Because of Dr. Humphrey and Dr. Deisher I am melanoma and squamous cell cancer free!! I have had five (4 melanoma) skin cancer surgeries, and every time I call, they schedule me for a consult and set up a treatment plan the next day! I will always trust Heartland Plastic and Hand surgery with all my skin cancer treatment. Dr. Deisher, Dr. Humphrey, the nursing staff, the office staff, and Silver Springs Surgery Center are the best. Thank you for the timely excellent medical care you provide!!

Check your insurance before going here. Heartland Plastics was Tier 1 for me but where they do the surgery was tier 2(down the hall). Big difference in the deductible. Also, office staff does not inform you of the costs. Although they knew what my insurance was, as they had their hand out for my 20 co-pay. Dr Humphrey refused CANCER surgery until I paid them MY RENT for the month. No warning or explanation of the surgery cost, had his hand on the door during my consultation. This was not an elective surgery. I will not ever go back to this place. Worst place!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

Phenomenal work! My consult was very informative about the entire process. Dr Humphrey did great surgery. The surgery center reception staff are my only complaint. Their professionalism and communication were both lacking.

I have suffered the past 13 years of my life with a condition called Gynecomastia. Enlargement of male breast tissue. In my case caused by a hormonal imbalance during puberty giving my chest the contours of a FEMALES breasts starting when i was 12 years old. A condition that typically goes away on its own with time. Unfortunatly in my case it never went away and im now 25 years old. My condition worsened over the years. Making me afraid to take my shirt off around anybody which means no swimming. I havent been swimming in 9 years. People would look at my chest rather than look at my eyes when they would talk to me and that is a horrible feeling. I wouldnt even take my shirt off when im by myself except to shower because I hating seeing my chest. I was so tired of being a man with the chest of a female. So I met with Dr. Stewart Humphrey and his staff at HPHS to see what i can do about fixing my condition. Humphrey and his staff are very respectable and answered all the questions i had to ease all of my worries. I went through with my surgery 5/22/19. I went in today for my follow up visit and i could not believe my eyes. It turned out even better than what i could have ever dreamed. I am currently getting teary eyed as i type this because i can finally be confident with my own body for the FIRST TIME in my adult life because of Dr. Stewart Humphrey and his staff at HPHS. THANK YOU SO MUCH. You changed my life. Big 5 STARS. They stand by their word when they say they strive for excellence!

I've been going here for various things since 2007. I've always been pleased with my experiences with them. Recently I had upper and lower eyelid surgery with Dr. Deisher, and once again I'm very happy with my results. Dr. Deisher was very knowledgeable and I felt he listened to my questions and concerns. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well. I did 'interview' other plastic surgeons when I knew I was going to have these procedures done, but I'm glad I chose Dr. Deisher.

Everything is explained fully in the consultation, including any possible side effects. He then stops and asks you for any questions that you may have. The anesthesia consult with Bob Bauer was thorough and comfortable as well. I truly felt that I knew what to expect the day of surgery. The surgery went very well and the outcome exceeded my expectations. For these results, I would do it all over again.

The staff and Dr. Deisher are amazing here! I had a breast augmentation in June and just close to 4 months later the scars are nearly invisible. I could not have asked for better results! I never had to wait long in the waiting room before getting called back for my appointments. The surgery staff were also great. The nurses made sure I was always comfortable and they were so friendly! At all of the follow up appointments the one on one time with the Doctor allows you to ask any questions and you don't feel like you're rushed in and out the door. I would recommend everyone go to Heartland Plastic and Surgery! Thank you for such amazing results!

