My experience with Shifrin Plastic Surgery beginning with my first consultation with Dr. Shifrin until my final consultation with him months after my surgery well exceeded my expectations. In today's world, experience is everything and Shifrin Plastic Surgery delivered. I was made to feel welcome and at home whenever I was at the surgery center. I received a clear explanation from Dr. Shifrin about my surgical options during the initial consult and fully understood what type of results I could expect. The staff was open and transparent about the cost of my surgery, which put me at ease. I was given detailed instructions about what to expect leading up to surgery, the day of surgery and throughout recovery. Each time I called the office with questions the staff was courteous and responsive. Best of all Dr. Shifrin fully delivered on my surgical results. The bump on my nose is gone but my overall appearance remains the same. He did an excellent job preserving the integrity of my face and making the 'subtle' change I desired. The work he did on my abdomen is unbelievable. He essentially gave me 'overnight abs.' I was in good shape before my operation but now I look in the mirror and I see an eight pack to go along with the rest of my body. Dr. Shifrin deserves his reputation as being one of the best plastic surgeons throughout the nation and, in my opinion, worldwide. I recommend Dr. Shifrin and Shifrin Plastic Surgery to anyone considering plastic surgery. Job well done.

I got silicone breast implants February 2020 the the experience was unreal! Dr Shifrin and all of his staff were amazing, communicative and professional. My recovery was so quick and Dr Shirin was always available if I had any questions. I had such a good experience that Im actually hoping to have a BBL with him as well. If youre deciding between a couple of surgeons, Dr Shifrin is the way to go.

I waited a long time to write this but it needs be said. I would never recommend anyone coming here. I paid money not once but twice to fix something. And granted with surgery there are no guarantees. But this place has staff turn over. Theyre unorganized. They look at you for a dollar sign and move on to the next patient. My second surgery was delayed and the patient before me had complications. I asked if my surgery should be moved to another day. I was tossed out right after surgery. And I was worse off than I was before. Again I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SURGEON. I get there are 0 guarantees in surgery and all that but he rushes through and doesnt care about his patients. Save your money and go to a doctor who cares about your results and their reputation. Beyond disappointing when I gave them several opportunities to fix it!

Had lipo & fat transfer 5 mos ago. Dr. Shifrin is an innovative and visionary plastic surgeon with a great bedside manner. He has an awesome and professional team of staff that work well together. My treatments were with Dr Shifrins wife.I went in for a forehead vein consultation and was told Botox would help (found out later that this has not ever been true). Of course it didnt work. I also wanted to see if I could get help erasing my under eye bags. I was told fillers and this special eye cream would help. The fillers caused a blood vessel to burst under my eye giving me a permanent bruise (its been 5 months and its still very dark) which actually made my undereye bags look worse. The eye cream made the texture of my skin that of an elephant - dry and cracked looking. When I went back after my first consult to show this clearly had not helped, I was told my eyes looked better and would not issue a refund despite disfiguring me further. I felt completely misled. Save your money and do research before blindly listening to advice. Staff need to be educated on what treatments will/will not work for certain ailments.

