When I decided to start my surgery journey I knew I wanted to research and to visit a couple of different surgeons to find the one that was best for me. My first stop didnt work out well so I decided to give Dr. Aldea and Dr. Eby a try. I called and was so impressed at how easy it was to make my consultation appointment! I had called 3 other varies places that I didnt even get an answer. Lilly took my call and got all my information and worked me in at my convenience. The day of my consult everyone was so personable and super nice. The office is quiet and tranquil almost. Its very private with minimal signage outside which I like. I met with Dr. Aldea and was in my consult for over an hour. I appreciated how much time and how he didnt leave out any detailed and answered all my questions. He even had a model and told me to perform the procedure so that I knew exactly what would be taking place. After leaving I knew I had found the right place for me. Every appointment I had up to day of surgery stayed the same always nice always ready to conquer all the questions I brought in. Even the front staff and Lilly the assistant was awesome. I felt like we had known each other and were friends she was that great! My surgery was done by both Dr. Aldea and Dr. Eby. My surgery did take a little longer than had initially thought but I know its because they both wanted to take their time and be as precise as possible and you can tell! Im so happy with my results! I am still recovering but so far its been the best decision I could have ever made, investing in myself! From the time I left the hospital after my procedures I was in constant contact with Lilly. It was great to be have those calls and texts to check up, their caring nature matters. Any question or concern I would have I could shoot her a text and she was right there to answer me even late night or weekends I knew I chose the right people. My follow up appointments are just the same still personable and all attention on me. Thats hard to come by at a doctors office these days, but not there! I will be a repeat patient. Hands down the best decision I have ever made!!!

I am 4 days post-operative, but my results are already noticeable. Dr. Aldea was one of multiple doctors whom I consulted with before undergoing a tummy tuck and back liposuction. To say that I was nervous would be an understatement, but his thorough consultation put me at ease and gave clear cut answers on what was to be expected. He is a straight to the point doctor, who will not just tell you anything to gain your business. I was extremely skeptical when he had no photos posted online, and he was the last doctor that I decided to contact. Already booked for a procedure out-of-state, I went to see Dr. Aldea to get his opinion, which ended up being the greatest decision ever! Not only was my surgery performed in a hospital, Dr. Aldea and his team kept my family updated hourly with my surgical progression. I will update my review again in 6 weeks, but I already know I will be amazed, as I am amazed right now and I'm still swollen.

When I got pregnant with my first child I weighed 115 lbs. I gained 70 lbs while pregnant (he only weighed 6 lbs 6 ozs) and it took me a year and a half to lose most of the weight I had gained. A few months later I found out I was pregnant with my second child. I only gained 42 lbs with her but she was 9 lbs 2 oz. I was huge and she sat extremely high the entire time. Upon giving birth my OB warned me that my abdominal muscles were spread as far as they would go and it would take time to get them back where they needed to be. I completed physical therapy and tons of oblique exercises weekly for a year and a half and nothing would relieve the pain or the bulge in my abdomen. My PCP and my OB both advised for me to get a plastic surgeon consult to have my muscles repaired.My husband and I met with Dr. Aldea in October 2018 (not our first consult, we had a consult with another PS in the area first) and when we walked out we both knew he was the ONLY one we wanted to perform this surgery. Dr. Aldea took his time during the consult to get to know us both, to listen to our concerns and to get all the facts. He wanted to know what exactly my goal was and he made recommendations and explained to us why he thought it would benefit me. We scheduled the surgery immediately for Dec 14, 2018 and when we went in for the pre-surgical appointment he again made sure we knew exactly what was going to happen and how to prepare and what to do post-op. His right arm Lilly will give you her phone number and she will be there 110% all the way to help if you have a question or need ANYTHING at all. The day of surgery Dr. Aldea made sure my husband was informed hourly of how things were going and he met with my family after to explain what he did and what he needs from them to help guide my recovery. He is a true MASTER and ARTIST and he takes pride in his work. He makes sure that he is up to date on the latest and greatest techniques and he performs the surgery with your safety as TOP PRIORITY. I ended up having a 10-12 cm separation and I now how abdominal muscles that will support me and I can now function and play with my kids pain free. Dr. Aldea gave me my confidence back and has made my stomach feel and look like it did before kids. Thank you Dr. Aldea and Lilly for being there for me and my husband all the way and treating us like family. You have exceeded every expectation!!!!Once I recover fully I am going to have Dr. Aldea and his wife Dr. Eby fix my encapsulation that I did not even know I had until I told Dr. Aldea that I had been having some right side pain in my breast and asked him to see if my right side looked off to him at one of my post-op visits.

