I underwent a double mastectomy and Dr. Blum made me feel like I was just getting a breast augmentation (which is how I wanted to see the process). They were always so kind and loving. I recently had a breast augmentation done, and let me tell you how amazing Dr. Blum was. He not only made me feel comfortable about the process, but he did a great job. From my first consultation, I could tell he was very dedicated to his work. He really cares about giving you the results you are looking for. He took the time to help me figure out the perfect fit for me, and that helped calm my nerves. After having a baby I was very insecure about my breasts. Dr. Blum's skill far exceeds any other plastic surgeon's. And I've been to many. New York. New Jersey. Downtown Charleston. Philadelphia. He explains things in an easy to understand way. Staff is caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Dr. Blum keeps in contact with you throughout your entire recovery. Prices are considerably less than other surgeons'. I just seen another doctor today to fix what he done to me, & I have to wait a few months bf I can even have the next surgery, scars are horrible & his attitude was just as bad! I would definitely recommend getting 2nd opinions & looking up the reviews on the BBB and his board license! Google can cover up bad reviews really fast! Please do your homework.

Dr. Schimpf is hands down the best in his field! I just had the Facetite procedure yesterday and I look amazing. My jaw is more pronounced and there is absolutely no loose skin under my chin. I am in no pain and there is little swelling. I will be comfortable going out tomorrow. This was my gift to myself. If you're looking for the best surgeon look no further. This place just wasted my time. I was seen last year at the time was not sure if I wanted to complete procedure. Because I waited to so long had to come back in to be re-evaluated to be told something completely different. The doctor sent the nurse in to relay the message. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

I don't typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one about my experience here! I was referred to the Summerville location from my doctor after I had mentioned my interest in breast reduction. My mother had the procedure done whenever I was young so I was familiar with (what I thought) the procedure, scarring, healing, etc. I met with Dr. Blum for my consultation & he agreed that I should have the procedure done so we sent it off to my ins company for approval. Once approved I worked with Shelbie to schedule the best dates for my surgery via email which made it easy for my work schedule. I met with Dr. Blum 2 weeks prior to my surgery to answer any pre-op/post-op questions & fill out some additional paperwork. He wrote me my prescriptions at that appointment, which was super convenient for me, so I had all of my medicine already ready to go for surgery day. On the day of the procedure (Summerville Medical Center), I met with Dr. Blum a few minutes prior to the procedure to get drawn on. He made me feel calm & made my family & I laugh which definitely helped with nerves. The procedure was super fast (1.5-2hrs). I came out of surgery with little to no pain & was able to leave shortly after. The best part of the experience to me was post-op. Dr. Blum gave me & my family access to his personal cell phone number so that I could call/text if I had any complications, questions or concerns. That made me really feel like I was in good hands. Any time I had to text/call, I had an answer to my question within 10 minutes. Dr. Blum was extremely helpful, knowledgeable & never made me feel like I was a burden. Every conversation with him feels genuine. 3 weeks post op & I am now able to see my incisions (without tape) & that is what truly blew me out of the water & brought me to tears. The stitching is underneath the skin with dissolvable stitches, making my incisions a thin line that will make scarring EXTREMELY minimal. After seeing how my moms procedure went & healed years prior, I was prepared to have scarring but even 3 weeks post op they look AMAZING. Dr. Blum is 100% the reason I feel more confident & am super happy with the results. If you come to this location & have Dr. Blum you are in VERY good hands. 10/10 highly recommend.

Be careful who u get injections by here. Had some ugly outcomes from them on my face and have been trying to contact the injector for the longest with no response. So now Im going to someone else to fix what they did

The office is very welcoming upon entrance! The receptionist staff is beyond friendly with beautiful smiles which is always important on first impressions. I was 15 minutes late for my appointment and they did not make me reschedule and that was a plus because I traveled an hour to get there. Dr. Schimpf and his staff are very knowledgeable of procedures and addressed every concern. I will see you guys again soon!

WORST experience ever. Never had Botox before and after it settled in my eyelids droop so badly they hang over my eyelashes, I cant wear mascara or anything else and this was not the case before. Then they call me and I get no apology only offered to have the manager call me. For what? Is she going to fix the problem? I look ten years older, and in fact I have had many of my friends and family comment on my eyelids. Im so embarrassed and upset. Not to mention I paid 1000.00 to look this bad. NEVER AGAIN
