Dr. Urban and his staff were wonderful to work with. Our son had bone grafts, and posts put in two places in the front of his mouth. Dr. Urban made it possible for our son to finally have permanent teeth replace a retainer that was being used for keeping a space for his missing teeth for several years. I would highly recommend Dr. Urban. He is kind, patient, and professional with what he does for his patients. So glad we found him.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Urban! He performed my orthognathic (jaw) surgery to correct extensive damage from rheumatoid arthritis in my jaw. This was a complicated operation, but I completely trusted Dr. Urban. It was obvious, from our very first consultation, that he was well-qualified and invested in me. Here are some of the reasons I appreciated the outstanding care I received: Dr. Urban carefully listened to my needs and wants. He created the least invasive treatment plan possible to meet my needs. The office is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Dr. Urban is very responsive. I had frustrations with the processing of my pre-authorization. I emailed him about my concerns and he immediately called me back to resolve these issues. Dr. Urban collaborates with other experts. He was frequently in contact with my orthodontist and always willing to listen to my orthodontist's suggestions. Within the group of specialists working on my case, Dr. Urban always advocated for my specific needs and goals. He had another qualified surgeon assist during my surgery, which brought me great peace of mind.Dr. Urban treated me like family. I could feel his care and concern. He reviewed my case extensively. He dedicated extra time to get the results just right. I highly recommend Dr. Urban for a professional and excellent experience. Thank you, Dr. Urban! My experiences with you, and my successful jaw surgery, have greatly improved my quality of life.I have attached a picture of my (anterior) open bite before surgery, and my perfect bite after surgery. I could not be more please with the results!

I am a dental assistant at a general dentist and we regularly refer patients to Dr. Urban. When I decided I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed, coincidentally, Dr. Urban came to our office a few days later to visit with our office staff. I knew immediately that he was who I wanted to remove them! Im so happy I decided to go with Dr. Urban. His staff is so friendly and the office is welcoming! My surgery and recovery went great! My son needed to have his wisdom teeth removed because they were going to interfere with the work of his braces. He also needed one of his canines exposed. Michelle was very kind to explain to me how to use our dental insurance wisely (that was very much appreciated). The day of the procedures, our son was very nervous and wasnt sure what to expect. Dr. Urban and his staff did a wonderful job! They were very calm and patient with him and put him at ease. The procedures went great and my son kept saying how much he loved Dr.Urban and his staff. Highly Recommend them for wisdom teeth removal!Avoided taking my wisdom teeth out for several years as only 2 came out and I was very nervous about it! After going for a consultation at a different place, I didn't feel comfortable with their approach and decide to check out a second place. The staff and Dr Urban were very nice and informal, so I scheduled a surgery right then. The surgery went great and recovery was much better then I thought !Thank you !!

After one day, I called them, not only they didnt receive the appointment from online but also I have to wait April 23?! Could someone explain for me? Thx

A general dentist botched my son's wisdom teeth removal, shoving his tooth all the way into the sinus cavity! My son was in pain, and I was panicked. Dr Urban and his staff stayed late that night for a consult, assuaged my fears, and came in early the next day for surgery to get the tooth out. Their confidence, skill, and professionalism was superior. When my daughter needs her wisdom teeth removed, I am going straight to Dr. Urban.

This review is not a refection on Dr. Urban as he might be a great surgeon, but more for his office manager Michelle. She can comes across as condescending and combative to patients and her staff in my opinion. Michelle, I understand your staff might be new but when you make mistakes and blame them for your errors it does not bode well for your management skills. The two ladies upfront are very sweet, polite, professional and try very hard to cover for your errors and arrogant disposition. As I appreciate you offer discounts at times for your errors. I personally would prefer treatment at another surgeon's office that I feel would treat a potential paying patient accordingly. I also sympathize for the two ladies upfront having to tolerate your tyrannical demeanor. If the same two ladies are there with in the next three months, I will be surprised. I am very dismayed to leave a bad review, but obviously I have a very unpleasant opinion of how I perceive you interact with people in which I would regard as second class. Please keep in mind your behavior could be viewed as a unflattering reflection on the Doctors that refer to your office. Wishing the staff all the best and I hope it gets better.

I needed a tooth extracted and was pretty frustrated with the service at this place. The assistant (or whatever she was) that took me to the operating room kept interrupting me every time she'd ask a question and I'd try to give an answer. Then she started lecturing me on my wisdom teeth, saying that I needed them out right away and getting aggressive when I told her that my dentist had told me that the way they were tucked away, I may or may not need to worry about them coming in anytime soon and by removing them prematurely in their current state could result in permanent nerve damage. Dr. Urban wasn't any better, or less rude.Right away this dude was super snooty with me and judgmental about my stance on my wisdom teeth (which I did not come in for, nor am I in any pain from), and maintained his snooty, judgmental attitude when I'd told him I wasn't interested in getting an implant in place of my back tooth I came to get pulled.I walked out without having anything done, gone to a different surgeon a few days later to have that exact tooth extracted and was treated like an actual human being (This guy also sided with my dentist on the wisdom teeth situation.)Also Urban's office requires you to pay a 100 deposit over the phone that they actually attempted to keep as a ransom till I come back in for my next visit so it could be applied to my next procedure (or first, I guess), even after I explained to them I would not be returning. It took a few days battling with them over the phone before I finally spoke with someone who was willing to credit my 100 back to my debit card.I would not recommend this place to anyone and my experience was far from good, or professional.

First time I went to see Dr. Urban to remove two wisdom teeth was back in 2011. I chickened out and did not return until my regular dentist told me that I really needed the procedure done for my health sake. I went back to Dr. Urban to have it done. Last Friday I had my two wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Urban. During my first consultation Dr. Urban explained to me that I would probably ended up with some temporal nerve numbness because how the root of one of my teeth was right on top of the nerve. To my surprise I had no numbness after the normal one during the procedure wore out or even other common side affects like bruising, swelling and to be honest not even pain. Thanks Dr Urban and team to make my procedure a happy one to tell everyone. I should have it done years ago.

My journey started at a dermatologists office for cheek filler injections. I was very pleased with the results until there was no sign of the injections after about 6 to 8 weeks. This was expensive, $2000.00, and I was told that the injections would last for one to two years. My resolve was to find a permanent solution. I was VERY fortunate to find Dr. Urban and his excellent staff. Dr. Urban is a very kind doctor who will listen to your concerns and give you professional feedback.
