I was referred to Dr Kobbermann for a stereotactic biopsy. Within the week her staff got me in for a consult. I was nervous about the procedure and Dr Kobbermann answered all of my questions. She was warm, genuine and reassuring. Dr Kobbermann has access to the imaging table weekly, so there was no waiting on someone else to call and get me scheduled her staff put me on the schedule right then. She did the procedure herself (as opposed to a radiologist). The biopsy was painless and quick. She told me exactly what was happening throughout. The staff and tech at OPRMC womens imaging were also wonderful.

I have been a patient here for years. Just recently, I encountered a VERY unprofessional appalling experience. I was scheduled for biopsy procedures after having a Mammo and Sono. I was incredibly nervous and had experienced bouts with anxiety due to the situation. While talking to the tech (prepping) for the procedure; she kept referring to one of the two procedures. When I asked for clarification; she stated that this is the only order that was received. I did not know that Dr. Kobbermann had came into the room until she announced that she was about to insert a needle to numb me. HOW INSENSITIVE?!?!? I asked her about the second procedure and she responded ' I am not worried about the findings'. I receive a call from her NP days later to schedule me for THE SAME PROCEDURE. Once I explained what the doctor's response was to me, the NP wanted to confirm this. Sure enough the NP called back and said that she definitely wants to schedule me for the procedure. I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!!! Imagine my emotional state of mind. I was all over the place prior to the initial procedure and then to be told that I need to return for another. I was so upset with this facility! I no longer felt a sense of comfort with them. The trust has been destroyed! I scheduled the procedure to be done but, not with Dr. Kobbermann. The NP (Rachel) scheduled my follow up appointment at this time with her and explained why (which made sense why this doctor does not follow through with her patients). And guess what happens after I have the procedure done (by another doctor)? I go to the office to have the follow up with Rachel and SHE IS NOT THERE! I was told by the (very nice) Front Desk lady, that the appointment was rescheduled. It was not rescheduled by me. #beware

Sadly, I have never even met Dr. Kobberman so my review is of her admin office. I have never been quite as disappointed as I am right now in the unprofessionalism and lack of attention to detail that their office and especially the person(s) who answers the phone have shown. I scheduled two separate appointments in their office in the span of a few months. Due to the incompetency of @Imaging for Women (Northland) and the inability for Dr. Kobbermans office to receive my imaging via iCloud I was unable to meet w/ Dr. K and rescheduled. Prior to that appointment all new patient information was filled out and given to their office. After waiting one hour for records to arrive and subsequently leaving the office I called back to reschedule another appointment. Upon checking whether they had received all the records needed for my appointment via iCloud, they showed that had not received them nor did she show any evidence that I had ever been in their office before. Considering the nature of the appointment I hope that someone recognizes the frustration and delicacy of dealing w/ women who could have life threatening issues who just need to feel like someone has their back, offer solutions, etc. not completely turn them away. Thank you for making my decision an easy one to schedule with a different surgeon.

I agree with the last ladies post about office not being great. Made an appt for them to tell us we didnt have it on the schedule either. Also , the receptionist tried to downplay the seriousness of why we were there. Coming from a medical background I really do not appreciate her trying to tell me something is 'JUST this or JUST that' someone who may have a new cancer diagnosis is not 'JUST THIS'.

I have been there a handful of times and have been very pleased in every way. The wait times are pretty short compared to other doctor's offices. Love the everyone that works there!!!! I always leave in a great mood.

Dr. Kobberman is great. Office is not. Made an appointment only to find out they didnt have it scheduled.

Overall I have had great experiences with Dr. Kobbermann, however office staff is horrible, rude, unprofessional and unfriendly. If Dr. Kobbermann wasnt such a great physician I would 100% switch to a new doctor to avoid having to deal with her current office staff.
