Dr. Schlachter came into the room a genuine hour past my appointment time, & said nothing. I was there for upper eyelid swelling. I showed her photos of the swelling, as it wasn't swollen the day of the appointment. Her response was a sarcastic 'you think that's swollen?'. I have seen three other doctors that have acknowledged the swelling. She then went on to tell me what I was talking about was from aging, and that my eyebrows had clearly dropped on my face. I just turned 28. I've never seen a doctor of any sort with such lack of bedside manner. She was extremely rude the entirety of the appointment, which was about 3 minutes. Unless you have nothing better to do all day than to sit around & wait for someone with zero regard for your appointment time and are interested in plastic surgery, 100% go elsewhere. Worst $30 I've ever spent.

I had an issue with a mole near my eye which led me to seek the advice of a surgeon. The first surgeon suggested that I visit Consultants in Ophthalmic and Facial Plastic Surgery but also encouraged me to get a second opinion beforehand if I felt unconformable. A friend recommended a second surgeon who also endorsed that I visit Consultants without hesitation. My first visit couldn't have been better - the office was beautiful, the staff was compassionate and educated, the Physicians were the best of the best, and the entire process was as painless as possible. I didn't know this until I researched the practice a little further but - when it comes to this specialty (surgery near the eye and generally around the face) the Physicians at this practice literally write the book. If you have any surgical issue near your eyes or generally on your face (drooping eye lids, a rip in your ear, or a mole like me) then there is only one practice to visit and that's Consultants in Ophthalmic and Facial Plastic Surgery.
