Dr. Hurwitz is not only highly medically and surgically skilled but also is an artist who treats his patients with compassion and absolute sensitivity and kindness. I had a facelift by him in 2018 and subsequently had multiple other cosmetic surgery procedures over the past two-and-a-half years. I highly recommend him without reservation. I just had a tummy tuck, bbl, and vasor lipo of my flanks on June 22 2020. Everything went great! No pain really at all. The staff was amazing! Especially Michelle, and Allaina. Im not sure how to spell their names. They made me feel so comfortable, and confident. 100 percent recommend!

I have difficulty finding a doctor I can connect with, and within 10 minutes of meeting Dr Hurwitz, I knew he would be a good doctor for me. After 2 surgeries for Breast Implant Illness, and many complications, I learned he's also a very good man! He not only listened to me, he HEARD me!This is rare in a doctor these days, let alone a prominent one such as he. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Dr. Hurwitz is a genius and master of plastic surgery.. i just had arms and tummy tuck and hip area reshaped and I am thrilled. Its been 2 weeks and no complications and very little pain and swelling. If anyone is thinking on having a procedure done....dr Hurwitz is the only one I would consider. I am absolutely depressed writing this review... Dr. Hurwitz performed my breast augmentation 5 years ago and they are absolutely perfect. Then, 3 months ago i went into Dr. Hurwitz to get my lips done. I paid over $700 for lips that i cannot even smile with because of how crooked they are. Then, i went back and complained and he hurried up and tried to fix them, but they still are crooked and did not let me talk about what he can do to fix them and try to make me happy. Now, I am paying another $600 for another lip injection somewhere else, for something that never should have happened in the first place. Absolutely depressing! It is like he did not even care that my lips were messed up. The picture upload is how he let me walk out of his office.....!!!!!

Dr. Hurwitz performed breast augmentation on me and I could not be more pleased! My rhinoplasty with Dr. Hurwitz, came out beautiful! The swelling hasn't even gone done completely and I'm already in love with my new nose! Dr. Hurwitz is truly an artist. I went in for a consultation for scar removal from a prior breast lift. Ive now had three surgeries w the same horrible separation of the skin. (Not his work) So I decided to check out Dr. Hurwitz. He is the ONLY dr who spent a ton of time with me talking about my options and thinking of ways to fix the problem.Everyone else was just in and out, telling low chance of a successful outcome. He is awesome, very kind, and realist about expectations. Deff scheduling w him within the next few months!

Dr.Hurwitz did a minor surgery on my face for something that needed removed. It is two weeks after the surgery and the line scar on my face looks amazing. Im so impressed at how well he closed the incision, it looks better than I could have imagined. I know when it is done healing, it will not even be visible, that is how good he is at what he does. Im so thankful I found him. Any other work I will need done in the future, I know where to go! Dr.Hurwitz doesnt try to pressure you into buying anything, which I like. Hes very compassionate and takes the time to listen to any concerns you might have. Thank you Dr.Hurwitz for doing a beautiful job on my face. They gave my mother the knock out medication while she was in the waiting room. I looked at her and she was leaning over. i did not think about it at the time but later I felt it very unprofessional. I also thought her results were horrible. I do not recommend this doctor.

I am 52 years old and had a mid facelift, neck lipo and some fat transferring done. I have been going to Hurwitz for years for noninvasive procedures and finally decided to have a consultation with Dr. Hurwitz. He was wonderful -- he took pictures of me and explained what he would do, and answered so many questions. My biggest fear was that I would look strange afterwards, so we talked a lot about that. I booked the surgery for a few weeks after that initial consult. I cannot tell you how many times I called the office for reassurances or questions! This was quite an investment for me, and I have never had any kind of surgery before. Every person I talked to was kind, they never rushed me, and when I apologized for calling so much, they would say things like, 'You call as often as you want.' I felt really prepared for the post-op care I would need (ice packs, soft foods, etc.).The surgery went fine. The surgical center is in the office, there is free, convenient, parking, and a great waiting room for whoever is staying with you. I do want to say that IS SURGERY. It's not like organ transplant, but IT IS SURGERY. I was swollen (SO swollen), exhausted, and a little alarmed that I would never look like myself again. The day I came in to get my stitches out (about a week post-op), I was a teary mess with a significant case of buyer's remorse. This is where I think that Hurwitz and staff really outdo themselves -- with the supportive after care. You expect that everyone will be nice before you get in the door (they want paid, right?), but they are just as nice afterwards. They really helped ease my mind.I am happy to report that I am five weeks post-op and I look FANTASTIC. I just reviewed before and after pics Dr. Hurwitz and I am completely amazed at how much better, yet how natural, I look. I still have some age on me, which I wanted, but I was astounded at the difference today. I didn't take a lot of pre-op pictures myself, and post-op, it's hard to tell what improved when you see your own face every day. If you are considering doing this for yourself, you owe it to yourself to schedule a consultation. I am one of the most impatient, particular consumers on the planet, and I am 100% satisfied.

