I made an appointment with Mid America Orthopedics this morning 7-7-2020. While on the phone with the scheduler she began asking questions related to Covid. One of the questions was, 'had I been in contact with a Covid positive person in the last 30 days', to which I answered yes. She then asked how long ago that was and I said it was over 2 weeks ago, and that I had quarantined for 14 days under the direction of my primary care physician and CDC guidelines, with no symptoms. She explained that would not be a problem and that I would be asked the same questions again when I checked in for my appointment in the afternoon. Well I tried to check in today for my appointment and it was a BIG problem. Even though I adhered strictly to the CDC guidelines for possible exposure under the guidance of my primary care physician, and even though it had been 16 days since my potential exposure, and even though the person I was exposed to did not show signs until 4 days after I was with them, the Doctor at MAO I was supposed to see would not see me until 30 days has passed. Now, I don't understand why MAO isn't adhering to CDC guidelines, and really it doesn't matter. What does matter is that the front office staff is very disorganized. Had I been told MAO was not seeing anyone potentially exposed to Covid for 30 days I wouldn't be writing this post, but that is not what I was told and now they have wasted part of my day!

Dr. Do is always so kind and helpful; I saw him for the first time 3 years ago and followed up my surgery with pt at the west office. (Highly recommend; just make sure you give as much notice as possible if you're going to need to miss an appointment)I'm needing a second surgery, and Dr.Do explained everything to me very thoroughly, his bedside manner is even better than before, (I didn't imagine that was possible) the only drawback is, they don't have a facility that takes my insurance for surgery right now, but they're working on finding me one; fingers crossed they find one soon so I can get some pain relief!

I've had several appointments at every location in Wichita and Derby, my biggest complaint is there is NO respet for the patients time, or how long they sit in a waiting room waiting to see their doctor, they overbook their appointments making their patients wait unreasonable amounts of time just to get to the room, only to have to wait again. It's difficult to respect a doctors time when they dont have any respect for mine. Don't get me wrong I understand emergencys for other paitents, but this is not the case it is EVERY TIME I HAD AN APPOINTMENT! It's not just one doctor, this seems to be a common practice for MAO. In my opinion ... go someplace else that will respect your time.

DO. and his office and thus far everything is great it has been 3 months since the injury and I am 40+ years old and overweight.

I am so impressed with Dr. Livermore. Two days before Christmas I fell down my stairs and broke my wrist (Distal Radius Fracture) I saw Dr Livermore the next day and on the morning of the 24th Dr Livermore preformed surgery and I had a plate and 8 screws put in. I have had the best experience with Dr. Livermore and his amazing staff. He has the best upbeat attitude of a Dr. I have ever been around. My appointments are always on time and no waiting . I was lucky he was the Dr on call the night I went into ER. My injury is coming along really good. Update: I am coming along really good I am in physical therapy now. I wanted to give another review on Physician assistant Brain Zerger , he has the best attitude and he assisted Dr Livermore with my surgery and I have a lot to thank this man for. They had to cut through my tattoo for my surgery and Brian Zerger took the time afterwards to actually piece it back together lining it all up as of today 2/11/20 you cannot even tell I had a surgery on my wrist. If I could give more then 5 stars for these two I would.

Fantastic group! My husband has had knee and shoulder surgery and experienced great results. From the front desk, to surgery, physical therapy, to billing: he was well taken care of. And I've personally been seen by Tammy Harper, APRN- who is just phenomenal! I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat!

The Facility is nice, the PT staff is great, not much to complain about as far as the actual surgery. However, the problem I had was, after having surgery done late afternoon on a Friday he sent back to work early on Tuesday. While at work I was in a huge amount of pain. Had trouble driving and moving around...Tried to take the pain meds that were prescribed and was violently sick and vomiting at work. The meds also made me super tired. Called Dr. Do's Nurse to ask if she could talk to the Dr about giving me a day or 2 off of work to recuperate. She firmly stated 'No, he doesn't do that.' and 'you can take Motrin if the pain meds make you sick.' She also sounded irritated to even have to field this call. I wonder if he would have 'done it,' had I stated from the beginning, that I would only agree to hire him and pay him thousands of dollars, if he would give me a Dr.'s note after surgery.

