderful part is that I look like a younger version of myself and not a Hollywood fake persona. I would highly recommend Dr. McInnes for any reconstructive or corrective surgery no matter your age or gender. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

Dr. McInnes, at Aesthetic Eye, PC, was recommended to my husband by our regular eye doctor for a possible ectropion surgery. Dr. McInnes examined my husband's eyes and determined that ectropion surgery on both eyes would help my husband. Dr. McInnes patiently explained the surgery, how long it would take, and what to expect during recovery. The surgery was successful. Dr. McInnes met with me right after the surgery and explain how things went. My husband left the hospital a couple an hour or so after surgery. All of the post-surgery activities Dr. McInnes suggests that we follow really helped minimize the swelling and discoloration. He told us to call if something unusual developed. At the one-week post-op visit, Dr. McInnes examined my husband to make sure the healing was normal. He once again suggested some things to continue to do to keep the healing process moving forward. At the 6-week post-op visit, Dr. McInnes once again checked the areas where he had performed the surgery. He said everything looked good. We appreciated his attention to the healing process, and we appreciated his great bedside manner. He answered questions to our satisfaction and never made us feel like he was in a hurry. The office seems to be well organized and easy to work with. We highly recommend Dr. McInnes and Aesthtic Eye, PC for any eyelid surgery needs.

I was a teenager in Los Angeles, before sunscreen, so now in my 70's I'm having skin cancers and MOHS procedures, where they take layers until they get a sample that is free of basal cells. Dr. McInnis did the repair the day after my dermatologist did four layers off my lower eyelid -- I had lost a half inch of the eyelid margin (edge) and the size of a penny, off my cheek. Wow, what a fabulous job he did. He used several techniques -- strong stitches in the skin below the outer surface, and then several techniques to swirl enough skin around on the outer layer. It's been a few months now and I'm amazed the both eyes have the same appearance at the margin and also the skin underneath my eye. When I smile, the skin under my eyes naturally wrinkles -- both sides equally. He is very talented, and also very gentle and kind. When I had returned after a few weeks to have stitches taken out, he did it himself, very gently. He and his staff are kind souls. I highly recommend them without hesitation.

Dr. McInnes and staff are always looking out for the best interest of every patient. So what? You waited for your appointment time. Did you know it's because some patients come in and need extensive care that wasn't expected? It's certainly not because they're all sitting around the employee lounge talking about the weekend. These guys are professional and on point all the time. Most importantly, don't you want the best doc in the area? We're lucky to have him in our medical community.

This office is wonderful. From the time you walk in to the time you leave. They are very caring and understanding and will actually spend time explaining things to you. You don't feel rushed or like they are trying to hurry and get you out. I would recommend to anyone needing eye care.

I had a very bad experience several years ago with an eye surgery where they attempted to remove what i thought was a cyst in my eye lid. The Dr had told me i could do an office visit and i wouldnt feel a thing..i felt everything from the cutting of both eye lids to every stitch and i looked like something out of a horror film, it took me over a week and a half to recover and 1 week to be able to drive. Two years later i was referred to Dr McInnes and although hesitant, i followed up and I couldnt be happier that i did! Dr McInnes found that it was not in fact a cyst but my lacrymal gland had fallen. He was very kind and spent time explaining what he would do he also said i absolutely would not be awake for the proceedure. Day of surgery i was still scared and he was very reassuring, his staff was excellent, nurses and anesthesiologist were all amazing! Everyone was so kind and, i did not feel a thing. I didnt even need pain medication after my proceedure. I couldnt be happier! I will never go to anyone else, this place and the people are amazing!

Dr . McInnes was absolutely amazing and made my eye look like nothing had ever happened to it. (I had a cancerous growth removed from my eyelid) He took the time to visit with me to make me feel comfortable with the progress, even though I know he was very busy.I was disappointed in the staff though. I was told the biopsy would be in within 2 days, and I kept calling to see if the biopsy had come in and each time was told that it hadn't, but when it did, they would give me a call. After 2 1/2 weeks, I called Dr. Mc Innes's cell phone and asked him about it. He immediately found the biopsy results, which necessitated in immediate surgery. As it was a few weeks before Christmas, I sure wish it could have been 2 weeks earlier. They also had a hard time keeping track of payments that I had made, and even though I had the receipts, they couldn't find the payment. This would not keep me from recommending Dr. McInnes to anyone, or from returning to him if I needed to.

Update: After giving Aesthetic Eye a 1 star (review below), I now give them a 4 star. Sorry it took me so long to update my review.After rescheduling my appointment with Dr. Mcinnes, he did a wonderful job at explaining what was going on with my eye and suggested surgery would be best at removing the multiple chalazions I had. He and his assistant did an outstanding job at removing the chalazions and making me feel confident again! The results looked like I never had them to begin with and I was amazed! Thank you so much!! I totally recommend coming here!I'd give a 5 star had I received at least a phone call notifying me my first appointment (a year ago) was canceled. They did offer to reschedule me for a later time that same day but I had work to get back to.Old: Came in today hoping to find a solution for my eye problems that's been making me feel insecure for almost 5 months now and it turns out they filled in my spot with someone else. They didn't even give me a call to let me know that was going to happen. I live far from this place so I wasted my time, gas, and money for nothing. I'm super displeased with the service. I left so mad and hopeless. All I was to them was money.

I wish I had the same experience as everyone else. The staff and Dr. McInnis were great. My surgery outcome hasn’t been the best. One of my eyes is fine but the other appears smaller and too tight. I expressed my concern with the doctor and he agreed that my eye didn’t look quite right and to come back in a couple of months to see. I came back and he said I just have smaller eye. Never before in my life has one eye been noticeably smaller than the other. My issue is that I have been charged for visits I shouldn’t have been charged for. I was seen after my surgery and then went back to have stitches removed. Then had to go back because they missed taking some out. I was shocked when I was charged for the visit the doctor told me to come back to to see if he needed to fix my eye. To me that is part of making sure the surgery was done properly. There’s nothing I can do to fix my eye and yet I’m charged for visits that should have been included.
