My understanding is Dr Kaplan died . Chris who is Dr Kaplans wife, office manager is being unethical by not contacting the patients ,I want my money returned in full no exceptions. I have spoken to other plastic surgeons and they confirmed its an unethical type of practice, Chris made me feel as if out of the numerous grands I already paid I was under the impression surging would be preformed , Im just finding out Dr Kaplan has passed away . Surely he must of malpractice insurance for these claims (Im sure Im not the only one. Attorney General and state board of nursing will be next if not resolved this week. Chris said by this time next week she will have my money returned. I am sorry for her loss but I too have a severe mental disability along with pseudo tumor cerebri and have been waiting on neuro physician to approve me for surgery. I will wait until February 4,2020 to get all my money back . The other plastic surgeon suggested to contact Attorney General and state board of Nursing if its not resolved by February 4,2020. Also because of the mental disability I feel like Dr Kaplans wife is going to try and brush me off as incompetent which I hope is not the case. The other plastic surgery specialist definitely said they cant steal from me . Its taken a great while to save. Thanks for reading and if yun know anyone in this same situation you will need your paperwork. Also if you have to sue to get money back and you of course will win you can ask for your attorney fees be paid by Chris Kaplans business.

My wife went to them and was talked into $6000 of liposuction before I had time to research and object. I found out she was not a good candidate for this being over 100 lbs over weight at the time and saw virtually no results because of it. 9 lbs of weight removed but after rehydration and healing was more like 4.She was then told she needed to go on a diet after surgery to see resultsShe was going to have gastric bypass done before seeing him and had the surgery approved and a date set. Would have been half the cost with insurance. .

I chose Dr. Kaplan to be my surgeon after a couple of other consultations, due to the personal one on one time he spent in our first appointment , as well as answering all my questions (there were many!). Chris' direct and no-nonsense approach, gave me great confidence in their team! I worked with Dr. Kaplan and Chris on 2 occasions. Once back in 1983 and again a few months ago. Both experiences were nothing less than excellent. Very professional and courteous. Dr. Kaplan takes you through the steps one by one and is very careful to make sure you understand all the dynamics. He, along with Chris, hold your hand the entire way to make sure you are comfortable and satisfied. I hope to work with them again one day in the future!

I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Kaplan and his staff. They did a wonderful job on my breast augmentation and I couldn't be happier. Horrible. This guy is egotistical and deceitful. In my experience he was a real snake. He messed up some of a procedure and then insulted me openly when I complained. His prices are cheap, but you get what you pay for.Edit: No. I have the right Dr. Kaplan. I tried to be kind to him, but in my experience he was a real narcissist.

I would, without a doubt, recommend Dr Kaplan and his staff!! They were not only extremely professional, but made me feel comfortable about my surgery decision. I have searched Kansas City, St. Louis, and Columbia for plastic surgeons. Every time I did, my mind would shift back to Dr. Kaplan. Why? , because he's been doing this since the 70's! So I 'bit the bullet' and decided to have my free consultation with him. My husband and I really got to know him and his work, as he was very informative about his career in plastic surgery. During my meeting with him and Kris, I knew right away these were the people I wanted working on me and in fact we scheduled the tummy tuck and liposuction that following week (so excited they were able to work with my crazy, full schedule). I have no idea how he compares to others as far as cost, but I figured with this type of work you get what you pay for and I believe experience trumps anyone that is cheaper. My operation went smoothly and the pain wasn't bad at all. My aftercare with Dr. Kaplan and Kris has been amazing as I feel I can call any time with questions. Take my advice and look no further, I promise you won't be disappointed.

I had my first visit today and loved my experience with Dr. Kaplan and Chris. Chris performed a facial peel and it was awesome! I had Botox from Dr. Kaplan and I can tell you the experience is completely different than what you experience at the 'well-known' places in Columbia. For the first time I really felt like the visit was all about me and not that I was only there to get a 'quick' Botox in between the 'real' patients the doctors are seeing. Dr. Kaplan personally spent time evaluating 'MY' facial structure and muscle movement to determine the correct injection spots and amounts needed. I did not feel rushed and felt like he really cared that I got the results I was looking for. I highly recommend Dr. Kaplan. I know in reading other reviews there may be concerns regarding bedside manner. My experience was they were friendly and direct. They don't tell you what you 'want' to hear but what the 'evidence' reveals as well as their experience reveals.

I got a mommy make-over, tummy tuck and breast augmentation. My right breast was over a full cup size larger than my left. I was told my breast wouldn't be 'PERFECT ', however I am ESTATIC with my results! I love them and all of the new colthes I can wear now! I have horrible stretch marks from two pregnancies, which didn't bother me, but I had a pocket/bag of sagging skin at the bottom of my stomach that wouldn't go away after 10 years of exercise. It's now completely gone and my abs are tighter! Can not wait to heal so I can work out again and tone up my new and confident body!

I am very pleased to have run across Dr. Kaplan's office. I have dealt with excess skin and cellulite issues for the past nine years of my life, with little to no change from rigorous exercise and dieting, but now I'm happy to say that is no longer the case. I had a breast enlargement done almost 2yrs ago, first of all they put in a larger size, 2nd he cut a nerve in my left breast, 3rd my right breast is literally almost under my arm pit, and 4th he either has a disease or something cause his hands shook so BAD that I refused to go back, so now I have to pay another plastic surgeon to actually get them to look any better, and Chris, his wife privately messaged my cause I refused to pay the balance, and asked me, did I remember telling her that the man who was with me(my fiance) had molested my child, I swear I have no idea what she was talking about, I am still with him and my kids were 22 and 23 years old, an if a man has even touched my girls, I would be in prison, and he was in every appointment that I went to. I was happy with the results of my surgery, but I have two complaints. His wife, who is also his surgical nurse, was a B**ch. She was so rude, and I heard the same complaints from other clients. Also, I was referred there by a friend, and was told (I specifically asked) that she would receive a $100 referral check from them if I had the surgery done there. Despite many, many calls reminding them of this, my friend never received her $100. The receptionist would always say that Dr. Kaplan's wife would be the one sending that check, yet she would not take my calls, or return them. I would never deal with that office again.

