Receptionist line is ran by very unsympathetic lady dragon who talks to you like you are a slave from the 1800s. And refuses to answer any questions and if you repeat a questions she just pretends to not hear your voice anymore and then politely hangs up the phone while your trying to talk.

I recently visited the clinic on 310 s. Hillside. Upon my arrival i waited to be called and it only took no more than a minute. I completed the required information and was promptly called to the doctor's office. Doctor Thakor was wounderful. He explained everything to me in detail and was very courteous. Special thanks to Charlene and Jaime for their help. Everyone at the reception desk was wounderful. Thank you much

26 June 2020 updateI am updating my review and going from 1 star to 4. I cant rightfully give Dr. Le and his amazing staff 1 star just from one bad experience. 6 months later and Im still under the care of Dr. Le for still having difficulties swallowing. Dr. Le is an amazing doctor and he has seen me through all of this. Sierra, the speech pathologist, is amazing at what she does and really takes pride in her work. Dr. Le and Sierra (along with the rest of the staff that I encountered) were very knowledgeable, attentive and patient with me. I am very thankful that I was/am under their care. Thank you Mid-Kansas ENT!Was having problems with my tonsils so I went in to get a tonsillectomy scheduled. The staff were nice and professional. Doctor Le was very informative and tentative to what I had to say in return. He performed the surgery excellent. I would give the doctor, staff, facility... everything 5 stars. I am giving 1 star because of the scheduler being unprofessional. It almost made me call my Doctor for a referral to a different office. Long story short it took her almost two weeks to contact me to schedule my surgery. Long story not short - My exam appt was on Nov. 26. I was told that the scheduler would call me later that day if not the next. Was not called either days. No call thanksgiving Thursday or Friday(which I understand). Fast forward to Monday, I call the direct number for the scheduler and no answer so i leave a voice mail. No return call on Tuesday. First thing Wednesday I call again. No answer I leave another voicemail and then call the main line. They say they cant schedule me so they sent a email over to her to contact me. No call back for Thursday. Later that day I call again leave another voicemail and my girlfriend did the same. First thing Friday morning I call the main line and tell them if you do not schedule me today I am going to a different office. Luckily it was the manager and she got ahold of the scheduler and she contacted me later that day. Then she wanted me to wait another week and a half for my surgery. ElOhEl. After some words i got it scheduled for that Tuesday. Finally. As stated Doctor Le was awesome and performed the tonsillectomy great!

I was sent here on a referral from hunter health clinic back in July I met with Dr Thacker he seemed informative but when it came down to schedule the surgery after I was cleared it was poor service never got a call back after calling about a week and half then I got in touch surgery was surpose to be around August 7th or so .lady said she would call me back and never did here it is December 16th and I'm still having issues .since the scheduler was unprofessional about her job it has made me feel fearful to reach out again and it has made me second guess doctor s ability to perform my surgery just cause the in professional ways of the scheduler I don't know if this place is consistent or if they are professional enough to even be considered

Horrible service. Dr Bunting spent about 2 minutes with me and made no effort to find out what I was even in there for. He looked at my hearing test and said it was nerve damage and couldn't do anything but go in for an MRI anyway. Umm, I went in for the popping in my ear every time I swallow, not the hearing. Pretty sure its my eustachian tube. Cutting my losses here and finding a Dr that isn't just trying to pump as many patients through as fast as possible.

We had to wait for doctor Hawley in Newton to be seen. After paying $162 upfront as a self pay client. I was seen for less than 15 minutes. My concerns were not at all listened too and my problems were not even addressed. If you are a self pay client I suggest going elsewhere. Even after mentioning the pain I was in I had to ask for antibitoics while we were walking out of the room. He couldn't be bothered to sit for even 5 more minutes to send the prescription to the proper pharmacy. All those years in medical school he must of missed the the class on bed side manner. This is why people want healthcare for all. We were basically ripped off.

I need to see an ENT doctor urgently, however, having read some of the reviews I am terrified to go there, can soneone recommend good ENT doctor please. Looks like the receptionist is a rude dragon. I don't want to get my head bitten off.

I guess I expected a different experience. Seemed like a lot of people were waiting to be seen. Its hard to find parking. One nurse asked a question and it came off rude. I gave her the benefit of the doubt since it could have been bad phrasing. The doctor wasnt any better. I assume they dont read files because he asked me questions, some of which I had no knowledge on and presumed our doctor sent over paperwork. Then made a joke suggesting my kid keep their mouth shut because they were crying. Dont know how this guy thought this was the field for him if he cant be around children. Also doesnt help that the room was loaded with surgical equipment so it was within arms reach of a child. Extremely dangerous.