To the person reading this, PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS MAN TOUCH YOU!!!I'm excited you are finally ready or that you finally have saved up enough money to have a tummy tuck. Please don't let Dr. Aldea touch you. It's been a year and 7 months since my surgery and he literally BOTCHED my stomach. I have a huge fat pocket on the right side he said would go away over time and so much extra skin he left on my left side, it looks awful. It's disgusting!!! I literally have to wear an exercise belt to look normal. So that the side that hangs will not sit in my lap. It's taking me this long to give this man a review because I believed him. I believed it would look normal. He told me not to look in the mirror to let it heal and the healing process would take a year or even longer. He lied!!!I called his office assistant/nurse and asked what I could do to fix it. I was told to come in. I went in and was told it would be another $4,000 to $7,000 on top of the $11,000 I had already paid. I'm sorry but I spent my life savings for this. I don't have anymore money to spend. And I would not let this man ever touch me again!!!I'm now stuck with a horrible botched surgery. I have to look at it everyday. I'm now more conscious of my looks than I ever was. Please don't let this man touch you!!!

I attempted to go see Dr. Aldea for a procedure and was recommended by Lynn/Lillie to go see Dr. Staffel at the Shea Clinic instead. That was the worst mistake I made going to see him. I don't understand why his staff recommends you see someone else other than him.I can no longer locate the post regarding the young lady Leigh83 about her botched Rhinoplasty. Her post was very informative. When seeking a Physician for surgery, please ask to se before and after pictures. If he/she are unable to provide photos, please seek a different Physician. Dr.Aldea seems to be more experienced in tummy tucks and liposuction as oppse to Rhinoplasty.

After a significant weight loss, I underwent plastic surgery 10 years ago with another local surgeon and was never really satisfied with my results. The procedures left me with very unattractive scars and dog ears at the end of all incisions. Since that time, sagging and excess skin had become an issue due to aging and the loss of an additional 15-20 pounds. Despite any exercise regimen, there was no improvement. After intensely researching other surgeons, I decided to call and setup a consult with Dr. Aldea. The consult was quickly scheduled, but much to my surprise, there was nothing quick about the consult itself. Dr. Aldea spent two hours with me in a very thorough, informative, and educational setting. Dr. Aldea is willing to answer any and all questions, educates you about the body, and wants to hear from you about the concerns and outcome you are looking for in your body. At all times, he makes sure that you are engaging in conversation with him and understanding everything being discussed. He will definitely keep it real with you while giving his honest opinion about the best available options to receive the most optimal results in the end. While doing all of this, he always has your health in his best interest. I left the office that day with no doubt in my mind that he would be the one to perform my surgery. My perspective of him was that he views his work as an art and his passion for his profession was undeniable. I called the office within a few days and selected my surgery date. I saw Dr. Aldea a couple of times prior to surgery for before photos and a thorough overview of the well devised plan for surgery (a complete opposite of my prior surgeon who consulted with me for 15 minutes and saw me the day of surgery). The procedure I had was a butt lift and removal of sagging skin on my lower back (and also what I would call a tummy tuck incision revision, that I know there is probably a better term). The end result eliminated sagging skin on my abdomen, dog ears remaining from previous surgery, and because he used the same incisions on the front from my previous surgery, the scars now look amazing and are all pencil thin!! While Dr. Aldea was prepping me for surgery and making his final markings on me with his colorful markers, the last words I said to him before he left were, Make me your masterpiece today, and he did just that. I intend to have a similar procedure done in 9-12 months to eliminate the excess skin on my upper back and, in my opinion, there is no other choice in surgeons than Dr. Peter Aldea.I want to give a special shout out to Dr. Aldeas assistant, Lilly, who is absolutely fabulous to deal with and has a great energy about her. The initial consult was just between Dr. Aldea and myself, but every other step of the way Lilly was always right there throughout the entire journey. She is very helpful and always readily available prior to surgery and during follow-up care. She is willing to provide you with a contact number where she can be reached 24/7 if needed. She called the day after surgery to make sure I was doing well and answered my calls/text messages whenever I had any questions. In summary, my experience was a 10+ from beginning to end and would recommend Dr. Aldea without hesitation.

