I'm almost 1 year from my surgeries. Dr. Basu and his team did an amazing job! I always felt that all my concerns were directly addressed. Dr. Basu is so thorough. That put me so much at ease. I could tell he pays attention to the fine details. I never felt any pressure when discussing options and knew I had a say in every aspect of my procedure. This was really important to me. My recovery was so much better than what I was expecting and I simply love my results. I absolutely recommend Dr. Basu. And his nurse Susan is an angel.

Breast augmentation and TT results were awful and he did not correct them. The implants were concave in the center and I still had a significant bulge in the middle of my stomach (mind you I'm 105lbs) so much skin was cut I almost couldn't have it corrected by the next surgeon. Also, do not agree to a vertical incision the scar is from my navel to pelvis so ask preop about this. Do your research and find another surgeon.

Prior to my final decision to use Basu Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery I had literally interviewed 8 other plastic surgeons between Dallas, Austin and Houston....Some who claimed that the procedure would have to be done in 3 sessions over a period of 6-8 mo. Another couple of surgeons who both advised me that ('It can be done...But you will not like your results, and you will end up coming back for more corrections because you have to much excess skin!')...WHAT??Not only did Dr. BASU's solid background assure me of my commitment to move forward, but Dr. BASU's was the FIRST out of the 8 doctors that did not come in the consultation and start off by TELLING me about the procedure....(in a take it or leave it attitude).....as many others made me feel!!! If that happens WALK AWAY!When I initially met Dr. BASU it was at his open house of his new facility....I kind of felt like an outcast as all these women were absolutely stunning, and I was this wierd Asian standout! Its was so wierd that Dr. BASU picked me out of the crowd (lol) and he introduced himself, ......and I QUICKLY...congratulated him on his New State of the Art Facility....(so he doesn't think I was someone off the street taking his beautiful hand made cookies in the snacks area lol).....I continued to tell him that I wasn't interested in any of his Non-Invasive procedures (which they were promoting at the open house) but that I was more interested in a more invasive procedure (plastic surgery)....He smiled, and then I told him how much I had already learned about him where he went to school, how many past proceeds he has performed, and overall patient experiences and expectations.....HE WAS IMPRESSED!!.....Prior to my consultation with Dr. BASU I had an initial phone conversation with one of the Patient Coordinators Bailey....Who was very warm and welcoming. She listened to WHY I wanted the procedure prior to what my expectations were, she scheduled the Dr. consultation, and this is where I knew Dr. BASU was the PERFECT Surgeon to perform my procedure on me....'HE LISTENED!'....'HE CARED!'....'HE ALLOWED QUESTIONS!' (YES !!) THIS WAS IS A RIDICULOUS STATEMENT BUT OTHER DOCTORS DON'T MAKE YOU FEEL AS THOUGH THEY DONT HAVE TIME FOR YOUR QUESTIONS......Believe it or not after interviewing with the past 8 doctor I really got so complacent with not asking questions that I probably only asked a few.....But Dr. BASU did ask after every statement 'Any Questions?.....I loved that!! It was two words that other Doctors had a hard time saying! Because back then I DID HAVE QUESTIONS BUT WAS TO INTIMIDATED to ask!!(ugh!)Now Dr. BASU's Staff They TRULY compliment and complete him and each other well!! From the front end to the back end.....If you had a bad experience with them its because YOU didn't follow thier instructions on After Care which is very imparative for great results. I hope this helps those in search for a plastic surgeon because I did MY RESEARCH, and my SEARCH IS OVER!! BASU is the way to go go PERIOD! GOOD LUCK!

Dr. Basu and his staff were amazing! I love my the results I got with my breast lift, he reconstructed my whole top figure. I could have never imagined my breasts to look so beautiful. After 2 kids and breastfeeding, my boys they left me with nothing. At least that is what I thought. During my consultation, he did what I call the bubbie trick. lol He pretty much took my breast and reshaped right before my eyes with his own bare hand. My husband and I were in awe. Dr. Basu pointed out that I had great breast volume to where I did not need implants. The other doctors that I interviewed with suggested that I needed the implant. Why Basu Plastic Surgery? After spending countless hours in the internet reading reviews and met someone who had breast augmentation by Dr. Bob Basu I was convinced to have the procedure at BPS.Consultation Day: I already knew what I wanted so it was a quick but precise consult. Dr. Basu measured me and immediately noticed the asymmetry between my breasts. I described what I wanted and he also informed me of his plan and technique. He was professional, efficient and confident.Before Surgery: I received a packet from the office before surgery and read all the pages. It's the instructions before,during and after surgery. Just follow what is written and if you have questions make phone calls. The office staff were very lovely and friendly. The patient coordinators were very knowledgeable specially Vivian. She took care and answered all my questions and was very accommodating. She has a soft reassuring voice and always have a smile.After Surgery: It was painful in a couple of days but I have round the clock pain meds. I think having a high profile silicone with dual plane technique made it uncomfortable. The outcome is totally a natural look. Dr. Basu managed to make my breasts totally even. I love it!I highly recommend Dr. Basu to anyone who is looking to have breast augmentation done. He is the only best plastic surgeon in Houston!

I went in wanting one procedure only (lipo) , Dr.basu strongly recommended a tummy tuck as well . Do to my saggy skin after having 3 kids . I was a little hesitate at first, but I trusted is opinion . I'm 3 1/2 weeks post opt and so far I love my results . The staff are really nice , especially Tiffany . I wasn't the best patient , I admit I had my impatient days and I went against my post opt care . Coming in the office I felt like a scared little child, knowing I've did wrong . Tiffany was very understanding ,but still concern about my health and strongly suggest for here on out take care of myself and follow their instructions . Also I could contact her if I needed any advice , that gave me a peace of mind . Overall i give it five stars.
