My annual exam at Rockland Eye went very well. There was very little waiting time. Precautions due to Pandemic were carried out. Technician was professional. Dr Weiss, whom I have seen over the years , explained the results of the various tests. I was very satisfied and pleased with the visit.

Friendly professional staff.All precautions for Coronavirus. Waiting room has social distancing. Rooms are sanitized after each room. Highly recommend Dr. Chen.

Very efficient office operation in the Covid19 environment. Dr. Weiss and his assistants were very thorough and they provided excellent advice on how I should follow-up with my home care to treat my Blepharitis condition. Most importantly, my painful symptoms were gone the following day.

My experience at the Rockland Eye Physicians office was very pleasant. I was greeted at the door and was quickly checked and then seated. I was spoken to and told about what to expect during this visit and what to expect in the coming days before the surgery. I read and signed some forms and was taken in immediately for required tests and eye measurements. I have been a patient for years. The doctors are great and the contact lens service is awesome but the office is badly run. I had a routine exam yesterday that took over 90 minutes with tons of 'wait here for the next technician.' I was also put in the wrong office and sat waiting while my doctor was in another office doing the same. It has always been this way. I have also heard the support staff in one office fighting with support staff in other offices on the phone. Since I value the professional services, I'm only knocking off one star for the lack of a good office manager.BTW the Crossfield office is the nicest by far, if you have flexibility.

Receptionist and staff are very friendly. Dr. Chen was great! He provides a very thorough exam, makes you feel comfortable, and answered all of my questions.

everything was being done for patients safety . temp. taken and hand sanitized before entering waiting room, where chair were spaced. all exams room were sterilized before patient entered. I was very impressed and felt very safe. Dr. Weiss is great!

Everyone was friendly, all precautions were taken to keep everything sanitized. Dr. Weiss was wonderful, I had shingles and since my physician only saw me virtually and I didnt get much info, he was able to give me a positive diagnosis and answer all of my questions and reassure my fears. The assistant was lazy ( unfriendly) and didn't perform basic task like measure ocular pressure. This is vital to older patient. Had to inform Dr. Weiss that was not done. It seemed the office was skimming the basic task. Beware what was skipped when the patient gets vital check up! Thinking find another ophthalmologist. Too bad.....

Fast and efficient service in clean and sparsely populated office. Should have better attention to telephone calls and responding to messages left at time of appointment and no acknowledging my presence outside the building.

The check process was slow and the attendant at the window didn't show any engagement. The lady at the door was the only one interacting with the patients while the others remain focused their computer screens and oblivious to patients waiting to check out. I sat and waited and if did not stand up and express my puzzlement, it seems that I would not be checked out. It was a rather unusual experience.

Took me earlier even though they were quite busy. The nurses and doctor were very thorough even though I only went for a DMV test, they made sure to really test everything and make me aware of all. Eyes are in great shape and now I have an appointment a year from now.

The office staff and doctors were; helpful, patient, and genuinely great folks. I don't live in New York, however, I was looking for an eye physician within my plans network. Rockland, Nyack was in my plan. Review and comments were positive, plus they had an actual website where I could dig a little deeper on their services. All in all I would recommend the Rockland Eye Physician- Nyack, NY office.

I went to Dr.Chen a couple of years ago for a check up because of vision problems. Tuned out I had a cataract in my left eye. It was taken care of with compassion, professional and timely fashion. I am surprised the reviews arent all five stars or at least four stars which is why Im doing this review. Im calling this week for an appointment for what I think is a cataract in my other eye. Im very comfortable making this appointment which is saying a lot since I value my sight, like everybody else, extremely high.

I have been a patient of Dr. Weiss at Rockland Eye for several years. I have found their examinations to be thorough. Whenever I had a question Dr. Weiss would answer it completely. I had cataract surgery on both eyes about 3 years ago. Dr. Weiss' follow up was excellent. I appreciate the care I have been given.

Had to check in at a Kiosk, exam was started by a very nice lady but not the doctor. I advised that I thought a doctor would do the exam. I asked why wasnt it as the the doctor she told me they dont do it that way any more. I waited a few more minutes then had to leave. Not a good experience.

I was 'denied services' to see Dr. Glen Weiss MD...I came into the office was told my medical insurance was unaccepted before that my appointed was scheduled by a woman at the office in advance once I had arrived at the Nyack location for the appointment I had to sign in I was told my card wasn't accepted and there was a billing problem lol smh at my appointment which was scheduled but not cancelled. I spoke to the Office Manager regarding the issue she repeated the same. lol smh She was very rude and spoke very loudly over the phone in an aggressive toneI only had one referral left after I spoke to my insurance company they said I was all set to give them a call back now they do take my my health card whatever the billing issue was it should've never stopped the appointment but at least I had one referral left for a new appointment...So today I spoke to a woman so called 'Lindsey' she said there is nothing she can do to schedule an appointment ...I asked her for the Office Manager she told me she is on vacation for 2 weeks...also that starting in June they won't take my plan...I ask Lindsey for another Supervisor she said there was no one else. I've been going to Dr. Glen Weiss for a few years never had an issue like this before til now....I now feel very uncomfortable about the customer service received by these two women. I was told i'm unable to use his services thru my plan...

Nice service

Although I visited the Garneville office, this is the same group and their billing practices are the same.Do not go to this office for any routine eye exams! They bill the exam as a medical procedure to your health insurance rather than billing them as a routine eye exam to your vision insurance. This left me stuck with a $40 bill for a routine procedure (refraction) that my vision insurance covers. I should not have to pay for a procedure that is covered under my insurance. I am extremely dissatisfied with this office's billing practices!

Had cataract surgery. Was promised that I would need no glasses or light prescription. After surgery on one eye, I noticed an overall decline in vision. Far vision had barely any improvement and near vision was much worse. Can no longer read w/o glasses in that eye. After my final eye exam, my prescription for the non operated eye was not correct with new glassesResponse to owners: WOW! This is not some botched oil change on a car, this is SURGERY! Your cavalier attitude about cutting into people's eyes is nothing short of incredible. There is a reason for the high cost of medicine, because we are paying for it to be done right the first time. The high cost of malpractice insurance that doctors bemoan is because wasn't done right. My out of pocket costs were over $1500 after insurance. Not to mention my time and the trauma of surgery. Would you go back to a doctor who under-performed on a vital organ the first time?
