My wife and I are both dr. Patels patients. Dr. Patel and his staff were incredible. Dr Patel is very knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions (and ones we didn't even think to ask.) and concerns. At the same time Dr. Patel has a great bedside manner. My wife had total body makeover with 360 liposuction, breast lift and fat transfer to butt and breast. I had 8 pack high def lipo sculpting and etching in my abdomen. I was already in good shape but wanted a very defined model like body. We could not be happier with the results. He has a lots of before and after pictures and can find your similar body type to show you what yours could look like. I strongly recommend him!

I recently had Mohs surgery on my nose. I was referred to Dr. Patel by my dermatologist to have the follow up surgery to put my nose back together, and I'm so very grateful she did! I had a hole on the tip of my nose just under the size of a dime. Dr. Patel did a flap surgery a month ago which is healing nicely!! They have laser treatments available for scars which I talked to Jennifer and Taylor about, as well as Dr. Patel and am looking forward to my follow up visit to give that a try. Doc is wonderful, he answers all your questions and takes extremely good care of you. His staff is fantastic-all the ladies there are extremely nice and juggle the hustle of that office really well. As I said, I'm so grateful my dermatologist referred me here! Very talented!

I had the most WONDERFUL experience with Dr. Patel. From my first consultation, i felt completely comfortable and at ease and knew this was the right place for me. I am a big framed woman who had her first child and needed to get a breast augmentation. Dr. Patel gave me such a wonderful procedure, it is my first day post surgery and i have little to NO PAIN!! They are exactly the size i had wanted and I couldn't be happier. I am so so happy and will be going to Dr. Patel for any and all procedures. Great staff all around. Everyone, from the front desk to the nurses to Dr. Patel, was extremely caring, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Dr. Patel and nurse Karla are wonderful! I'm very pleased beginning with the consultation to the office visits and results of my upper and lower eyelid surgery, fat transfer and Contouring of face/neck area to thin out my Lower face and neck area. All of this was done in office under local anesthesia that saved me a lot of money and no need for general anesthesia. I love my rejuvenated looking young face. Highly recommend!

Dr. Patel and his staff were amazing and caring during my experience for a corrective breast augmentation following a less than optimal result from the previous plastic surgery by a well known surgeon in Chicago area. My husband who is an orthopedic surgeon, got Dr. Patels name as a high recommendation from one of his colleagues. After my previous experience, I was skeptical to have any further surgery even for corrective measures. But after my consultation and decision to have the corrective surgery, I would not let anyone consider seeing ANYONE except Dr. Patel. If you are considering plastic surgery, Go ahead and do yourself a favor by going in for a consultation with Dr. Patel. He is absolutely worth every penny!

In the beginning it was a little wait to get to see dr. Patel but overall everyone was nice in office. Dr. Patel really knows what he is doing and I look great! His honesty and confidence was refreshing. Dr. Patel promised me results.....and he exceeded all my expectations with my mommy makeover surgery. I am still sore from the surgery but I know its part of the process. I got my surgery few weeks ago and so far my body is looking better than when I was younger. I have to say I've been following all the instructions they gave me prior to surgery and at the follow up visit as well. The staff and physicians at chicago institute of plastic surgery are the VERY best at helping their patients figure out what direction they should take to get their desired results. Knowing I needed limited down time and like to see quick results, they suggested a combination of BBL & pro-fractional resurfacing treatment as a way to regenerate and renew the skin on my face and neck. It was just exactly what I wanted! Within just a few days my skin tone was more even, my skin was smooth and glowing , fine lines and wrinkles were truly diminished. It just looks better every day! Dr. Patel & Michelle gave me a very clear explanation on what to expect before, during, and after the treatment. She also sent me home with very clear instructions on how to care for my skin during the fast healing time. I'm the type of person who doesn't typically write reviews or even have the time, but my recent experience with Dr. Patels office is definitely worth my time! I am a mommy of three, with my youngest being 2 years of age. After each baby I'd bounce back to my original weight but as you know the beauty of having children can leave devastating damage to the appearance of our bodies. After three breastfed big babies I was left with an unrecognizable belly button, hanging excess tissue and droopy breasts I knew NO workout or diet could remedy! I made the best decision in having a Mommy Make Over-full tummy tuck and breast implants done by Dr. Patel! I never thought I'd be able to wear a two piece ever again! I felt very confident with his knowledge and experience. Trust him when he expresses his opinions because he was absolutely right! From 360 Lipo with my tummy tuck to implant toe and size. I wanted to go very natural and at first I was afraid with the size preference of the implants chosen for me, but in the end the results were perfect so I'm happy I listened. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone who is in doubt!

I had a procedure done on my eyelids 9 months ago and will say that the staff and Dr. Patel were great. They explained to me thoroughly what to expect during and after my procedure. They answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable during the whole process. I was able to do my upper and lower eyelid surgery in office without general anesthesia. Dr. Dhaval Patel was recommended to me through a fitness model friend of mine who had her breast surgery done 3 years ago. He was very helpful in assisting me in making a decision on the size and specific procedures of how to do the breast enhancement surgery.Because I started off with small amount of breast tissue and slight sagging of breast skin, Dr. Patel decided to go below the muscle and have separate dissection of breast tissue to give a small lift. This also really helped give the visual appearance of a lift, since I lost some perkiness after losing weight. I went from a small B to a large D, and I have been so happy with the result. I look sexy but natural, which was very important to me because I work in the professional world. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a single thing. Even my recovery was very easy. I was functioning normally after a few days, and was able to slowly start workout after 3-4 weeks. I would recommend Dr. P to anyone.

