I've taken my kids in for skin issues twice and both times they used scare tactics and casually threw around the word 'cancer' to pressure me into letting them unnecessarily cut into my son and have multiple unnecessary appointments for things that really were minor. We saw someone else in Peoria for a second opinion because soderstrom promised they'd take care of the problem at the same time as the biopsy and intentionally didn't so that they could turn what could have been 1 appointment into 3-4 and caused a lot of unnecessary stress for a young child and his family just to take in a little extra $.

Decent dermatology group hampered slightly by the fact of heavy self-advertising of services in their waiting area, and that despite being a multi-office, multi-practitioner group the response upon my calling about the online bill-pay portal not working is 'oh I don't think we actually do that' despite having it prominently linked from the webpage.

Happy that many of you have had a good experience as it was not the case recently 10/18 with my wife. She had a painful lesion near her sternum, contacted her long time dermatologist in Florida who suggested that she get in and have a biopsy done to help speed up the process when we return to FL for the winter. Upon the recommendation of others and reviews, she felt that she could trust having simple biopsy done to determine the possibility that it may be malignant. Beware of signing a release as it says that they have the right to do basically whatever they determine you need done regardless of what you specifically stated that you were there. My wife was placed on the table and the spot in question was scooped out rather than have a simple biopsy as was requested....and charged $900 for the procedure which they then told her that they did not likely get it all. What??? Patient beware...my wife posted her displeasure on a FB page which has been deleted. What??? They will contact you and tell you that you signed a release and then try to appease you with another appointment to see management. Truthfully, I wouldn't let my wife go near there again. Then asked how they could help make it right. My wife suggested that they send our self pay $900 back and that is the last we heard from them. Whammo...FB page where my wife indicated her displeasure was entirely deleted. What??? Go at your own risk...can't say we didn't warn you.

Soderstrom products are amazing and their service is even better. I love how personalized every visit is. My mom and I went in for facials and dermaflash had a relaxing morning being pampered by their knowledgeable, warm and welcoming staff. Can't wait for our next visit!

If youre going for the spa services it's fine. Anything else plan on waiting at least 45 minutes. We had to leave twice because my daughter couldn't miss that much school. You have to get the first appointment of the day if you don't want to wait. A lady accross from us left too. She has a bad back and had been suffering in the waitng room chair for over an hour! They are notorious for overbooking!

Poor performance on all levels. The wait times are egregious-- as in I finally saw the derm AN HOUR PAST THE TIME THEY CLOSE. I waited literally for two hours. The nurses are terrible at taking blood; I had to make ANOTHER appointment for a blood test so they could try again when both my arms healed up from their attempts. They'll make you come in for extra appointments if possible so they can bill you again. And on top of all that they sent a letter threatening to call collections on me even though I had made a payment within their time-frame. The worst dermatology practice I've ever been to across multiple states.
