Four Seasons Dermatology Reviews

I have followed my dermatologist from UVM to here. Its clean and well organized. Appointments are right on time. No waiting. My own doctor Dr. Laura McGevna has found and removed numerous deadly melanomas and kept me going for 5 years now. She is the top 1% of her field. I drive from NYS take a car ferry and a lot of time to get here and would never change.

I have been going here for 5 years. I get a body check for melanomas, have had precancerous spots treated successfully with fluorouracil cream, and two cysts removed (skillfully done, no noticeable scar). The staff are warm and professional, see patients on time, schedule follow-up as needed with no wait for appointment, provide full information and answer questions in unhurried manner. Easy to access office, free parking. Highly recommend.

My 14 yr old daughter had a surgery appt with David Gawlik today and he was fantastic with her. she was very nervous but he made he feel very comfortable and assured her everything would be fine and it was no biggie. David and his assistant Brittany were very professional and took great care of my daughter. She left the office with a smile. Thank you everyone at four seasons dermatology. All around great office!!!!

I was threatened and told to wear a burka. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC!!! THE TREATMENT IS UNPREDICTABLE. Is Not Worth Gambling with your Health. I'm will try to shorten the unpleasant event. I was referred by my Rheumatologist to see an specific Doctor from this clinic that specialized in difficult cases. I have an uncommon condition. I have been to this place before 3 to 4 years before and I was seen by a nurse practitioner who took a biopsy of my skin and actually found out my rare condition. My muscle condition improved (which is part of my medical condition) although it took 3 years and many side effects from treatments to get to a mobility place. However my skin condition was getting worst. It fell that I was constantly burned with cigarettes butts, everything induced itch and burning pain. Heat, cold, clothes, water, creams, etc. The meds I was prescribed before by this clinic , never really worked. However, my team of Dr.'s decided to wait until I had a muscle effective treatment plan before we would focus on the skin part of my condition. The time to find a solution to the skin problem of my condition came and my Rheumatologist sudgested to me to make an appointment to this Female Dr. who specialized in difficult cases from this clinic that I have seen before as the meds they prescribed at the time never worked. I called the office ask for an appointment with the Famous Dr., explained why. The day of the appointment arrived and I found out I was been scheduled with the nurse practitioner. I want to mentioned that I have nothing against her, that was why when I saw her, although I explained that my Doctor had requested another Doctor and explained why, I agreed to see her. I went back to my Doctor (Rheumatologist}with no recommendations or advice. She wasn't able to help me. My Rheumatologist was very upset on how I was ignored and how her referred was ignored. She asked me to make another appointment but this time to make sure it was with the Dr. she referred me to {I was in my right to ask for the Doctor I was referred to} and again they tried to schedule me with the nurse practitioner. I insisted to see the Dr. I was referred, so I finally was scheduled with the Dr. I was referred. The day of the appointment came. I was asked to seat at the examiner table, which I did. All of the sudden, A Female Doctor that I have never spoke to or seen before opened the room door that I was in, with force and using foul language. I just thought, it wasn't about me; maybe a previous patient, after all I have never had a word with her. Then she got very closed to my face in a threatening matter while she was using insulting words. That is when I realized, she was actually in rage, insulting me!!!!. I honestly couldn't make sense of her destructive, abusive, racist behavior. I comment 'it seems that you are upset and somehow you think is my fault, but I don't understand what is going on.' She decided to look at my record and asked me then what I was doing there and why. I explained again that I was referred by my Rheumatologist to see her as the meds that were prescribed 3 years ago do not work and been that she is an expert of difficult cases, she wanted to know her opinion in the matter. I show her some of the affected area and she screamed at me to wear a burka. {How ofensive!!! and disrespectful!!!} She follow by saying that I was not allowed to come to the facility any longer, at least to see her. I called to provide a complain, over and over since then and no one ever contacted me, to explained what the Heck happened???I worked in medical facilities before for private and public services and Asking to see a doctor that a patient has been referred to is not a big deal. If they don't want to see anymore clients or It can't be seen until next calendar year, the front desk assistant usually say so. I refuse to believe that is the cause for the abusive behavior.

I brought my teenager to their esthetician, Jacqueline, at the suggestion of on of the PA's in the practice. I was VERY skeptical and hesitant to make the appointment as I thought it would be very expensive and they'd try to sell us a lot of things. I was so wrong! Jacqueline was amazing and took such good care of my daughter, and she is so knowledgeable. She is a wonderful healthcare professional!

Not only did they say they would take the insurance (which they didnt and was charged $150+) they also misdiagnosed a common yet serious condition which should be an easy catch for a 'Doctor'. Poor customer service over the phone and simply a poor practice. Truly a 1/5 experience.

I was seen for a small lesion on my face that required a biopsy and two days later a diagnosis of Basel Cell Carcinoma. Erin and her team were extraordinarily professional, comprehensive in their approach and acted as if I was their only patient. They were reassuring and answered all of my many questions. After my diagnosis, they even made my appointment to have a consult with a top notch surgeon. My surgery was successful and I am now on the mend. I could not have asked for better or more effective care.Thank you to everyone at Four Seasons Dermatology!!

I was pleased with the professionalism of the Four Seasons Dermatology staff. For one thing, l was happy with the speed that my appointment was handled. In particular, l was impressed with the knowledge, expertise and willingness of Physician Assistant Erin Primiano to take the time and answer all my questions. This is a dermatology practice l have confidence in and would highly recommend.

