Me Oh My

I had a total knee replacement on 11/16/18. I can only say positive things about Dr. Wickline and Genesee Orthopedics! I had several pre-surgical appointments, 'joint camp', and several post surgical appointments at the Middle Settlement facility. I never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. The front desk staff was always friendly, even during the times they were obviously very very busy. Dr. Wickline's team was great, and Dr. Wickline himself was phenomenal. I never felt I was getting the 'bum's' rush'. My questions and concerns were always addressed in a way that didn't make me feel stupid or burdensome, and the staff always seemed happy. I would highly recommend Genesee Orthopedics and especially Dr. Wickline and his team.

I went there during one of their scheduled walk into times. There were people waiting outside the door to get into see the doctor an hour before it was closed. After finding an entrance inside the building, one of the nice nurses informed me that the doctor had left 45 minutes before were supposed to close.

I feel compelled to give this review. I went to Genessee orthopedics about a year or so ago & saw Dave Patalino. I had multiple symptoms ranging from carpal tunnel to cubital tunnel with a constant pain in my pectoralis area. The evaluation lasted about 5 minutes with me explaining my symptoms, no physical exam and his response was 'its not a musculoskeletal issue.' I felt so swindled since I had to pay for this appointment and disappointed that I met with another incompetent doctor who is legally able to practice medicine. Wholeheartedly, I believe my condition is related to musculoskeletal issues since I have been able to reduce my symptoms on my own, with my own research and persistence. Throughout my process of trying to find a diagnosis I met multiple incompetent doctors but this one is the worst. I don't know if they dismissed me and my symptoms because I am young and appear healthy but I would never recommend him to anyone who wants answers, a thorough examination and appropriate treatment. Find a more compassionate and investigative physician before ever stepping foot into this practice.

Waited over 2 hrs to be seen!! All the receptionist said was well you were an emergency so we dont know when youll get seen even though I was told to be here at a specific time! Asked if I should reschedule and was told no. So now I wait for who knows how long: 12 people have gone in since I have been where, 6 of them that came after mysielf. Very unprofessional!