As referenced by a previous reviewer, the decision to have plastic surgery and find a doctor that I really liked and trusted was a very serious one. I vacillated on the decision for a couple years. Finally, I decided to take the plunge with Dr. Shifrin and what a truly wonderful decision it has been. I cannot praise that staff enough!! The two young ladies at the desk were so friendly and personable despite the fact that they were apparently quite busy. The office and exam room were very clean and well kept. Upon Dr. Shifrin's arrival to the exam room, I wanted to run and hide because I was VERY uncomfortable with my body. Dr. Shifrin was so down to earth, so knowledgeable, and very reassuring. I decided right then that this was the place for me. When I came in for pre-op, the MA Connie, was awesome! I was extremely disgusted by the idea of taking pictures of my body. Connie was so patient with me and personable, she totally distracted me, took the pictures quickly, and made me feel completely comfortable. The scheduling and payment processes were quite smooth, too. A lot to sign but again, the 2 ladies took time to explain everything, lay out payment options, and one of them even shared her personal experiences with plastic surgery. Both of them were so friendly and very patient with me.On the morning of surgery, I was blown away by how nice and accommodating the surgical staff is, not to mention efficient. Dr. Shifrin came in greeted me by name, marked me, and off to surgery I went. Nurse Kelly was an absolute doll and the anesthesiologist was very thorough. When I woke up, the staff provided excellent care. Recovery was rough. This is real surgery! Despite this, each time I called with questions, the staff was supportive and thorough. Dr. Paul was just the best!! Each time I came in for post-op visits and follow ups, the staff was so reassuring and always cheered me on. Dr. Shifrin was the same friendly guy. He greeted me with a hug and was very complimentary. Overall, I am elated with my results and the whole experience. I feel so much more confident when I walk into a room. My clothes fit so much better. (In fact, some of them are too big [I had a lot of 'fat' clothes]. I am actually shopping for a bikini which is something I had not even considered in the last 16 years.) I do not at all regret my decision to have surgery with Dr. Shifrin and I would definitely return to him if I decide upon further 'alterations' in the future. He is the real deal.

New office is clean and beautiful and location is super convenient right off the highway and parking was super easy. $2 an hour beat the old office crammed parking garage on lake shore drive where I paid $23 per visit. I also love that they have a private, fully accredited surgery floor in the building.

I had such a great experience at Dr. Shifrin's. Being my first procedure I was very nervous about getting a tummy tuck/BBL, but Dr. Shifrin made the whole process easy and is very informative which made me feel I was in great hands. The procedure went amazing, I look 100% better, and he went above my expectations. After the procedure he was there every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure I was completely happy with everything. I've never had such a great doctor/patient experience where the doctor really shows he cares about you even after the surgery! I am 100% happy with my entire experience and has definitely benefited my life so much. I also want to say thanks to the staff and nurses that work along side him, they are so friendly and go above and beyond as well!

Dr. David Shifrin and his staff are the best! I had a bbl with implants. His nurses are super nice and caring and Dr. Shifrin's bed side manner is amazing. He put me at ease as soon as I met him. My consultation was originally for just a bbl but when I showed him my wish pics he said I would need implants to achieve my desired results. I am now 2 months post op and I am absolutly loving my results. He was so right. My pre op was 3 weeks prior to surgery and he answered all of my questions and made me feel super comfortable about my upcoming operation. Day of surgery he could tell I was a bit nervous prior to the operation and assured me that I was in great hands and that everything would go well and I would wake up beautiful. I had some post op issues with feeling nauseous and dehydrated and insisted I get more fluids before leaving and stayed with me while I got them. He was happy to see me perk up.My 24 hour post op appointment Dr. Shifrin staff helped me up to his office as my recovery was slow going at the start. He saw I was struggling so worked with me at my pace and got me on my way home so I could rest. I had my drains removed at 1 week post op. My 6 week post op appointment he could tell that my recovery had turned a corner and I was healing really well. He and I both loved my results that were already showing through and cleared me to start exercising. Thank you Dr. Shifrin for my amazing butt I can not wait until next summer to show it off. Thank you to all of his staff who have been more than accommodating at every turn. This has been a wonderful experience and could not have asked for a better surgeon. You are definitely the butt God of chicago!

I had a pectoral implant and liposuction performed by Dr Shifrin. He was nice, professional and confident. My experience with the staff was positive. The new facility they are in was super easy to get to. Parking was readily available, it was clean and brand new. He is a very busy surgeon and I had to wait a little to see him for my consult but it was well worth it. I sent him a few of my friends who were waiting to see my results and hear my experience.

