Im am lying in my bed recovering from surgery yesterday June 13th! I havent seen my results yet but I wanted to share my experience from my very first email , my consultation and the day of my surgery! A staff member contacted me after my email to schedule my consult appointment right away! I went in for my appointment and was so nervous . Jen was the first I met and she was AMAZING! She made me feel comfortable and at ease. When I saw Dr T and his nurse Brandy they were so down to earth!! Awesome bedside manner! On the day of surgery EVERY staff member was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! From the anesthesiologist, nurses, assistants, and anyone I may not have met once asleep!!! Thank yall so much! Prior to surgery, Dr. Theunissen took the time to understand what I wanted fixed and discussed realistic expectations with me as well as the importance proper preparation on my part leading up to surgery. On surgery day, there were no surprises or worries, only positive vibes and confidence in a successful surgery. Post op is where the real work comes in on these procedures because tummy tucks are not for the faint of heart or weak stomached. Dr. T and his staff were there every step of the way - encouraging, supporting, staying on top of my recovery. I broke my nose early last year and Dr. Taylor Theunissen did a FANTASTIC job with the two surgeries he performed. My nose looks perfectly straight like nothing ever happened!There is nowhere else I would go to have any type of cosmetic surgery done. He and his staff are exceptional. Years ago my mom was in a horrific car accident and he was the only Dr. that could help her. Every bone in her face was broke he had to cut her ear to ear pull her face down and fix her and put plates etc.. I can hardly rem it bc it was a scary time for me I had never dealt with anything that serious. To be honest I felt like I was in another world but he still was incredibly sweet to me and my mother and he did a amazing job!!! I was referred to Dr. Theunissen for a DIEP tissue flap breast reconstruction from a friend in Lafayette. After having problems with my silicone implants post breast cancer diagnosis, I decided to contact his office for a consultation about the flap surgery. He and his staff were extremely professional and helpful about planning my surgery since I currently live in Lafayette. It has been almost two weeks post surgery, and I am very pleased with my results and how kind he and his staff were to my family and me during this procedure. Even though my Lafayette area has outstanding surgeons that are highly trained with breast reconstruction after breast cancer, I highly recommend Dr. Theunissen and his staff.

6 years ago I had my face fractured in multiple places. The day I met Dr.Theunissen I thought ' this guy is younger than me,no way' when Dr.Theunessin came into the room I was immediately consoled with my concern before mentioning it. He must have seen my concern. His response was younger doctors are more up to date with procedures and leaving less scars etc. He in no way put down his peers,just politely made that statement and I couldn't be happier. My mother could not find a scar and if I didn't tell someone what side of my face has screws and plates holding it together they wouldn't know. Thank you Dr. And your very helpful staff. Sorry it took 6 years to thank you! It's not easy to maintain a 5 star review. You deserve it.
