Some of the greatest thinkers and people who have made major impact on mankind were stoic and serious. Dickey is serious but no one can out think him. He can analyze and access things in the effort of getting treatment handled. If there is time left he will crack a smile.

dr dickey is THE most unprofessional person Ive met in any medical profession. He was following up a visit to his PA who didnt make any sense. I waited 1:15 in the exam room then saw him for 10 minutes. I asked if he could answer questions about my right knee and he had the audacity to say he didnt have the time (I WASTED 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES WAITING ON HIM AND HE DOESN'T HAVE THE TIME!!!!) His first words out of his mouth was Im going to try to stay impartial of which he did NOTHING of the sort. He was on a mission to justify his PA. Even to the point of repeatedly rolling his eyes! This guy has to be around 60 years old and acts like a child! Everything I said about my pain was met with condescending looks/comments and rolling eyes. He shoved his thumbs in my sciatic nerves which caused me severe pain for a week! I mentioned to the VA that I saw him and they said oh dr dickey... we dont refer to him anymore. I would recommend asking for any other Dr if referred to him! Stay away!

The staff is not accommodating and doesnt communicate clearly. They do not like Tricare referrals and treat those patients as second class.

Dr. Dickey replaced both my knees in 2007. What a life changing event. Got me hiking and playing tennis again with no pain. Surgery was performed at Hendrick Hospital where the staff and nurses were great.

**0 star rating **Dr. Dickey and the staff when I got my surgery done in Jones' building was a ten of ten everyone had smiles and was very considerate the day of surgery. Dr Dickey handled me very well and answered all my questions. That reviews been submitted a ten of ten. However, this one is for the staff in the front office of the orthopedic building just to keep it short and simple they were rude and it seems like you have to call three to four times every time to get an answer or in one case a call back.

Wait entirely too long! 2 1/2 hours barely get X-ray sent back to waiting room for another 45 minutes! Nurse was not very friendly a bit on the rude side. Front desk receptionist was nice. Wait not good when you are there for an appointment with someone with special needs.

Calvin Abor, was great, very compassionate and took the time to explain issues. The office staff unprofessional , not helpful, had to assist in getting the insurance right. Very difficult in trying to contact them.

Wait time about hour and a half. Staff members were Nice. We saw PA Calvin and We were so VERY pleased with his level of time spent and addressing questions & Concerns.

I rate this 0000 stars this office is a hot mess rude as heck, no politeness nurses don't greet you I mean it's almost like your wondering if you are in the twilight zone because everyone is programmed to be crappy and the doctor was worse than his staff couldn't tell us anything he sucks to the fullest i had my daughter who was the patient he knew nothing about the surgeries she had in the past couldn't recommend any doctors all he kept mentioning was her weight in which we are already working on it she is down 10 pounds at this time again he mentioned it over and over let's say 10 times was the minimum we will never and I mean Never WASTE TIME COMING TO THIS TRASHY OFFICE AND STAFF I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS!!!!!

on 6-14-2016 I was sent to Dr Dicky for consultation for left shoulder rotator cuff surgery. Dr Dicky said what do you want. I replied to be able to do pushups and pull ups again. Dr Dicky said you want to be NORMAL as if that is a crime. He talked about patients that were in pain 24/7 or patients that could not even hold there arm up. His talking about these patients made me think I do not deserve or need any surgy to repair the torn tendon from my shoulder. He wrote me a script for physical therapy instead. After his talking I do not want a doctor cutting on me with his attitude. I would have understood Dr Dicky had said instead I can operate on you and fix the tear but can't guarantee you would be able to do pushups or pull ups again..