I just seen a commercial with Dr. Humphrey , saying that he stands behind his work and if you are not satisfied he will make it right .........well yes he will with a additional cost. He done my surgery for breast augmentation a year ago...I had one breast larger than the other, and he said he could fix my problem. Well, all he did was put in implants that were smaller than I wanted, and a lift on the bigger one, and guess what......when I got the bandages off, One side was STILL bigger than the other. I paid for the same thing that I had already, except for a lift on one side. I kept telling him that I was NOT happy......he made a comment that I had so much FAT, they he could lipo it out and fill it in....he would not correct HIS mistake for free....(why would I pay him for his mistake???)NO...that is NOT what I paid for. Then he got real aggravated and said it would cost me around $4000 more to 'fix' it. I already paid around $8000 for a botched up job....Oh and FYI, the woman who comes in the room with him as he examines you IS NOT A NURSE!!! So If you are considering breast augmentation, I suggest you go to Missouri Plastic and Hand Surgery...Dr. Tobin fixed my deform, and botched job that Humphrey did......AND if I would of went to him first, I could of saved around $2500. And also that 'scar cream' they tell you at Humphrey's office that you NEED, they add it on your bill for $100, you can get the EXACT same thing on Amazon for under $20. So I suggest you get a second opinion from what Humphrey tells you....go see what Dr. Tobin has to say. Also Humphrey has NO personality, and Tobin has a GREAT personality.....

On April 28, 2015 I had the Full Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) with Fleur De Lis surgery with Dr. Humphrey at Heartland Plastic Surgery center and the Silver springs surgery center. I had a great experience with my surgery. From the first consult to now the entire staff was wonderful. Everyone made me feel very comfortable. I am very satisfied with my surgery. I feel Dr. Humphrey did a excellent job. My scars at 6 weeks out look very good. After having the surgery I had minimal pain, I only took a total of 4 pain pills that he had given me. The only thing I didn't like was that brace outfit you will have to wear for the whole 6 weeks but I made it through that. ha ha.Over all it was a great experience and I will be having my next surgery sometime in late Sept. or Oct. I would recommend this surgery and Dr. Humphrey to any one who needed it done.

I have had extra skin on my stomach since I was 17 years old (when I had my first son) I was very small (98 lbs) and gained 60 lbs. For the past 11 years I refused to show my stomach to anyone, like a prisoner in my own body. I tossed the idea of a tummy tuck around for well over a year but was a little intimidated of the cost as well as having a surgery which I had never had any procedures done before. My consultation was very informative as to what I needed done, I had two options to choose from and went ahead and chose to do the tummy tuck with lipo on my flanks. I was able to schedule the surgery right then and there and only had to wait about 40 days, which was way sooner than I expected . My pre op appointment explained everything that would take place on surgery day, I cant lie I was terrified! Day of surgery I was so scared I almost passed out twice when Dr Humphrey was drawing on my stomach! Yes, just drawing on me-Thats embarrassing . I was pushed back to surgery, its cold in there!! we had a conversation and I was out.... When I woke up in recovery I was shocked to not really feel much pain, I wasnt sick from the medicine, nothing ... Except happy! The next couple days went by.. still very little pain (Although trust me you dont want to sneeze or cough) I only needed the pain medication for 3 days. The worst part of the beginning process is the fact that you can not stand up straight which puts a major strain on your back and those drains.... are extremely annoying but doable, I just looked at it as I was trying to smuggle tupperware under my shirt. Day 5, my first post op appointment went great.. I was ready to go back to work, I work in an office, in a chair so I was able to get approval for that. I did however start back at half days just to work myself back into the groove but the following week I went back to full days with zero issues. Day 13, Second post op appointment I was finally able to get the right side drain taken out, the weirdest feeling ever but definitely not painful at all. Everything looked fine and I was able to almost stand up completely straight. Day 20, third post op appointment... left side drain gone (FINALLY) 100% able to stand straight, a little itchy but I figured that. Im finally able to apply the scar gel and now am sitting here at my desk on day 21 with a marble in my belly button to help shape it.... which I find to be hilarious but not uncomfortable at all..... So all in all if this is something you are considering..... Dont be afraid... Just go for it... Dr. Humphrey will for sure give you the best results... I have to keep pinching myself because I just can not believe that in only 3 weeks after surgery I have the stomach I have and it will just continue to get better with time! (OK. I definitely teared up typing this)