I agree with some of the other reviews on here. Dr. Hawley is amazing. His scheduler is awful. Her voicemail, which is a rudely recorded message, says 24 hours for a call back. I called Tuesday and still haven't received a callback on Friday. I'm working on finding a new ENT. Hopefully one where there will be communication with me and I can get something scheduled.

The only reason I am giving this place a star is because I have too and because the doctor is amazing... other than that I will never come back to this place. The receptionist are so rude! Anytime they call me they have a horrible attitude and make me feel stupid. None of them smile or even strike up a conversation when you go in. They seem like they have much better things to do than to help someone. If I was the owner or manager I would get rid of them, maybe hire someone who cares. They were rude to me every time I went in, I pushed it off as they were having a bad day but every single time? Anyways, if you want to be treated like youre stupid then this is the place for you. 5 star for the doctors but -5 for the rude customer service team.

Dr Ben Hawley was fantastic. However, I found the scheduler to be uncaring. She asked me if it was okay if she called me to make an appointment for surgery. I told her that it would be fine and I understood. I also told her to call my office number because I do not have access to my cell phone. That was on a Friday at 2:30 pm. Fast forward Monday. By that afternoon no call. So I call no answer leave message. No call back. Call again couple of hours later same thing. Missed call on cell phone from her. Tuesday call early morning no answer. left message. Moral 5 messages NO CALL BACK. NOT ONE TIME DID IT GET ANSWERED> Experience with Mid Kansas Ear Nose and Throat went from a 5 to a 2. Now I am not sure what to think and am ready to call the VA and ask for someone else.

Dr. Bunting has worked on 5 out of 6 members of my family. Three of my kids he has worked with twice each. He gathers the facts, weighs which options would be safest and best practice for the current situation. The wait times can be lengthy but, Dr. Bunting and his PA, Christy are worth waiting for.

Dr. Gabriel De la Garza is one of the rudest doctors I have ever be to. My son saw him and he didnt even know why we were there after being referred to him by my sons speech therapist. He was rude the whole time and seemed put out by the therapists suggestion of Botox on his vocal cords. He also made zero attempt to help my son who is wheelchair bound onto the table and back to his chair. Just rude.

Rude is an understatement. The receptionist obviously tried to shame me for 'cutting' a lady in line, when I'd been there and was waiting to hand back my paperwork. The girl who checked me in saw me standing there and motioned for me to hand her the clipboard in my hands. Rude receptionists lead to a poor experience. But obviously this office doesn't care, and they have a huge volume of patients apparently. The doctor spent less time with me than it took to fill out the paperwork. How anyone expects an accurate diagnosis from the amount of time he spent with me is beyond me. He also walked from my appointment, where he held my tongue (with a piece of gauze), straight in to another appointment room. I really hope he washed his hands before and after my appointment.

Update: 2 extra stars for the office manager! I called and spoke with her right after my experience. She scheduled me for a before-hours appointment to ensure that I was seen in a timely manner. She also said she would speak with the reception area staff to ensure that they can handle issues in a more efficient manner.********************************************Ive seen Dr Kubina for off & on for awhile. Hes quick & helpful so he gets an A+. The support staff needs work. I had an apt last week that could not be completed. The audiology testing department was very backed up nearly 2 hours. So they rescheduled me for a quick in & out today. I arrived on time, even called ahead to make sure they were on schedule. They had misplaced paperwork that was filled out on the previous visit, refusing to check me in until I filled it out. I waited 40 minutes. Asked the desk assistant to call them & find out why a 10 min test was now 40+ min behind. She could not locate my doc, his nurse, or ANYONE in the testing department. The poor girl attempted many times. I did not need to see doc before test & they were to book me specifically for the audio testing 1st. Nobody knew what they were doing. I left. MY TIME IS VALUABLE.

I dont normally review places. Yesterday I had deviated septum surgery by Dr. de la Garza and OMG! I havent experienced any pain yet but this man has given me the gift of being able to breath through my nose better than I have ever remembered!!! He was professional, kind and approachable. Thank you so much for this amazing feeling!!

Great Service starting from the front desk, to the assistants whom do the intake, doctor and the ladies in the back who you see after the visit. Dr. Hawley was AWESOME! Got me in and out in less then 20 minutes and I did not feel the least bit rushed! Also were nice enough to stock me up in ear drops to get me through the weekend until my perscription arrives Monday Definately will recommend

Rudest receptionist ever! Clearly she hates her job and wants to make everyone miserable! They tell you your appointment is for 1:00 then when you arrive early to fill out paperwork expecting to be called within a reasonable time only to find out your appointment is for 1:15 they ask you to arrive early to fill out paperwork . Oh really? No one asked me! Didnt get called back till 20 min after my real appointment which was 35 min after they told me to be here. Now Im just sitting in the room waiting for the doctor and so far thats been another 20 min. So basically, if you come here, you will be treated poorly and pay them to waste your time! Find a better establishment! Youll be glad you did!