First off I'd like to say the physical Therapy team I had was INCREDIBLE....Dane, Lee, and Corey are amazing guys that really helped my shoulder a lot. However, the clinic does have a policy that must be followed about missing appointments. Miss 3 you're done. Not only three but you must give 8hrs notice if you're going to miss. Things that require immediate attention at work don't always allow 8 hrs notice. This happened twice. I received a phone call saying if I missed another, they would no longer treat me. Well now I missed again due to getting diagnosed with pneumonia and going to the ER (I didn't call and give 8hrs notice.) I'm no longer accepted for treatment at that facility. Policy seems a little off kilter to me.

Patient confirmed with receptionist the proper phone number and the office failed to call that number and then waited two hours to call the right number causing surgery to be pushed back two days. Then the initial appointment has taken over two hours. RIDICULOUS!

Dr. Pat Do is a great doctor and surgeon, both technically and personally. Some of the staff really drag down the rating, particularly in efficiently and ACCURATELY handling the medical insurance filing. Several problems with proper code entry resulted in delayed MRIs and wasted trips to this end of town (waste of my time, esp. when I have to take off very busy work schedule), and improper diagnosis codes that the doctor did not order, causing problems back at the original referring clinic. I would go back to Dr. Pat Do again, but just need to keep a close eye on the paperwork, hope the staff files properly, and double-check codes before traveling to every appointment (a process that takes experience unfortunately).

I had been seeing Dr. Caymey since June 2015 after my car accident. After 3 years of accepting his rude conduct and 'I don't care' attitude I still went to see him because the medication he was prescribing was working on my back. I advised him about my current situation which was I was still in pain and he kept referring me to other doctors that would just prescribe 5-10 medications that don't help. I asked to return to Dr. Caymey to put me back on the medication that did help and he refused. Leaving me in pain. I was very upset that they refused to help a patient who is asking for help and turn their backs on me. What is the point of being a doctor if you're not going to help your patients who are in pain and go to you for help?! After 3 years of sucking my insurance, you would think they would treat me better. Guess not.

Absolutely terrible they put fake smiles on and do nothing. I waited 1 week for my mri results they were supposed to call on Monday they didn't, i call on Tuesday they said will call back they didn't, i went in person NEXT Monday they said sorry. Nothing is explained you have to ask and wonder about everything. I called 2 other times with questions left a message, they DON'T CALL BACK. Next day i call they say oh, really sorry.When i get in the room a nurse with gloves on is looking at me unwrapping my leg and struggling DOESN'T EVEN OFFER TO HELP. Why is she there? She didn't touch me, but put gloves on. Then the doctor comes in, average time with him is 2-3 min if you lucky and nothing is explained, he is in a hurry to leave while saying, Oh you have so many good questions.Yes i do because you haven't explained a thing. Then he says go up front for follow up app. the woman up front askes what are you coming back for. I have to explain everything what part is sick and what I'm coming back for, this is front desk. I left the dr. Office 1 min ago. There is more but i have to make notes to remember everything, keep in mind that I'm in PAIN to SEVERE PAIN while most of this is happening. If you have any other options i would take them it will be hard to underperform so much.UPDATEI had complications and had to see a different doctor on Wednesday, and my first physical therapy was on Tuesday. I called the friday before to ask should I do the PT, because nobody explained or contacted me for 3 days to tell me, they said skip Tuesday the doc on Wednesday will clear you for PT.He did. I called AGAIN to let them know and confirm my Friday PT, they said sorry WE CANCELLED ALL YOUR PT. We can get you in 2 weeks. I had scheduled PT for Tuesdays and Fridays for more than 2 weeks. I had to call couple of times VOICE MAIL, no call back. Went in person NO RESULT skipping my PT on Tuesday. THEY MAKE MISTAKES AND DON'T FIX THEM INSTEAD YOUR HEALTH SUFFERS.

Been there several times and have good experiences and not so good experiences...sometimes more than an hour wait and also they recommended my daughter get a brace and sent us somewhere but didn't give us a drs note so we had to wait and it took forever!

Told me to come in 30 minutes early to do paper work that took 5 minutes and then didn't finish checking me in. After waiting an hour they told me my doctor left and I had to reschedule. Which is pretty crappy. Won't be going back.

I had the worst experience at this place with Dr. Cayme. First visit I could already tell he didn't care to much about my well being as he was short and rude about the conditions I had previously been diagnosed with in Haha. As he told me to continue med was previously prescribed yet chamged one thing. When I was informed he would have to be the one to go to for more pain meds after contacting the prev doc. When I made this request they denied it stating I hadnt informed them I needed pain management which I clearly did verbal and in my paperwork. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone!
