Had a Squamous cell removed from my upper lip. I could feel the stitches towards the end of my surgery. Made an incision from the side of my nose down into my lip. Removed a dime to penny size chunk of skin from my face then cut about 2 inches long to tuck and sew. The stitches look tight. My major complaint I was left in pain and told he could not prescribe pain pills for me was told to use Tylenol and Motrin. Did not touch the pain. Would have to leave work early and self medicate. It's been a week now. The pain is more manageable now but still sore at the incision site. Was treated like I was a pill seeker.

Had work done by Doctor Rak back in 2007 he did such a wonderful job I sought him out to do my current surgery. He was was very caring and talked me through what he was doing. Till this day no scar and you can't tell I even had the surgery. Thanks Doctor Rak I will be to see you very soon.

I went to Dr.Rak for a mommy makeover, huge mistake! I did all my research for months and felt good about choosing him as my surgeon until the healing began and nothing was looking like I had expected, I didnt expect to look like a super model, I just wanted to not hate my body and be comfortable in my own skin. When I would try and ask questions he would just talk fast, was not helpful or understanding and leave me confused and more depressed. The worst part is when you pay someone a lot of money for cosmetics you dont feel like you can cry to friends or family because you feel like you did it to yourself, so you cry and suffer in silence. Instead of feeling good about myself for once in my life Im left more disgusted than ever before! He is too arrogant and conceited to admit he did a bad job and fix it so I would never recommend him to anyone and its a shame you have to give at least one star to leave a review.

A friend suggested I use Dr. Rak for a skin cancer removal. Although I had to travel a good distance to see him, I am totally happy I made the trips (for the removal and the post-op follow-up). Dr. Rak explained the process in detail before engaging in the removal. I felt completely at ease before the removal. He is upbeat and gregarious. His skill with the scalpel was amazing. I work as a mechanic, and I can tell a steady hand. Just like that I was done (and as time would show, with little scarring). He followed up with the biopsy later and examined me to see how the area was doing. As friendly as he is, he is also no-nonsense when it comes to his patients. He made it completely understood about skin cancer prevention in the future: cover up and a lot of sun screen. As well, his offices are completely modern and his staff reflects the demeanor of the doc: most friendly people in a Dr. office I have ever met. Springfield is lucky to have him.
