If I could choose zero stars, I would have. I originally scheduled a consultation for a breast reduction in December, and when I showed up for the appointment I was told that he was running behind. I had another appointment, so I rescheduled for today. I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment and was told that he wasnt there yet, so he would likely be running a few minutes behind. Ok. Fine. Whatever. 45 minutes later, I told his receptionist to let him know that Ill be finding another surgeon. Just because you make more money than I do, doesnt mean my time isnt valuable. Then the receptionist says, But hes here now. Good, then you can tell him where to shove his 45 minute wait time.

Freakiest office I have ever been to. No windows. Receptionist/nurse was nice enough, but looked/dressed like a hostess in a 50's nightclub. Never saw another patient. Doctor talked into recorder the entire time. Never to me. Weird. Never again.

Dr Vander Zee is a Great Surgeon. He is very compassion and took time to listen to me. he has changed my life and has made me feel so much better about myself. gave me back my confidence. I would recommend him to anyone and often do.

I told him at my last follow up appointment, I know its just another day at work for you, but you have changed my life, and I couldnt be happier with the results. Absolutely the most unprofessional plastic surgeon ever. I had some work done on my stomach I asked him about something I was concerned about and his comment was 'are you going to make me wish I hadn't done this procedure on you'. a client of mine had him do a face lift and he messed her eye up so badly that she couldn't even close it. She had to go to Iowa city to have it fixed. It's time for dr Vander see to through in the towel and retire!!!!

I live in Des Moines and called to ask how much they charge for implants. They told me $4400. So I made an appointment for consultation. Once I got their I was told $6200. PLUS I also had to pay a consultation fee. I walked out never to return.
