I had to have surgery on my wrist after it had been broken and healed wrong. I didn't know it was broken so I didn't have a cast put on. So I had a plate and pins put in. That was in 2017. I hear people complain a lot about the pain that comes and goes but never fully goes away after surgeries like this, not particularly the wrist. I don't even notice mine. It doesn't really limit my activities, no pains, it's literally like it never happened. Dr. Wynkoop was amazing! I didn't want to do the stretches in the beginning, they were a little hard right after surgery because it brought on a little bit of pain. I'm glad he was firm with me about it, I think that's why I had such a great healing process. He was nice and he was honest. Some people don't take it well when doctors are honest with them, but I think that's necessary for the best treatment and I think the best doctors are the honest ones, not the ones who sugar coat. If I ever need another surgery (pray that I don't) I wouldn't want anyone else to do it. Thank you, Dr. Wynkoop!!

Dr Wynkoop,Angie and Angela were heaven sent for our family. Our mom dropped to the ground March 20th of this yr with 2 fractured femurs and he did surgery and took such great care of her.She just came home with hard work and Dr Wynkoop and Angie ,Angela and others that we can't thank enough. Mom is home and trying to get back into independent living and she is determined to succeed. Dr Wynkoop we love you and Thanks.

My mother had a very serious condition where she broke both of her femur bones. It has been six months since she had the surgery with Dr. Wynkoop. Everytime we have a question and call he promptly gets back to us and addresses our concerns. When he explains things to us it is always in terms we understand. Great experience working with this doctor!

Had to get a plate for a broken clavicle. Dr. Wynkoop did a great job. Everyone complimented his job when they seen the xrays. I wouldn't recommend anyone else or would want anyone else to do surgery on me. It's been a very good experience and I couldn't be happier with the results

Dr. Walker Wynkoop did a wonderful job on my wrist surgery! Fell on the ice, fractured both sides and shattered in the center. Had surgery the day after seeing him, a plate and pins put in. Had very little pain and started exercising it the next day! I'm grateful to have had this skilled surgeon. He took time to explain everything and set me at ease about the surgery. Good bedside manner and kind. I am very satisfied and definitely will recommend him to others!

I was referred here to treat as my attorney's recommendation for a workers compensation claim. I was treated for orthopedic knee and back evaluations. I was treated by Dr. Wynkoop, but rarely seen by him. He made everyone else do his work for him... He was not the one giving me care, prescribing meds, and treatment. The doctor was the wizard who was never once seen in the office. Save yourself a great deal of trouble and worry. Run, from this place!There were times I waited over an hour for a five minute appointment, in which nothing was accomplished by the PA's working there. Save yourself the trouble. There are other very good orthopedic doctors out there that do want to help their patients, but not this doctor, sadly.This doctor does a good job at his work, but thinks he is GOD and everything he does will have no long term effects on his patients. Then he trashes his patients in their medical records. No bedside manner at all, very 'matter of fact' and doesn't accept any feedback that a patient is still in pain a mere few months after a major surgery and passes them off as fine. Do NOT go to him if you want a compassionate, honest and helpful doctorThe doctor completely disregarded my pain. He lied on a number of occasions of 'requesting treatment' for physical/aquatic therapy and medications that he never actually sent for approval. I would consistently state that I was in pain and beginning to become depressed as a result of my condition and he ignored me!No referral, nothing. I felt powerless in the situation, hopeless. The worst however, was when he discharged me from care because he simply stated, 'Well, I can't do anything more for you.' No referral to physical therapy, psychiatric doctor, pain specialist, no tests or MRIs ordered, nothing to actually find out what was wrong with me or what my initial condition was. I was given pain meds and sent out the door. This doctor gave up on me and sadly I am still in the same condition.
