I do not understand all the 5 star reviews for this chop shop. I think the great reviews are written by those who have low expectations, low standards, do not understand what quality work really is, and didn't go to consultations from other surgeons. They have substandard results but just aren't able to tell. QuickLift: Dr. Barone gave me pixie ears and cut into my hairline in the wrong places. These 2 mistakes made by Dr. Barone resulted in the opposite...I ended up looking older. Read reviews of skilled, experienced cosmetic surgeons regarding these 2 mistakes, and they all say that these 2 things make you look older, are definitely signs of a sloppy job, and that these 2 mistakes can easily be avoided. Dr. Barone also did not correct some of the areas that she claims the QuickLift can address. During my follow up when I confronted her about all of these issues she just kept saying over and over, 'You look great, oh, you look so good!' She thought by saying these things it would influence me into believing that she had done a good job. I did not fall for it. The worse part is that this horrible doctor realizes her sloppy work but just doesn't care and doesn't take accountability for her negligent actions. Can't believe she's even an M.D.

I had a tummy tuck and she did a fabulous job. Recovery and all follow ups she made sure if I needed anything she would be there for me.

I am pleased overall with my results however I am some what lopsided. One side looks amazing after my tummy tuck and lipo to hips. When coming in for a follow up and expressed my thoughts, I was told I needed another 13K worth of work after spending $16K. This procedure was already higher than most and even the garments are up priced, after finding the exact same ones online, I felt cheated.

Dr. Barone is awesome. She did a Quick Lift on my face using the infusion technique and I had no bruising. I was back at work in five days and no one noticed that I had surgery. My face and neck look so much younger (I am 64 years old). I was never anxious during the surgery, under local anesthesia, because she has the best bedside manner. Her staff is also awesome and so great at taking care of you during post op appointments.

I am writing this review from my Dad's account to protect my privacy.I went to consult 3 plastic surgeons before finding Dr. Barone. Best decision ever!!! I did a Quick Lift, Neck and eye lid. I cannot believe how good I look!! Everyone compliments me, but they can't quite put the finger on what happened. They just say: You look gorgeous! At 3 months of my surgery, I look completely recovered, although I know it can take up to a year for the scars around the ears to completely heal. And by the way, the cuts were so precise and clean, you can barley see them. Dr. Barone will be super careful to cut in places where they can't show. The little ones in front of my ears are minimal. Right now I cover them (in my eyes and ears) with concealer from IT Cosmetics and it works wonderful, even I forget I have scars healing.The Staff is super helpful, Dr. Barone is a Goddess. She botched me back in 2007. She put two of the same Saline implants in me when one should have been a little bit bigger than the other. Yet, on my paperwork it said otherwise. It also turned out that I did not need a lift like she kept on insisting. The scarring from that was so bad. My second Dr. corrected everything. Very arrogant woman!

I just had the worst experience with Dr Barone and her staff. She put off my surgery twice. She said she could not obtain the ideal implants, which we find out she is a stock holder in the ideal company. After consulting with another doctor, we have found out the fda has no approved or released the ideal implants. Dr Barone and her staff are very deceiving . They are telling their patients that it is a delivery problem . It is not. A very deceptive practice, to say the least. Would not recommend her to anyone. And she is collecting payment in full.

The office is full of arrogant employees just like the Doctor. This is a Doctor who wants to charge $150.00 for an Appointment to see if you want surgery. Don't give her your hard earned money. I think it is strange she is rated 1 or 5.

I just had my final check up from having a Mini Tummy Tuck and I have to say that my results are even better than expected!! Dr Barone does a wonderful job and takes pride in her work!! She is a bit quick and you may feel rushed but you never spend a lot of time in the waiting room. She is not a chatty doctor but her staff is very good at addressing all concerns so you are never left without a question answered . I am very thankful to have my flat tummy back Thinking about one more procedure with her!!

I chose Dr. Barone because I wanted the latest technology in breast implants (Ideal Implants) and she was one of the only doctors in San Antonio to offer them and she is one of the top rated plastic surgeons in the US! Beautiful offices and reception area and friendly and very professional staff. Your first consultation is free! I have had two previous breast augmentations done by a different surgeon and I am so glad I chose Dr. Barone for my third revision. She did a far superior job than my previous doctor. Together we chose a smaller sized implant than what I originally had and I am so pleased with the new size that actually fits my small frame. Dr. Barone made me feel very comfortable and calm before my surgery and they even had a heated blanket which was very nice. The anesthesiologist met with me and explained the entire process of what would happen and the nurse who prepped me was friendly and warm. I had no complications after surgery and my new breasts look the best they ever have! I used to feel self conscious about my previous implants because I always felt they didn't look as good as they could but Dr. Barone did such a beautiful job and I now feel comfortable wearing lower cut tops and every time I see my new implants I am finally 100% happy with what I see!

I am a patient that traveled hundreds of miles from Kansas to see Dr. Barone and I can honestly say I have ZERO regrets!!! I flew in for my free consultation in Oct. for a Tummy Tuck and flew back in for my pre consultation in Nov. and flew in Again in Dec. for my surgery. With the price I was quoted and the amount of travel plus expenses for my 4week stay, I can say by far the best experience I had. Dr. Barone listened to what I wanted, recommended what she knew was best for my body type and was kind, courteous and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. If we had more time we could sit and talk for hours but realistically she has a job to do ;) I am beyond blessed to have found her and her work is incredible! This place is very unprofessional and treat their customers childishly after surgery. They will reschedule and cancel appointments post surgery and basically make you wait for whenever they feel like is a good time to see you. They do not care or take you seriously post surgery. Y'all should be ashamed to be treating people this way and taking advantage of the situation they are in knowing y'all just did surgery on them and knowing surgery is very major. They will leave you with an opening on your body and treat you childishly. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Awesome, I did my research and looked at reviews.i have been in the medical profession for 33 years so yes. I am picky. I actually found Dr Barone while flying southwest. She was voted best plastic surgeon in the nation in a magazine they have on the plane. I made an appointment when the plane landed. When I meet her. She was kind,matter of fact and honest. The whole office made me feel comfortable and important. I had the consult and decided she was the one. She is an artist and I had plenty to fix. 1 week post op I know it will only get better. Now I feel good on the inside like I look on the outside.

I don't know who Dr. Barone thinks she is but there are a ton of great plastic surgeons in San Antonio and she is certainly not one of them.
