Peterson at the Center for Advanced Plastic Surgery in St. George, Utah is exceptionally talented, and if ever there's a Hall of Fame for Plastic Surgery, a statue of Dr. Peterson should be bronzed and put at the entrance of his practice. This MD is a Life Force. He is defiantly an expert in his field. He is an artist at what he does. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate.Dr. Peterson is a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.Dr. Peterson is a very skilled physician who really cares about his patients and the outcome of their experience. He has a balanced approach to beauty, and is the best of the best. He is a great communicator and has great listening skills.Trust is the first thing you must have in your doctor, and I completely trust this doctor.Dr. Peterson's office is totally beautiful, relaxing, state of the arts office with a delightful and amazing staff. I especially like his wife Tammy; she is amazing, with a superb bubbly personality. She makes you feel at home, and relaxed. The staff is very organized and well prepared. Everyone was so friendly and answered all my questions in terms that I understood. They provide 'best in class' services and customer service.I couldn't be more satisfied with my results. I had a great experience! I had no post-op pain or bruising with my CO2 Laser of my face and neck. The surgery was all done while I was asleep. The only pain I felt was the IV, and I do not like needles. I had no post-op surgery pain at all! This surgery was so easy and rewarding. The results surpassed my expectations.I was well informed of what I should do and expect prior and after the surgery. The medical staff at the St George Surgical Center, in the same building as Dr. Peterson's office, was friendly, professional and caring. They were all so friendly and cared about my experience and how comfortable I was. Making me feel relaxed and less scared of the surgery. I really had no anxiety prior to surgery, do to the care given.I was highly satisfied with my experience because of the high degree of professional treatment both from Dr. Peterson and his staff, and as well as the Surgical Center.I'm urging all my friends and family considering a procedure, to make an appointment to meet Dr. Peterson. Their lives will never be the same!Just to let Dr. Peterson know; 'My Face Loves You!'

Dr. Petersen is an exceptional surgeon not only for his knowledge but his willingness to listen to his patients. After much research and considerations I always find myself choosing Dr.Petersen. I have had him do multiple procedures over the past ten years and even though Ive consulted and researched many surgeons I still think he is the best. If I ever have a concern or problem he is always willing to listen and responds quickly and even though he is such a busy surgeon he still takes times to make sure his patients are well taken care of and happy with their results.

CoolSculpting was not effective for me. The results were negligible and the cost was high. I would have expected Dr. Petersons office to follow up on my outcome. No such effort was made. I requested a follow up visit and consultation with Dr. Peterson, which they were very willing to do, and which I appreciated. I do not feel that Dr. Peterson was professionally honest in assessing CoolSculptings effectiveness on me. I would have preferred that he simply own the fact that it didnt work on me than to hear him explain results visible to him but not me. The many disclaimers you are asked to acknowledge are there for a reason. Results vary and you take all the risk. In retrospect, it feels like a bait and switch sales effort. The staff was very helpful and professional.

We would appreciate the reviewer Regina Viola to contact our office at any time and ask to speak to Tami. We have no patient by that name in our records and the comments do not follow any of our practice policies. In the rare event that a patient might be frustrated with Dr. Peterson or any member of his staff, or feel they have been treated poorly, we would so appreciate a phone call or e-mail. Every effort will be made to make things right. If a patient wants to know the cost of a specific surgery, all they need to do is call the office or e-mail Dr. Peterson directly. We are more than willing to let patients know what to expect before ever coming in for a consult. All new consults are given 30 minutes with Dr. Peterson. On two occasions since 2006 there have been accidents on !-15 that slowed down the Staff to arrive in Vegas. While on the road, the first two or three patients were called to let them know of the delay and were scheduled later in the day. Anyone who was seen, was given the full consult time and often more if they had questions. In addition, no patient in our practice has ever been called 8 months after a consultation and been asked to pay for it. Consultations are always complimentary in St. George, Utah and Henderson, Nevada. Because Dr. Peterson's time is so limited in Henderson, we do secure a credit card number for our Las Vegas patients that is held to guarantee their appointment slot. The credit card is NEVER charged unless the patient simply does not show up for their appointment. Even if the patient calls us the day of the appointment to let us know they cannot come, there is no charge. this policy is explained when the consultation is made. We would be so happy to clear up any issues or misunderstandings you may have had Viola. Thank you!

Dr. Peterson performed a surgical procedure on my daughter and did a great job. A year later my husband had a procedure done and we were pleased. Then I decided it was my turn. So I had an eye lift. I explained to Dr. Peterson that I did NOT want any droopy skin left on my eye lids! He said he was going to leave some so I can get a brow lift in the future. I expained that I would never get that procedure done. I could only afford this one procedure . He did NOT listen and did the procedure his way. I am very unhappy with the way my eyes look. My eyes are still DROOPY. When I messaged him and expressed how I felt and that I was very unhappy that he did not proceed with my wishes in completing my procedure.