Absolutely happy with my results! I was scared of the end results and the healing process, but everything worked out so perfectly and healed faster than I could ever imagined. I had met with Dr. Shifrin for a consultation for a breastlift and possible tummy tuck. He has excellent bedside manner and makes you feel at ease right away. He took the time to get to know me and my wants/needs for surgery. During the consultation we decided that a breastlift and liposuction on my core would be the right fit. The office staff is very accommodating and scheduling appointments was always easy. The office itself is organized and clean. I am beyond happy with my results. I came to Dr. Shifrin with interest in a breast lift and augmentation about a year ago. I have allowed this much time to lapse in order to give a realistic overview of the experience as well as the result of the procedure. A year later? My results are nothing less than the absolute best! Dr. Shifrin, as well as his staff were professional, patient, knowledgeable, supportive and attentive. Surgery is never easy on the patient, but for as much fear as I had going in, I would never have done anything different now. Dr. Shifrin did an amazing job. My recovery was smooth and a year later my scarring is minimal, which was a concern for me, someone who scars easily and has fair skin. Amazing Doctor!!! He's so nice, easy to talk to. Everyone in the office are very easy to talk to, I always feel very comfortable every time I go for a check up. I would definitely come back if I ever want anything else done in the future. I chose him from another surgeon I went to because of how nice he is and how much he showed how he wants to help achieve the body I want, unlike the other surgeon I went to kept explaining about the risks and making sure if I was okay with that or not, even though I mentioned how I was perfectly fine with it. I was also surprised on how painless I was after the procedure. Everyone around me was surprised on how active I was within the few days after surgery, maybe that's just how I am but I believe it was because of how Dr. Shifrin did my surgery and the medications he gave me. It was my first and only surgery so I don't have much to compare it with, but I am very satisfied with the results and can't feel any better!

My expectations were way higher him being one of the most expensive doctors in the area I thought my results were going to be different I can't really write any thing else since he makes you sign papers saying you won't give him a bad review (check on Yelp For more reviews) I'm just saying 10500 for BBL was definitely not worth it on my finall follow up doctor told me that now I need a back lift. That would be a nother 9,000. If that was truly the case why didn't he tell me that on my first consultation . said I gained 9 lb funny I went to my doctor before surgery to get medical released and then I just went after he told me that I had gained weight at my doctor's office according to them I've only gained 1 pound. I had no problem paying more than any other doctor had quoted me because I thought I was going to the best was very disappointed Will be getting more fat taken out but going to go to a different doctor more expensive isn't always better my friends that paid $5,000 for their BBL and have way better results

I had a breast augmentation and nose job from dr shifrin. His staff is awesome. I'm a year out and very happy. I recently went to his new office and it's super nice and easy to get to off the highway and has a ton of street parking. Way better than his old location with the terrible parking lot. I think I paid $6 for 2 hours in front of his building. I really like the south loop location as I live in the suburbs and hate driving in the city. I got off near McCormick place and was there. I'm sending all my friends.

I've had my fair share of surgical procedures everywhere from NYC, Beverly Hills, Colombia and more. I recently moved to Chicago and it was very hard to find a good surgeon as Chicago really isn't known for Plastic Surgery. Thankfully I found Dr. Shifrin. From the consult to surgery day he was really sweet and comforting. The results were not expected. I thought it'll be a good job but nothing special. I was wrong. It was beyond my expectations. He did a great job and I've recommended several friends to him already. He is really good at what he does. Just wished he did non-surgical procedures like fillers.

Soooo happy! I have a friend who went to the Dominican for her surgery. It was cheaper but she had a horrible infection and after seeing that, I realized no one should skimp out when it comes to their bodies. So I had a buttocks implant 3 months ago and I couldn't be happier!!! I did my research and basically if you want a better butt, you come to Dr. Shifrin -- apparently everyone already knows that?!Five stars for him, his staff, his anesthesiologist, and his skills! Dr Shifirn is the real deal. After a long search in Chicago, I was lucky enough to get on his schedule. He and his staff made me feel well taken care of and at completely at ease from beginning to end. He takes the time to answer every question you have at every apppintment - or by email. He is not only extremely professional, but very talented... my complicated procedure produced amazing results and I 100% believe I could not have gotten better anywhere else. Hes not the cheapest option, but I can tell you hes worth it, and for plastic surgery - he is absolutely the best. You get what you pay for.
