The Petoskey office did an excellent job of prepping the office and screening patients as we venture forward from the pandemic. The staff was well prepared. The check-in process went very smoothly and the appointments seemed to flow efficiently. Always great care from this office!

The staff was friendly, but I dont feel my concerns were taken seriously. It seemed to me that their answer to everything is to freeze whatever looks suspicious...I still had the same area on my face as two years ago when they froze it, but it was larger and now painful. If freezing it two years ago didnt help, why just do it again? A biopsy (along with a better explanation) was in order!

Only place I go for my skincare needs! Lisa is absolutely amazing, I know I can always get what I need from her whether it be dandruff, pimples, or a mole I need reassuring about shes always happy to help! Ive been going to her for about 11 years now even though she herself has moved from building to building and I could never imagine seeing anyone different.

This practice has gone so far downhill. We have all been patients since the days of Dr. Charles (boy, do I miss those days). The practice now is just terrible as the wait for appts is months and if you dont go in a certain period of time, they dont even consider you a patient anymore...ridiculous when my history with this clinic goes back 20 years. There are far, far better dermatology places in Michigan...I wouldn't return here.

I arrived for my 11:00 am appointment to be told that DANM had my appointment scheduled at 11:30 am - no previous appt. confirmation call, claimed DANM was switching notification systems and it was 'glitchy' - After waiting the extra 30 minutes, I was called in very close to 11:30 and following some preliminary questions, proceeded to wait another 10-15 minutes until the Dr. came in to see me. The Dr. was very apologetic for the circumstance and performed my examination thoroughly and quickly.

I went to them for a year & they couldn't figure out what my bumps were. They did a biopsy & it said bug bites. I went to a different doctor & she took one look at me & knew I had a bacterial staph infection! She put me on antibiotics & the bumps were gone in 4 days! I went to dermatology for a freaking YEAR & they didn't know what I had!?!? Never going there again!

Terrible patient service. You cannot talk with someone at the actual office to book appointments, they make you call a national hotline, or online booking service. They really put out the feeling that they dont care.

Tina Crook - a great provider! I was all but ready to leave D.A.N.M. because of their changes in staff and policies, but today they had me seen by Tina, and she is one of the original staff members. I had melanoma years ago so I'm at high risk for recurrence. I go to Dermatology Associates for screening twice each year to make sure no new melanomas develop. They provide thorough and timely care. I like my doctor and all the staff I've met.

It took almost 3.6 months just to get an appointment. Whoever they used for my biopsy and pathology report was out of network leaving me with a big bill. That would have been nice to know ahead of time. I also needed to know what stage my Melanoma was for AFLAC and they told me over the phone it was Stage 4. It was a Clark's level 4 and I found that out by obtaining the pathology report and reading up on it online. To go from Stage 4 cancer to a Clark's level 4 was the difference of night & day. Maybe someone more knowledgeable should give those results to patients.

My visit to Dermatology Associates went very smoothly. I was lucky and caught a cancellation so I was given an appointment immediately. Everyone was very friendly and helpful from reception to exam. The Doctor was professional, efficient and took the time to explain my options. The aesthetician was also a big help and I will be visiting her for some skin treatments.Dr Cotter removed a basal cell skin cancer with the utmost precision and expertise.

Great visit for my first time here. Very professional, knowledgeable staff, not much time waiting in the waiting room, not much time waiting in the interior room. My only complaint? I would have liked a written review of what was discussed, and less repetition of the basic information, as I had to fill it out online, and twice on paperwork once there.

(She said she is calling corporate, and hung up on me).... This was because I asked them to submit this claim to Medicare. I paid them cash, which was fine, but "please submit the claim for me." Jamie told me they did submit it, but Medicare told me they received no submission of a claim for a growth removal. "If Medicare doesn't pay for code submitted, that would be fine", I said. There's no place in this world for such treatment from two employees.
