Had to go to the ER for abdominal pain. 'Kidney Stones'If I could.... i would give 10 plus stars to the staff from Radiology to ER department and everyone in between. The nicest the most helpful and compassionate. They were very observant. I didn't have to ask for meds because they were on top of it. Great Job and thank you for your help.

My girlfriend went in for a general wellness visit with Doctor Root, and she was expecting her insurance to cover the visit, but he declared that it was a special visit because she mentioned that she had diarrhea and they stuck her with a $400 bill. I cannot recommend this hypocritical doctor or this greedy disgusting hospital. I will remove this post if they reconcile and bill her properly. We are either getting a corrected bill and proper insurance payout, or we are taking legal action.

Great hospital in a pinch. ER care is great but if you have to be admitted it can become quite stressful. They are incredibly understaffed. My last admission, which was a week and 1/2 ago, there was only one nurse on duty. This nurse was not just to take care of the admitted patients but also the ER and eldercare home. I never once received my pain medication on time. Sometimes it was up to 2 hours late. If you're in need of a hospital I would definitely go. The staff are caring and will help. But if you're not in need of saving life or limb I'd say be seen in a clinic or a hospital near your home. I do want to reiterate that it is a good hospital but it is EXTREMELY understaffed.

Very prompt and professional staff from reception to discharge. Dr. Bowmann, RN Julia and others on the team got right to work on cleaning and stitching a nasty cut on my hand. We were in and out in under an hour, putting us back on our vacation. Many thanks to the staff at Kane County Hospital!

Great hospital with great staff. I hit my hand with an axe while spitting wood (I should have never done it and I'm really really dumb). Split the top of my hand open, just got the muscle under the skin. Dr Bowman cleaned me up and stitched my hand back together. Excellent stitching. From the time I walked into the ER to me walking out stitched up was about an hour. Being from NY I was amazed. I'm use to waiting an hour just to get INTO the ER. Excellent hospital. Would recommend for all injuries and maladies.

Very attentive and polite staff. We had to visit Kane County Hospital during our vacation due to a significant hand injury sustained at the sand dunes. Within an hour I was completely stitched up and ready to get back on my motorcycle the next day.

Wow wow wow! I wrongly assumed a small hospital would lack in service and knowledge but sooooo the opposite here. Andrea RN, Dr. Ott, another RN (Australian accent?), the aide, and receptionist were all so so sweet, helpful, understanding, and quick!!!! Explained everything perfectly. Being out of town, injured on 2nd day of vacation stinks but you all definitely made it better! Thank you!

I'm from Arizona and I was hunting at the Kaibab Plateau 10/27/18. I get real bad migraines and I ran out of Sumatriptan shots. I had no choice but to drive and hour away to have a slight chance to get my shots. From the moment that I walked into the hospital, they treated me with respect and helped me out more than I thought they were. Although I was cover in deer blood, they never questioned me or turned their noses up at me. I'm 100% happy with my expereince with the staff there.

The staff in the hospital (as I'm told were very nice) I was laying on a stretcher at the time. don't even remember being there. Met the C-T (Machine, didn't like that) (4 stars) to their service.But the EMT service, well, let's put it this way, Take a cab. (It's cheaper) than a 4700.00 Bill, for transport. Came out to 51.00 a mile

If this is skilled nursing, Ill stay at home. This is such an unprofessional, unskilled facility and even the doctor is a nitwit. Knew nothing about the patient he was in to see. Did he ever learn how to read a chart?! Oh, Im sorry, I forgot, there probably wasnt a chart because no one ever knew what they were doing. This is an embarrassment of a hospital and youd be wise not to go there. You might end up in far more serious trouble if you are in their care.

We arrived at the ER just before 9:00 am. My husband was having head pain. The staff ushered us right into the examining/treatment room area. He had a CT scan, blood work. The doctor shared results with us. We left a little over 2 hours after we got there. The staff (nurses, doctor, etc.) couldn't have been more professional and caring. It was a very positive experience for us.

Waited over an hour on a bleeding injury. Got an Xray I probably didn't even needed. Charged me 4 figures for just cleaning and dressing a wound. Called on a course of couple months. Always sent to a voicemail noone ever calls back. Steer clear if your injuries are not life threatening.

My fiancee went here for something, and 3 different times they told her she was paid off in full, and 3 different times they came back later and said 'just kidding, give us more money'. People here are dishonest and nickel-and-dime you to death. Do not go here, go somewhere else.

I went to the ER because I was having horrible pain in my lower abdomen. When I got there, nobody really knew what they were doing. The doctor was rude and acted like me being there was an inconvenience for him. They gave me pain meds through an IV, did an ultrasound- which they gave up on because everything was 'shadowed', and then gave me a prescription for what they thought 'might be a problem' after telling me that I was in pain because of diabetes. Sorry, but no.The doctor just kept acting like he wanted to get out of there. I felt like he cut a lot of corners, and just gave me a couple of prescriptions just so that he could be done and go home. If you're not going to take the time to take real care of your patients, don't become a doctor.