I have been wanting a tummy tuck since I had my 1st c-section 11 yrs ago, and after my 2nd one a yr ago it was a must. However, I had seen so many botched plastic surgeries I was terrified. Picking the right plastic surgeon for me was extremely important and going to take some time, so I thought. I made 3 consultation appts. with different plastic surgeons in the Memphis area. My 1st consultation was with Dr Aldea, and after meeting with him I cancelled my other 2 appts. Dr Aldea explained the procedure thoroughly as well as answered all my questions & concerns. He spent almost 2 hrs with my husband and I during my 1st consultation. He would have taken more time if needed. Dr Aldea is not going to sugar coat things and will let you know exactly what he thinks regardless if it's not what you want to hear. That's exactly the kind of dr I wanted. I originally was interested in a tummy tuck and boob lift after talking with him we decided on a tummy tuck and lipo on my flanks. After my consultation I scheduled my surgery. Lilly is dr Aldea's right hand gal and she is fabulous. She is there to help you with anything you may need before and after surgery. Lilly called and checked on me everyday after the surgery for the 1st week. My tummy tuck & lipo look absolutely AMAZING and I couldn't be any happier with my results and it's only 2 months post-op. I can't even imagine what I'm going to look like 6 months from now. I really didn't have any complications after surgery other then seroma in my back. Dr Aldea saw me twice a week until the seroma was gone which was 2 weeks. I was unsure of what to expect when I went to Dr. Aldea's office. As a healthcare provider I am absolutely certain that the office staff reflect the practice view of the providers in the office. From my first encounter with the staff I was made to feel welcome, valued, and important to their office. When I met Dr. Aldea I was amazed that he met with me for almost an hour getting to know my health history and discussing types of surgery that could correct my problem. Dr. Aldea performed a breast augmentation for me in January, and did a phenomenal job! I was so nervous at my first consultation, but Dr. Aldea answered all of my questions thoroughly, and completely put my mind at ease about every worry I had. He is not the kind of doctor that tries to sell himself or more procedures...he is honest and cares about your happiness with the end result above all else. I hadn't made up my mind entirely before the initial consultation, but I felt so comfortable after our meeting that I booked my surgery that day! The surgery went off without a hitch (I got silicone 375 cc round, under the muscle). I haven't had any complications, and the pain was minimal following surgery. I mostly just took Tylenol for the discomfort after the first day or so. I was back at work the following week, and back working out after about 6 weeks. Dr. A and his nurse were only a text or call away anytime I needed anything!It's been almost 11 weeks now, and I am soooo happy with my results! They have softened up a lot, and are looking and feeling more and more natural as the weeks pass. I honestly can't even tell where my natural breast stops and the boobie bag begins...my husband and I try to see if we can feel it, but we really can't! If you are looking for a wonderful surgeon that is honest and caring, go with Dr. Aldea, and you wont regret it!

