My experience at the Bengtson Center was nothing short of wonderful. Dr. Alfonso performed breast augmentation surgery in June and he and his staff made me feel welcome and comfortable from the moment I had my consultation, up until my most recent visit for a post-op check up. I have experienced virtually no pain after surgery and the entire process was easier than I ever could have hoped. From a young age, I have lovingly looked at the women in my family, seeing the turkey neck regardless of their weight and have always known I didnt want that to be me.With this in mind, I had consultations with several plastic surgeons in GR about chin liposuction and the Bengston Center and Dr. Alfonso were the obvious choice. The entire experience from the initial phone call, to the consultation, to the surgery, to the follow up was nothing short of exceptional. Im admittedly a super critical person so trust me when I say, I cant think of one thing that wasnt knocked out of the park.To add to the complexity, my surgery was scheduled right when the lockdown for COVID started. Though my surgery had to be rescheduled three times, they kept me informed and let me know my options. They took extreme care to protect me and their staff, requiring a COVID test, taking my temperature twice prior to surgery, and opting for general anesthesia at no additional cost to me to keep me safe. Another thing thats important to me is health at every size principles, and I encountered a TON of weight bias and judgement at other plastic surgery offices. Dr. Alfonso and his team looked at my entire health picture and never once shamed me or dehumanized for my size, something I truly appreciated. After the surgery, recovery was easy and all of the nurses were so kind I appreciated that immensely because my husband couldnt be with me because of COVID precautions. That night when I was at home resting, Dr. Alfonso called me to checkin, another thoughtful touch!I am a week post-op and so happy with the results, I needed to take Tylenol for two days after but have been totally pain free and just had my checkup where Dr. Alfonso said Im healing beautifully. This is truly a life changing surgery for me, and Im so thankful for the entire team at the Bengston Center!

For the last couple of years I have been noticing my hair seems to be thinning and I wanted to stay on top of this before it got too bad. I did a lot of research into different treatment options and had numerous consults at other practices to see my options and get quotes. When I had my appointment with Katrina, she broke everything down that I needed to do to not only keep what hair I had left, but also get back what I had lost already. She explained to me that hair restoration takes a lot of time and patience but if I stick with the treatment plan, I will start seeing results. We started with light therapy and PRP treatments along with proper at home hair care products and supplements. I am happy to say that after only 6 months of being on the regimen she started me on, I have not only stopped losing my hair but have seen an increase in the density also. I no longer am able to see my scalp peeking through at my hairline and can not wait to see even more results. What once was my biggest insecurity I no longer give a second thought. Take it from me and don't even bother going to other places, the Bengtson Center is where you need to go!

My first impression of The Bengston Center was relatively disappointing. As with any medical office, the receptionist plays a vital role in contributing to each patients experience during their visit. Upon entering The Bengston Center for my appointment, I was not welcomed by any of the several receptionists. Behind the counter were about five employees; one employee appeared to be checking a patient out, another who appeared to be giving a patient information, and a couple other employees who appeared to be scheduling appointments for patients. It felt like chaos. Not so much what I was expecting for my first experience. While one employee was on the phone and several other employees appeared to be either caught up in their own work or tending to their other patients, I felt lost and overwhelmed. There was no welcome or acknowledgement for quite some time. I went ahead and had to ask someone standing next to me where to check in or whom to check in with. A reminder for any professional office- the front desk receptionist personnel can either make or break someones experience in their facility.

I went for a hydrafacial with Luba and it was so relaxing! My skin was glowing afterwards and felt and looked rejuvenated. Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful. I didnt feel rushed in or out and I was able to relax for a moment afterwards with a cup of coffee. My first time visit today was not impressed in my skin felt worse than before I was coming in. I receiving my first Hydrofacial done by Sue. My skin is now red and bumpy. I follow up with a new recommend skin care products. I start using it tonight when I apply on it felt sting and hurts. she was a little aggressive on my skin even I told her my skin with a little bit insensitive side. During a treatment post it wasn't and relax at all or paintless like i was told. Here are some few pictures of my skin look like after treatment!

Had my breast augmentation August 1, 2017. It was a bit of a journey. Only cause of all my worry along the way. Went from a small B to a full C. It was painful day 2, but got better every day. I did a strenuous hike in Tennessee 8 days later (6 mountainous miles). Was back to a very physical job 14 days later. Ice is your friend!!!! Anyway, would do it over again a million times! Dr. Bengtson put me at ease every step of the process. At first I took it as he didn't understand the gravity of the situation... soon realized his calm was because of his own confidence in his experience and results. The results are flawless. It's a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. If I need work for any other reason in my future...I know where I'm going!

I LOVE my new tummy! I'm a mom of two and had stretched and saggy skin around my middle that no amount of exercise was removing. After much research and consideration and at the high recommendation of my friends scheduled my surgery with Dr. Brad Bengtson. I had a full tummy tuck and liposuction of my inner and outer thighs. I am angry about what feels like a 'bait and switch' office payment practice. Bengsten Center contacted me to let me know my Brilliant Distinction coupon was about to expire and to come in. The office person who I spoke with told me I could use that coupon along with my banker pre-purchased botox and gift cards. When I tried to apply the BD coupon, they would not let me, saying I'd have to pay cash instead of using the money banked with them. I felt scammed.