After Dr. Bunting straightened my septum, and helped me get past the worse sinus infection, he helped me get setup with their allergy program and now my immune system is working so much better. That was in 2015. My asthma is under control now. I'm very thankful to Dr. Bunting and his PA Christy Sidwell.

As I sit and wait for an hour I have nothing better to do than leave a review. So far my receptionist was friendly but nothing as far as above and beyond. I was told my appt. Was at 2pm. I made it early 1:45. Filled out my paperwork took 5 minutes. 30 minutes later I asked why I am just sitting here and the receptionist told me my appt was at 2:25 and they ask us to he here 25minutes early for paperwork (that took 5 minutes) I have watched a lot of people come and go but they were only in back for 3-5 minutes. Finally I got sent back at 2:50 doctor came in right before 3... honestly if the doctor was not decent as he was I would have stormed out.... they eventually told.me.the doctor overlapped an appt that took longer than it was supposed to so I asked what they would have done if I was over 30 minutes late... she advised me they would not have seen me.

I wish I could give a zero star review for this place. Absolutely the worst experience we have had dealing with doctors. I had surgery there to fix a deviated septum and the results were terrible. I am still dealing with the same issues I had before they charged me thousands of $. Recently, we were referred to them through our family physician to put tubes in my sons ears due to chronic fluid and ear pressure issues. We had already been to this office 3 times before to get help without success. There are few ENT options in Wichita, so reluctantly we went back. After arriving at the office for the initial consultation, they could not find the paperwork from the family physician, so they decided to do hearing tests on our 3 year old, who is in pain and has had ear issues for quite some time. Needless to say, it didnt go well and they refused to help us until he successfully completed the hearing tests. They just said sorry and stood there doing nothing. I am outraged by by their lack of caring, professionalism and their complete joke of bedside manner. These doctors are lazy and seem to have no interest in helping people or empathy for their patients. We visited an ENT in a nearby city and my son will have his tubes put in within the month. Steer clear of this place, they are incompetent and uncaring.

I do not usually post review but I should do it this time.I planned for my son's surgery in August for November 22nd, 3 month ahead of time. Referral lady called me at 3 pm the day before surgery saying that my insurance denied coverage. I planned for everything for his surgery but had to change. Boy very organized clinic. Wouldn't go back there.

Met with doctor to discuss my sleep apnea and the sinus pressure problem been having for years and was basically told could not do anything for me a I would have to live with pain. Stuck a prob up nose to look at my sinus on one side to see where I had surgery done by Navy and said had narrow opening and he could see where I had surgery. Also said the deviated septum is still not totally corrected. But said would not benefit from anything. Thanks Doctor for all your wonderful help. Wasted time and money. Felt like I was in a cattle run as fast as he was in and out. Never disused anything else with me. Rich

My mother, who does not speak fluent English, had a horrible experience there. She does speak and understand English however. The doctor never spoke to her directly (questions, instructions, etc). He just gave directions to the nurse I think based off of his exam which was not well explained to my mother. The office staff was extremely rude and told her that since she was on medicare, that her wait would be longer. If she wanted to pay an additional $45, her wait time would be shortened.

We brought our 4 year old in with a fractured nose and we were advised surgery was an option to potentially prevent future aesthetic problems. After our insurance authorized the surgery about 10 days later we were told it was no longer an option and we would have to wait 6 weeks before we could further discuss options. Multiple messages were left in the preceding days with no response. Completely unprofessional behavior for anyone in a customer service profession, let alone a healthcare profession. Would not recommend and have no intention of ever utilizing them again.

The office doesn't answer their phone. They ONLY allow you to leave messages, and when you do, they don't return the call. They SAY that they'll call back within 24 hours, which is ridiculous already but they don't even do THAT. It's rude and unprofessional for them to expect people to have their schedule in limbo while they take FOREVER to return a call. When you DO finally get someone, they are curt and arrogant! Too Much Hassle!!!!

We had an absolutely horrible experience with a female PA at the West office. There was no question, she does not have children of her own. She did not interact or address our child one time, who was in a lot of pain at the pain and very upset. We were amazed at the lack of bedside manner offered by her and needless to say, for children, we will never use this office again..
