Dr Helm is a very thorough dermatologist. I am glad he is my doctor. The staff there is always very friendly and make you more at ease before and after you are treated. Check them out if you havent done so already. They were worth traveling the distance from Paris to Sherman, but their new Paris location makes it even better

I am an adult caucasian female who is fairly new to Paris, Texas. I had been seeing a Dermatologist in Mansfield, Texas prior to moving to Paris and decided to go to Sherman, Texas where I went to see one or more physicians over the years in a group of Dermatologists in Sherman, Texas. While there I was told that physicians in this group also saw patients in Paris, Texas. This was great news because it was very convenient, saving me time and money. I made an appointment to see Dr. Matthew Helm from this group in Paris, Texas. He and his staff were very friendly, kind, attentive, caring, and knowledgeable. All of the staff managed the time for my appointment well without making me feel like they were in a hurry. On my first visit, there was paperwork to complete prior to seeing the physician, but that is to be expected and contained no surprises. Any questions I had were answered by the staff in a very professional manner.I was extremely pleased with my over all experience, and would give Dr. Matthew Helm and his staff FIVE STARS!

Dr. Helm was extremely professional. I had been told that I needed a full body check since I had a skin cancer removed years ago. Every other dermatologist I went to never suggested a full body scan, and seemed hesitant to do so. Dr. Helm did; I did not have to ask for one. He closely examined every spot on my body and burned several and advised me to keep an eye on one brown spot on my arm.Five stars!

Let me start by saying I have a huge fear of Doctors. That being said I loved Dr. Helm, his nurse and the entire staff. I live in the Dallas area and tried calling multiple Dermatolgist's office here and they were all extremely rude and rather expensive. I chose to drive to Sherman and it was well worth it. I had a lipoma removed and during the whole procedure Dr. Helm kept checking in with me to make sure I was okay. The nurses kept me laughing which kept my mind off of what was going on. I could not be more happy with the care I received. I would highly reccomend Dr. Helm and the rest of the office.