Do not go here unless you want your money stolen and to be lied to.Botched surgery and once they have received your payment they will not respond to your questions and concerns. I am not filing a dispute against them. Dr.Kaplan has resigned from the Boone Medical Center and I was happy to learn that because I do not want any other women to go through the horrible experience I did but then I found out he has another office in Columbia. STAY away from it at all cost. The $1,000 OFF coupon is always up and if that does not alarm you then I do not know what will. Basically you get what you pay for and when it comes to your health and body ladies do not take a discount operation.

Walked me through the process before surgery of what to expect and did a fantastic job on my BA and TT after having four c-sections and nursing. Loving my results just 7 weeks now after surgery. I was referred by my best friend to Dr. Kaplan!! He did an AMAZING JOB on hers. So I came to Dr. Kaplan all the way from Wichita Kansas (5 hours away) to get my procedure done! It's 3 weeks post op and I'm soooooooo HAPPPY with my results! Kris and her fellow nurses and staff was amazing! The facility they used in Moberly was so clean quite and wasn't busy and rambunctious and overwhelming. It was a great place and the focus was all on me. I would do it all over again. I recently had a breast augmentation on June 8, 2016. I have read all the reviews and make no mistake about what I have to say! Negative reviews may be from competitors who want nothing but negativity for Dr. Kaplan and his wife Chris. The website is offering a $2,500 discount which I did receive for my breast augmentation. Dr. Kaplan also during the surgery proceeded with making sure I received more than I requested during my consultation. My breasts are awesome!!!!! My daughters in Florida were amazed how well the procedure went and how professional Dr. Kaplan and his office was. I have no complaints! The Surgery Center for North Central Missouri in Moberly, MO was well equipped with up to date technology and the staff OMG, there are never words which could describe the extreme professionalism I received. And yes as stated, Chris and Dr. Kaplan are married, but make an excellent team! Listen, you can't please everyone all the time as there are really some difficult consumers who just complain all the time about everyone and everything. My coworkers are very impressed and I will be returning for Liposuction as well! Make an appointment and take advantage of the discounts as they truly save you money. The costs from other plastic surgeons here in Columbia, MO are very costly. The price I paid was not even close to what the other plastic surgeons charge. You will not be disappointed!

I underwent a blepharoplasty surgery performed by and occuplastic surgeon in January that was basically a botched procedure. With my sons wedding coming up in April, in March I had large cysts on one eye and the incisions were so uneven between my eyes that I looked awful. I did not want to go back to the original surgeon so I contacted Dr. Kaplan and explained the situation to Chris. With 4 weeks to the wedding they scheduled me quickly and were able to remove the cysts and repair the damage done. I healed much quicker than the original surgery and looked so much better than I ever dreamed I could for the wedding. I felt care and compassion and was so pleased with the results. My husband told me if I needed anything else done, go to Dr Kaplan. I would highly recommend this wonderful team.

After having triplets I was left with less than sexy body ! I had hernias also ! I did a search of the internet and met Dr.Kaplan and staff I was impressed ! I loved that they cared so much ! After surgery they called to check on me to make sure I was ok every day ,After surgery I learned that my stomach muscles were about 6 inches apart ! I was not in too bad of pain but I took it easy , After seeing my stomach the first time I was so happy , I felt like I had my stomach back from before the baby's ,Now I don't have to worry about my fold of skin coming out of a swim suit ! I am a 32year old female and 6 weeks post-op. I am so amazed at my new breast size, shape and feel! I researched for a month before deciding where to do consulatations. The first was with Dr. Kaplan in Columbia. That was the only one I ended up going to. I actually put down a down payment to secure an appointment before I left that day. I ended up having a surgery date for March 1st, like 6 weeks after I met Dr. Kaplan and his staff. First impressions mean alot to me and I was very pleased and felt very comfortable with the decision to go with him. He described years of experience of himself as well as the experience of his nurse. When researching on the internet I was under the impression my experience would be like most others, resulting in months of waiting for them to soften, take shape and develop a natural appearance. I went into surgery at 137lbs, and a 36B cup. Like I said earlier i am at 6weeks and I cant imagine them getting any better. But they actually were incredibly soft an shaped so beautifully at about week 3. I got 500cc silicone on top of the muscle and am a size 36D-DD now. I am only 5'6'' and generally weigh around 125-135lbs but have a very curvy waist and behind so they really compliment my body type and shape. Everyone assumed with my very small frame that they would appear extremely round and fake with the size I went with but now everyone is so pleasantly surprised at the natural shape (hang) of the breast and the fullness at the same time. They are as soft as my naturals were and even though they are on top of the muscle, you cant see the round definition at the top as you do with many implants. Also they are so symmetrical and positioned perfect on my chest. When I lay down, they lay exactly as my naturals did (just much more full and definately larger!). I will consult with Dr. Kaplan if and when I ever decide to do any other type of work in the future! SOOOOOOOO happy with my results:)