His wife did my surgical coordination and she was very good about easing me through my concerns about having surgery since I had never been under before. I would first like to state that I think Dr Hurwitz does a really great job on his procedures. Though, I am absolutely astounded in the years that he has been practicing that not more people complained about his bedside manner. The first time I went to go see Hurwitz was for a rhino-redo. He said to me, 'Hey kid, we'll make it look like you don't resemble Mikie Rourke after his boxing career.' I have a sense of humor though I thought that was carrying it a bit too far. I think I had a complicated case, and I'm overall happy with it. Though I think it could be more symmetrical. Another thing, I am a curvy woman. I'm not a fat woman. I'm not trying to shame any woman. He said, 'we'll make your nose match your body. You're a big girl and you don't want this tiny nose.' I don't know why, I wasn't thrilled about that. Though after reading his reviews, I still went through with it. I would go to him for the longest time for fillers and dysport. He kept cracking jokes about my weight or comments of that nature. I'm not blind, I know that I need to lose a few. Though when you take in a busy work schedule, life, and I'm not certain if there are hormone imbalances...I didn't think it was his place. In the few years that I saw him, I am guessing he made a good 10k off of me/insurance. I have soon switched to another doctor. Every night before an appointment for derma fillers, I started to have anxiety and a pain in my stomach because I thought he would make fun of me. If by any chance you do see this, I would say try to keep any negative thoughts (that don't relate to surgical areas) to yourself. I know your business is not hurting, though your bedside manner needs a touch up course. And reading through the reviews, I am not the only one that thinks so. Now I have a doctor who is great and happy to work on me that is also extremely polite. Patients want a good doctor and a nice individual for the amount that plastic surgery costs. I would have loved to see you again, though I don't want to make myself sick the night before.

I searched Pittsburgh area plastic surgeons for the replacement of my chin implant, which was done 20 years ago. Dr. Hurwitz suggested a platysmaplasty, with liposuction as well as the new implant. I could not be more impressed. His work restored my confidence . Thank you, Dr. Hurwitz. When I have my deviated septum and nasal hump corrrected, I don't need to consult another doctor. I know Dr. Hurwitz is the right surgeon for the job.

Before I had my surgery, bathing suit shopping and even outfit shopping was horrible - I would be in tears. Now that I had my surgery (breast augmentation), I have never felt more confident and better about myself. The group that worked on me - even a year late - still treats me great. I would recommend Dr. Hurwitz to a breast augmentation or anything else only because how great my breasts turned out. I am sure everything else he would do would turn out great.

I appreciated the honest feedback regarding what could / should be done and the expected results. Pre and post procedure questions were taken seriously and responded to quickly. Even with having the procedure on multiple locations (5), I was able to get back to exercising in less than 2 weeks which was sooner than anticipated. He could have easily talked me into a breast augmentation too (I came to him thinking I would get one.), but he said he did not think I needed one. My main concern was the tummy as I had weight loss of 70 pounds and it looked awful and without surgery would not go away. In 2003 I was supposed to have a tummy tuck and moderate facelift really just under the chin and Eye bags. Dr. Hurwitz talked me into an upper and lower tummy tuck and breast reconstruction with the facelift . I woke up after the surgery no facelift have been done because during the surgery I almost bled out my pressure had gone down to 80/60 I was told and my breasts were a mess when is larger than the other one is lopsided and lower than the other I have no waist line I can only wear certain bras because one breast will slip out I am so shamed of my body I have never put on a swimsuit in the last 14 years until recently because I am old enough now that I just don't care, New I was very dissatisfied said he could fix everything that I would have to pay for Anesthesia which cost another couple thousand dollars. I refused I would not trust him at all . He is a butcher .

Dr. Hurwitz butchered my Friend and coworker resulting in her death. My Friend went to have a tummy tuck on the 8th of May 2017, a surgical procedure that was to be 2 hours turned out to be 5 when she woke she was still bleeding but was sent home she woke in the middle of the night could not breath and went to emergency room where she died...I know people say well it happens and it's not always the doctor's fault this was when her autopsy was done the medical examiner stated she was butchered inside he started and when he seen he messed up he kept going. My Friend had a pint of blood in her abdominal area. Please don't go to this docter....reseach first i don't even think he has hospital rights. I give him one star for calling her family this morning.
