My experience with Dr. Smith was 11 years ago. I had an unfortunate accident involving wind, a horse trailer door, and my forehead, nose, and lower lip. I knew that the wounds must be bad by the looks on everyone's faces, plus the fact that no one would let me look in a mirror. We called the ER at MVRMS, and they contacted Dr. Smith who met us there and spent a couple of hours stitching up my face - about five inches worth. A few days later, I returned to Dr. Smith's office to remove the stitches and patch the healing wounds with Steri Strips. The wounds healed well, leaving minimal scars. I am so appreciative of Dr. Smith's willingness to meet me at the ER that day - a Saturday afternoon - for his skill and kind demeanor on a very painful and traumatic day.
