I went to see Dr. Bortnick for a consult about a tummy tuck and he explained the tummy tuck and mommy make over options. I was highly pleased with the amount of detail he put into his explanation and provided me with all my options. I also liked that he didnt throw at me the most expensive option, rather the BEST option for me. I am going to go through with scheduling my tummy tuck with his office! His staff and nurses were wonderful, professional, and answered all questions I had. I cant wait for the outcome!

Dr. Bortnick is an amazing surgeon and has a very warm bedside manner. He came so highly recommended by one of his his peers and by someone I trust that I drove 8 hours just to have him do my surgeries. Yes, I liked my first experience so much that I had him do another. Both exceptional experiences. I felt very prepared and informed during every aspect of my both of my experiences. I was also blown away with how little pain or discomfort I felt post-op. His nurse/assistant Jamie was incredibly helpful and kind as well. I Highly recommend Dr. Bortnick And his team. When I have a third surgery, he will be my surgeon again.

Through the process I have made multiple phone calls to the nurses and they have answered my questions and were very reassuring. When I had additional questions for my upcoming procedure they scheduled me an additional consultation. Dr.B himself has been very professional, reassuring and patient through the entire process. He is a very talented surgeon with an eye for details.I highly recommend the entire practice.

I have been amazed with Dr Bortnick and his staff. From my first consult with Dr Bortnck I knew I was in good hands. His passion for his profession and patient care is held at the highest level. His nurses were there for me. They encouraged me to please call if there was anything that I needed. I have never called a doctors office to speak with a nurse to have the nurse answer the call or call you back quickly, however, these nurses do. You can tell they love where they work. I highly recommend Dr Bortnick.

Saw this man years ago. Still haunted by the experience. He gave me a botched nose job and then blamed it on me having 'unrealistic expectations'. My nose was better before he worked on it. He didn't even remember what surgery he was supposed to be performing until the day of the operation when I was already hooked to an IV. I should have taken that IV out and run away at that moment. He and his staff are very unprofessional and snide. His nurse at the time was incredibly rude and unsympathetic. He is an arrogant, pompous ass. Once he has your money, he couldn't care less about you. Post-op care was pathetic. Stay away from this doctor! Trust me!

I am 51 year-old woman, and I was thinking about having a facelift done for a couple of years before I finally got serious about it this past winter. I completed my online research to find the right doctor and found Dr. Bortnick. From the start Dr. Bortnick put me at ease. He took a look at my face and made several suggestions without being pushy. In addition to the facelift, I had work done on my eyes, my cheeks, and my chin. He answered all of my questions and was there all the way through recovery. The results were great and to my fullest satisfaction. I didn't have any complications and felt completely taken care of. I can only recommend Dr. Bortnick!! I would go to Dr. Bortnick with any plans for future plastic surgery!

I was approved for a breast reduction through my insurance 'Tricare' and Mr. Bortnick still wanted me to pay up front for my covered procedure. He says it's because he has never had a patient who has Tricare and was worried they wouldn't pay but I honestly think he has not worked on many, if any African American women and is afraid of what the outcome of his work would be. He tried to convince me that I would not be happy with the scarring due to keloids being that I'm an African American woman and I told him I wanted to go through with the procedure anyway. I feel like this is his last ditch effort to turn me away with this ridiculous excuse of my insurance not paying for the procedure when even his receptionist said she got the authorization from Tricare. I wish he would've just said he didn't want to perform my procedure instead of taking the cowardly way out. I'm sure I will find a more suitable Dr. within these next few days who will gladly accept my insurance that absolutely covers these procedures. Also, I called Tricare myself and they confirmed that they would cover the full amount of the procedure. A responsible Dr. would call the insurance company for confirmation which Mr. Bortnick obviously did not do. Military wives, stay clear of this man.