Ive seen Erin twice, once for a skin check and once for a steroid injection. Both experiences were great. The office is quite efficient; I had to wait for a bit for one appointment because the person behind me took extra time- that happens. No harm done. The staff is friendly and attentive, also. Erin is direct and to the point, which I appreciated. She is reassuring when everything is ok. I am perfectly comfortable recommending this office to anyone.

Please go elsewhere. This place cares more about profit than patient care. I was misdiagnosed with 'eczema' but after a few months of my rash not going away I went to another dermatologist who knew right away that I had SCABIES which is contagious!!! Please stay away, I still haven't been reimbursed.

Service was friendly and helpful. I found Dr Licata to be knowledgeable and had good physician to patient interaction. Dr. Licatas aid was also very friendly and welcoming. She was very comfortable with her tasks, followed directions well and gave me a brochure containing information regarding skin cancer which I needed.

I have a history of melanoma in my family and came in for a full body skin check. I saw Brian Weinstein and was not impressed! Nice guy but odd bedside manner. Quickly glanced at my skin, awkward overall experience. I pointed out the site he ended up doing a punch biopsy on. Since I'm a nurse he basically just assumed I'd take my own stitches out. I didn't object thinking it would be a doable task. 10 days later, his stitches were so difficult to remove, it took a fellow nurse half an hour of digging to get them out. Needless to say I won't have a pretty scar and am very disappointed! I love my old dermatologist in Michigan and know how this should properly be done. They should take their time, examine your skin from head to toe, preferably with more than the blind eye, and leave you with a much prettier scar! I will say the office staff was very accommodating and pleasant.... but overall go elsewhere or try a different doctor.

These people have terrible customer service! My wife was 15 minutes late for a appointment today due to traffic. First they gave her slot to another patient who was there, which is understandable. BUT THEN THEY REFUSED TO SEE HER AT ALL WHICH IS INEXCUSABLE ! Clearly, they have too much business for their own good!

My appointments here were always quick and to the point. I can see why others would feel rushed but for what I was visiting for that was preferable. If you're looking for an in-depth and very personal experience I would most likely not recommend, but for an efficient and straightforward appointment this place is fine.

Terrible! My husband went to see about a bad skin condition on his hands. Doctor said it was just dry skin but didnt search for reason for condition. He said to put lotion on it! Basically treat the symptom not the cause. Not more than 7 minutes was spent with the doctor. Just a money factory that doesnt care for patient.

Was scheduled within a week for my first appointment, which is great because being a new patient usually means waiting forever to get on the schedule. I saw Brian Weinstein and I was very disappointed. He sat with me for all of 5 minutes, barely looked at my skin, suggested it could be a lot of things, prescribed me several things, and then left without explaining any of it to me. He was very rushed to leave the entire time. Not to mention I believe he misdiagnosed me and I'm going to get a second opinion elsewhere.

Yesterday was our first visit. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give them a 20. We were treated like royalty and we did not have to wait to see the doc. Very professional staff.

Giving this spot 2 stars because Sue in billing was a real gem. Other than that, the $216.82 bill I received for literally a 45 second skin check was not.

Went in for a rash that is scarring and when I mentioned to the dr about my concerns of how it looks he said it would be apart of my natural crease line soon.Disgusted that a dude that looks like that is such a jerk. Especially nicking the part of skin that was over an apparent vein. The look on his assistants face was pure shock. Very disappointed that I did not just walk out. I let him further scar me.

(Translated by Google) I was only 15 years old when my mother (40 years old) kept telling me that she had pain in her right arm. She was running both Lachine hospitals without having any answer. (However, the pain worsens and she moves less). ... Do not work because of what was happening at night with her pains, a few days later I ask her to go to a bigger and better hospital so have an appointment with Dr. Katz.My boyfriend had a car so we go to the rendezvous we (mom and I) go in the room Doc shows me some truck to relieve his pain for short time but for mom it was a huge rescue. After blood test and then a biopsy of the 'mole' which is actually a melanoma disguised as a mole.Shortly after a call that says to go see Dr. Katz, know that after review if the doc want to see you he has what!Yesiii It is the ..... MLANOME .... THE CANCER ........The end of the world came to visit me, I try to encourage mom but I'm so young that I do not really know how to do it !!!A week later she entered the hospital she said ... 'he will not have my job I will heal' the doc calls us for a meeting but a reason I do not know I was not able to go and it was to tell the family that they could not do anything !!When I make them say the family decided not to tell my mother so she was thinking of going back to work and talking about the plans she had ..... it was really difficult because I know that any day could to be his day !!!I'm walking without a vehicle I'm 15 years old, my father calls me and tells me if you want to see mom one last time come, I went to her side lying flattering her head and I told her that in Because she was English she will understand. She had lots of bosses and every boss was a tumor (cancer) ..... my life took a different path and seeing that this disease is hereditary I was watching me they found two with no normal cells so little surgery ot remove it has one that has pushed the doctor to go to root.I got kidnapped 6 who was not normal, and my daughter too ..It's been 27 years that part and it is the most horrible thing a horror for me, I found myself alone with a family that I did not really know !!I am alive, I have 3 children (of the same father) and I have 3 small children and the 4th on the way!
