I had a wonderful experience in her office. Her personality is unlike any doctor I've met. I was told I was inoperable by a 'experienced' Dr from the city. I tried my luck here and she gave me more than a chance. She gave me hope and advice on what surgery options I should consider. I am normally anxious in hospitals but it felt like I was talking to a friend. I look forward to continuing to see her for my future appointments. Highly recommend

She is very personable and kind, The nicest doctor I've met. I know there are comments on here saying she doesn't take insurance but that isn't a reason to give her one star. Most insurances don't cover cosmetic surgery - and some practices don't take insurance. That shouldn't reflect on her reviews!

My daughter was under Dr Thakurs care for breast reduction surgery. The experience with Dr Thakur and her staff ( especially her nurse Patti) was outstanding ! She is the most caring and patient doctor that you could ever hope for. In addition to her wonderful bedside manner , she is an exceptional surgeon. She is a perfectionist and ensured that surgery and recovery webt well! This woman is amazing! My daughter is more than thrilled with her reduction and we owe it all to this phenomenal doctor!

I had an appointment with Dr. Thakur for 10/18. I received a phone call confirming the appointment, giving the address as Jefferson Valley, NY. The business card I have says her address is Carmel, NY. I was not willing to drive to Jefferson Valley as I was doing this on my lunch break. PLEASE CORRECT YOUR BUSINESS CARD WITH CORRECT ADDRESS, ETC. FALSE INFORMATION. The other thing is, the receptionist sounds like a sales person. 'We have all kinds of creams that may work for your situation', etc. I know Dr. Thakur has good reviews, I will never know. GOOD LUCK! Another thing, she didn't accept my insurance, which is GOOD INSURANCE.

My scars were thick, I didn't feel feminine . Then I meant Dr. Mrudangi Thakur. My world changed ! This gifted Special Plastic Surgeon redid my breast reconstruction, I am pain free ! and if you saw me in my bathing suit you would never know I am a survivor. Dr Thakur has the magic hands ! Her personality is unlike any Doctor I've ever been with, kind, gentle, sweet. giving, compassionate she listens ! If you need a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon look no further ! This is your Doctor ! I love you Dr. Thakur ! I feel like a women again ! Thank you !
