***Addendum to review***Bring a bra with you, no matter what size you are, to try on the implant sizes, some dresses and tops you can try on over the increased implant sizes inserted in your bra for a better idea of what Dr. L can tell you what looks best and why. Also, whatever size you like and feel comfortable in, go at least a size bigger! Speaking from personal experience, I was told by multiple friends who'd had breast augmentation to go a size or 2 bigger than the implants they loved in the office, but I didn't listen and was super disappointed after the swelling subsided. I also highly recommend the new gel silicone implants. They're slightly more expensive, but if you're gonna do something, do it right. My initial & current implants are filled with normal saline (aka, salt water). The same thing they start an IV on you for at the hospital if you're super dehydrated. The problem with saline filled implants vs gel silicone, is that the saline slowly seeps out of your implants via osmosis over time. So, definitely no bueno and not worth it. Plus, the new silicone gel implants look and feel more natural, & you don't have to worry about your breast size decreasing on a yearly basis! I'm a nurse and wouldn't write any of this unless it was a result of personal experience and about to go for round two with a surgeon I respect and trust. I hope this helps someone out there who isn't sure what to look for in a surgeon and has an idea of what they want, but isn't really sure what they want and what they need to bring to their consultation appointment.So, I had breast augmentation in 2006 & was lucky enough to find an amazing plastic surgeon. Now that I've moved about 8 hours North of where I had the first procedure, I was lucky enough to find Dr. Lindsay Sturm she is very thorough, takes the time to explore options with you to achieve the most desirable results for your body type, & what you want to achieve to make you more confident in your own skin. And let's be honest ladies; only another female can be truly honest with you about whatever problematic areas on your body you want enhanced to be your most beautiful self! My procedure is scheduled for the beginning of next month and I'm not nervous at all because this doc is super talented and has an amazing receptionist (shout out to Suzie)! Just check out the work she's done on her website! I've already referred 2 friends to her who are making appointments! Dr. L is officially my plastic surgeon until her work is recognized and ends up moving to Los Angeles and starts helping celebs fix their botched plastic surgery jobs! No, seriously though!

First of all, I wanted a woman doctor. I have always been this way. For some reason the majority I could find we're men. I feel that a woman knows what a woman wants. I came across Dr Sturm and decided to go have a consultation. I will admit I was a little nervous at first because she is so young! I was thinking how has she even went to medical school yet?? However, she assured me that she had total confidence. She was very professional and flexible for me. I only have great things to say about her and her team. She called and checked on me after surgery several times. Very nice woman. I would recommend her to anyone.

The minute I walked in to the office, I was welcome and comfortable. Kelce put me at ease from the minute I met her. Dr. Sturm really listened to what I wanted, and she only suggested something to think about. There was no pressure to add things I didn't want to do. She didn't even pressure me to schedule my procedure that day. I left after the consult with two quotes and plenty of time to think about it. The day of my procedure, Dr. Sturm was with me through everything. There was a slight issue with my blood pressure in recovery, but she never left my side. She personally showed my husband how to care for me, and she even helped me get dressed when it was time to go home. She called and texted my husband throughout the days following my procedure, and gave us both her personal cellphone number to get a hold of her if anything happened. My procedure and recovery went better than I expected! I would recommend Sturm Cosmetic Surgery to anyone I know looking for any of the services they offer!