Dr. Aldea performed a fleur de lis tummy tuck, then a butt lift and finally an upper back lift with lipo and and arm lift. All of this was performed over a 3 years.I am very happy with all the results and would do it all over again. I have never ever interacted with any medical professionals like Dr. Aldea . I am a realist and like to know how to set my expectations. Dr. Aldea gave me very straightforward answers and took time to make sure all my questions were answered. Lilly has such a vibrant personality which gives hope to any situation. At my consultation, I noted my concerns which included excess skin due to major weight loss. I had done research and knew what kind of procedures I thought I should get done to help better my body...tummy tuck and thigh lift. Dr. Aldea NEVER gave me false hope or tried to pressure me into procedures that were not needed. He is straight forward which I believe is a great characteristic to have in this field. He even brought me down from getting a thigh lift and noted that liposuction would be better suited. After the surgery, I was able to text/call at any time if I had any questions or concerns. I never had a problem getting in appointments after the surgery and would have been able to get a weekend appointment if I truly needed it. After much research, I decided to schedule a consult with Dr. Aldea for April 1, 2015. There was a 100.00 consult fee that is applied to your surgery cost if you decide to go with Dr. Aldea. Upon arrival, I was immediately taken to the back and waited about 2 minutes to see Dr. Aldea. Dr. Aldea was very professional , straight forward, informative, and very knowledgable about the procedure that I was inquiring about. The consult was about 45 minutes and I felt really good about it as I was not rushed and he didn't appear to be in a rush.I was really impressed that Dr. Aldea, wanted to know how much I knew about the procedure. I 'thought' I had done some pretty good research if i May so say myself. Huh, I had to think again. Dr. Aldea, explained all the different types of lipo that there were from tumescent, to laser, vaser, and water soluable lipo. I was IMPRESSED. On 4/7/15 I made the decision to have Dr. Aldea to perform my procedure. On April 13, 2015 I went into his office paid my fees after meeting with him and being photographed. Lily his assistant is AWESOME and is very personable. She made sure she covered all basis of the procedure as well as the paperwork. She even showed me how to put on my compression garment and how to insert towels (to stop indentation) because my torso area was too short for the garment. Lily gave me her personal cell number and ask that I call her if I should have any questions or concerns. On 5/8/15 Dr. Aldea perform lipo on my abdomen, sides, and back at ST. Francis hospital. Dr. Aldea arrived marked on the areas that he would perform lipo on and made sure that I didn't have any more questions before the procedure began. Needless to say, I did not as Dr. Aldea was thorough from the very first consult up until minutes before the surgery began. When I woke up I was out of recovery and back in a room. Dr. Aldea was present and explained to my sister about the procedure and what to expect. Lily followed up with my through the hardest part of my recovery and that was the first 72 hours after the procedure. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Aldea and if I should have another procedure, hands down it would be Dr. Aldea. I've dealt with two different surgeons ( Tummy tuck and breast reduction) and I must say, that I wish I had encountered Dr. Aldea before making that horrible mistake. If the TT had been performed correctly, three years later, I probably would not have had to have lipo to clean up what was messed up. I'm currently 2 weeks post op and I feel great!! Although, I'm still swollen, so far I am pleased with the results.

3 years ago Dr. Aldea and Dr. Eby performed a breast augmentation/slight reconstruction because I had a mild case of tuberous breast deformity. I researched plastic surgeons all over Memphis and Dr. Aldea's very informational website caught my eye so he is who I chose. I have never met a surgeon so willing to explain every single detail of what surgery that was going to be performed. He is very caring, cautious and a perfectionist as well as Dr.Eby. These two surgeons are the closest thing to God when it comes to designing/redesigning your body. I am still happy with my breasts to this day. I will not use any other surgeons until these two retire, which will hopefully be never! Their secretary Lilly is AWESOME. Lilly is always there to answer questions, go out of her way to do something for you, and her bubbly personality will put a smile on anyones face. I have been looking for a plastic surgeon for some time now. I am scheduled for a tummy tuck and looking into lipo as well. Right off the bat I got a good feeling about Dr. Aldea and his staff. When I called to make the consultation appointment, there was a fee. I gladly paid the fee because I believe you get what you pay for. The last thing I wanted to do is go into a PS`s office (for free) and get told what THEY think I want to hear or feel rushed out the door ; because it was free! Not with Dr. Aldea. He took the time to answer all of my and my husbands questions. We had what seemed like all day to ask all the questions we wanted to. Not only did we learn about the procedure, Dr. Aldea also taught us what we needed to know about the human body. From the time I walked in to his office I had a good feeling. Dr. A is very down to earth and is very knowledgeable about his profession. He doesn't tell you what you want to hear and he doesn't try to sell you different procedures that you don't need.(He even talked me out of one!) One thing that impressed me the most about Dr. A (besides his vast knowledge) was his honesty and sincerity. He and his staff make you feel very important and that`s hard to find in this profession. Dr. Aldea performed a fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty on me 4 weeks ago. I had a check up today, along with follow up photos. The results are already amazing, even though I am still a little swollen. I actually have a waist again-- I've lost over 3 inches!!! The level of care that I have received from both of them is top-notch. They take as much time as you need to answer as many questions as you may have, both before and after the procedure. They even call to check on you after the surgery. I had a slight complication and was brought into the office on a Saturday to fix it. I have never had any doctor volunteer to help me on a weekend before. I can not say enough good things about both Dr. Aldea and his wife, Dr. Eby, who did my mastopexy in November. Not only are they are both certified by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, but several other state and national boards as well. Their office staff are very professional and helpful, tool. I very highly recommend the Cosmetic Surgery Specialists team.