I wasn't fortunate like most girls to be fully develop in my chest. I always felt so self conscious and embarrassed because to myself I looked like a 13 year old boy in a bikini. It was a running joke between my friends and Me. I lost count of all the consultations I spent money to go to for the last 5 plus years but did not feel comfortable with either the staff or surgeon. It wasn't until I went to Dr. Patels office and finally did what I always wanted to do. The receptionists up front are just a joy and so friendly. When I had my consultation with Jennifer (Dr. Patels assistant) and Dr. Patel, they probably took 45 minutes or so. They went into detail about everything and anything! It wasn't an in and out type of consultation like I was used to. They made me feel so comfortable and made it seem like I was the only one in the office! (Although I had to wait good 35 mins to see them as their office is super busy). You can tell they have passion in what they do! Jennifer even gave me her cell number and told me to call her if I had any questions before or after surgery. I told them exactly what I wanted and they delivered. Not too big and not too small, they are perfect for my body! After surgery they checked on me and even scheduled multiple appointments to see the progression with Dr. Patel. I'm currently 4 months out of surgery and I feel amazing! The scar is minimum and no more boy body! This has been one of the best decisions I've ever made especially choosing Dr. Patel and staff. If I had to do it all over again I would in a heart beat!

My decision to move forward with a mommy makeover (tummy tuck and breast augmentation) came easily, in thought. But really, I was extremely nervous about surgery, as anyone might be. I had abdominoplasty with hernia and abdominal wall repair and was a nervous wreck at first; but they all let me ask as many questions as i had and never complained about my persistence. I had 4 consults with the top plastic surgeons in the area. I had several challenges that I was trying to find the best surgeon to treat me for! I had a mild sagging after breastfeeding two children ( but did not want a breast lift) And another request I had was that I wanted my BA via transaxillary incision. All 4 surgeons did not offer transaxillary breast augmentation. But wanted it since I did not want to have any scars on my breast tissues ( even slightest or faded). Dr. Patel is simply the best when it comes to transaxillary ( he does all types of incisions, but I think he lets his patients decide which one they want). My scars under my arms are absolutely undetectable! And I am only 3 months out. He tried two different sizers/temporary implants on operating table and selected one that looked best and because that's what I wanted in our pre surgery discussion. He also did my tummy tuck for me and I cannot believe when I look at myself in the mirror that my body looks like when I was before having kids. And I had no drains! just Awesome!Two health professionals recommended me Dr. Patel-- the RN who had tummy tuck with Dr. Patel and an anesthesiologist, who is family friend.My recovery was as expected. I love my new breast!! And my tummy tuck area looks amazing! my tummy tuck scar is fading nicely but Already wearing two piece bikini this summer as my scar is below my bikini line.Dr. Patel is a great surgeon. Having Plastic surgery and getting an extensive breast lift and augmentation was never something I ever thought I needed to consider as I was always happy with my breasts. I had been a D cup until I recently lost 65 lbs and realized I was now faced with extremely sagging smaller breasts. I wanted the best plastic surgeon in Chicago and surgeon's reputation were high on my list of things to consider. I turned to my girlfriend who just 3 years ago had a breast augmentation & nose job done by Dr. Dhaval Patel. She loves her results and highly recommended Dr. Patel. So...I went for my consultation and I was sold! The entire staff at Dr. Patel's office has been nothing less than professional, discreet, supportive and informative. Each visit was prompt and encouraging. Dr. Patel did an exceptional job in walking me thru the process, explaining the process of the breast lift, the various implants and their pros and cons as well as the healing process so I can make the best decision for me.. I chose a 400cc gummy bear Implant and a loli-pop shaped lift?. Surgery center staff was great too. My recovery as less than a week. I am couple of months out and I am extremely pleased with my results. My lift scars very fine and hard to see even though it's only been couple of months.Now I am considering getting my tummy tuck to get rid of my loose skin and fat from by belly and hips area.Thank you Dr. Patel for your wonderful care. I highly recommend Dr. Patel if you are considering plastic surgery in Chicago area.Tip: if you are sensitive to painkillers and narcotics, consider anti nausea patch and oral tablet that Dr. Patel gives. Dr. Patel and his staff are so awesome. I was new to the area and found him on google and Realself. The office staff is very friendly and not pretentious or hoity toity like some offices I've been to.Michelle is his injector who does Botox and fillers and I HIGHLY recommend her. She took her time, making sure it was perfect. She's really sweet too. I'd had filler done at two places previously and while I was happy with the results, it didn't really look much different (especially $600 different!). Now they look noticeably fuller but not 'duck lips' at the same time. Michelle called it a pout. :-)I also had a breast augmentation with lift and tummy tuck with Dr. Patel. I love my new body and can't wait for summer to get here. He is truly a down to earth, honest and gifted surgeon. I am very happy with my choice and recommend Dr. Patel to anyone in Chicago area. Now, my out of town mother is scheduled to have her eyelids done with Dr. Patel as he does them in office with simple numbing medication. I am very excited for her too.