Got a breast lift in 2015. After surgery, the doctor informed me that he had taken out some fat from the right breast to 'even them out' even though I never complained of them being uneven and never spoke to him about making them more even because I liked them the amount of even they were, which was certainly more even than they are now. After surgery and I got cleared to remove garments and I was safe to travel, I noticed that my right breast was quiet a bit smaller than my left, which previous to the surgery, it had not been. however, I assumed thats because there was swelling or fluid or something. I confirmed that nothing weird was going on and I was healing, because I had to travel to look at apartments as I was moving out of state. I was cleared, and went. When I was on my trip, I got horribly sick. I was diagnosed with cellulitis and the clinic doctor told me it was because there was actually a very small place where the inner stitching was poking through, under my armpit where I had failed to notice it due to the garment. He could not do anything about the stitch, as it was a very tiny spot where just the end of the thread was poking out and everything else had healed around it. He said it would heal all the rest of the way in a few days, and that fixing the stitch was not what was important now, the infection was. He gave me inter-muscular penicillin because my fever was quite high and the infection had spread from my left breast all the way down to my left knee and across to my right shoulder. He also gave me two weeks of antibiotics to take, gave me a script for a brand new garment, marked the outline of the infection and told me to go to the ER if it went outside the line. I got my new garment, the fever went away and the infection got better.Fast forward two weeks, I now live in a new state 2,000 miles away from the plastic surgeon. I am sick again with cellulitis. I got treatment and a reinfection four more times, even thought the stitch had healed over long since the first infection, before seeking a disease specialist and going on penicillin, 1000mg, twice a day for two years to treat the cellulitis completely. I am now cured of the disease that I could have died from due to this doctors carelessness, and to top it off, I have one breast that is a full cup size, if not more, larger than the other because he decided to 'even them out' without even asking me. Avoid at all costs.Edit to address response: how could I have come in for any follow ups if I moved across the country? Your office knew I was moving, I told the doctor several times because I wanted to me healed enough to fly. He cleared me to fly, and I went. There is absolutely nothing for us to talk about, unless youre willing to admit fault so I can sue you. I need the money, so that I can fix my uneven breasts. You very nearly killed me.

First I was told the consultation was free. They were 25 minutes late on opening up there office. I had to go to work that day so my time was limited. When they finally arrived and open up, Everything was rushed from then. They try to tell you they have better prices the Vegas doctors but they do not. I was quoted the same price as Vegas doctors. He spent no joke less than 5 minutes looking at my breast, then tells me I need a lift and he was on his way. His hands unbelievably shook the whole time, it was so bad it was unsettling. There was no talk of size, options, or what type of implant...nothing. I get dressed thinking what a complete waste of my morning. They don't care about their clients, you are just money to them period. I walk out of the room and the office lady is asking me when I want to do the procedure, I side skirt it because there is no way I was letting Dr. Shaky Hands operate on me. Fast forward 8 months ( 8 MONTHS!) they call me wanting $100 for the consultation. What? You said it was free, now you realize I am not going to have Mr. Shaky touch me you want to charge me? Out of the 6 consultation this practice has won the award for the most unprofessional and inadequate office. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GOING TO THIS PRACTICE. Find a doctor in Vegas, there is plenty and their hands don't shake!

I recently had my first appointment at Dr Peterson's office. I arrived 20 minutes early to allow time to fill out the necessary paper work. My appointment was scheduled for 3:30pm. At exactly 3:30pm I was escorted to a patient room. I was instructed to remove my clothing, watch videos about all different types of plastic surgery procedures and was told that Dr Peterson would be right in. An hour and 5 minutes later, I needed to use the rest room. I opened the door and tried to get someones attention. No luck. I left the door open hoping some one would stop by the room and I could ask to use the restroom. Just as I had made my mind up to get dressed and leave...Dr. Peterson walks in. I noted that when he looked at my chart he had not reviewed the information sheet I had filled out. He looked at my name and glanced at the bottom of the information page where I was asked to circle plastic surgery procedures I might be interested in. I scheduled this appointment to review options for removal of my excessive lipoma's. Dr Peterson said hello and ask what types of procedures I was interested in. I explained I was there to review possible options for lipoma removal. He told the cold sculpting would not work to remove the lipoma's. We chatted for a couple of minutes about other options. I informed Dr Peterson that I had recently begun working out at an gym and was hopeful to lose 35lbs over time. He suggested when I had lost the 35lbs to come back and we would discuss liposuction. Not a great first impression. I got dressed, went to the front desk to check out and was asked to wait a few minutes to discuss my treatment plan with a woman sitting in a glassed enclosed office. Again, obviously there is a lack of communication within the office.I have some thoughts I'd like to share with Dr Peterson. I have worked in the medical field for nearly 30 years. New patients are never left unchecked for more than 10 minutes. If the doctor is behind in schedule one of our staff always visits the room to explain and make sure the patient is ok waiting. At no time do we ask our patients to dis-robe prior to meeting the doctor for the first time. Patients should be told where the restroom is...just in case. Lastly, make sure all office staff including the doctor communicate.
