I came to correct the scarring tissue from a piercing gone wrong, and I can honestly say the results have been amazing. The place is well-decorated, the people are really nice, and the doctors are amazing. Since being a patient here, I feel like I have gained back my confidence. I no longer cover up my ears in public.

I came to this practice following a aesthetician RN that went to work here. She ended up retiring, and I decided to try Shelly. I have not been disappointed. I see both Shelly and Sherri for different procedures and they are both wonderful. They are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They listen and offer solutions based on needs. I left a practice that was operated by a master aesthetician with no doctor on site. Her treatment plans changed with the wind...depending on what kind of deals she was being given at the time. Very sketchy! That is not the case with Montante Plastic Surgery. I look forward to my appointments, even the check in process is a delight. Todd at the front desk is charismatic and a true joy to chat with. Not mention knowledgeable about the procedures offered. On my last appointment I met Dr. Montante, we chatted extensively about a hobbie that we both enjoy. He is down to earth and not pretentious in any way. Highly recommend!

I went during lunch and no one was even at the front desk until 15 minutes after my appointment time. They made me wait another 30 after I checked in. My appointment was at 12:15 and I didnt get called back until after 1. The guy working at the front desk was literally screaming at some woman on the phone and then gossiping about it the whole time I was there. They never apologized for the wait and then the woman who did my botox seemed weirdly inexperienced. She gave me the wrong number of units and tried to kind of cover it up by saying she did it on purpose. The whole experience was pretty odd. In my last city I just went to this woman with a private practice and it was so quick, in and out in around 15 minutes. I ended up missing a meeting for this one. This was a few months ago and I've already had to go to another place to fix the poor job that they did. Would not recommend!

I just recieved a breast augmentation from Montante and not only was it the best experience, I got the best results from his trademark techniques. Dr. Montante is the only plastic surgeon that does this special technique- inserting the implant under the facia tissue. This tissue from my knowledge is above the muscle but under the Breast tissue. I will let him go into more detail; however Im here to tell you that this is the best way to do an implant. I had no actual pain during recovery. Recovery consisted of a deep but super manageable soreness. I didnt have to take a single pain killer. After the initial 3 days that the Anastesia is still in your system, I felt normal again. Awake an coherent. Sleeping more than usual and still a little sore but really mostly just relaxing with minimum movement. At day five i was trying on all my clothes :). At week 2 they are set in place and soft again. Acting like more normal breast tissue. All my clothes look way cuter and I feel more feminine than ever. I no longer have to find and wear pushup bras to try and help fill out what was missing. As a female, its life changing. Also do to this placement of implant, my breasts will never jump around however they do have a perfect natural movement. In fact I dont even have to wear a bra if I dont want to. Its incredible. And because no muscle tissue was touched I will have no problem working out etc after a full 6 weeks of healing time. This method is perfect for every female but also is perfect for females with an active lifestyle. I cant say enough how happy I am. Everything couldnt have worked out better. I am so very thankful!!

After my husband suffered a catastrophic knee injury, Dr. Montante performed a muscle flap and a skin graft and both healed beautifully. We feel very lucky he agreed to take this on and truly believe his excellent care was integral in his healing. His staff was lovely and their patient and caring demeanor was an uplifting bonus during an extremely difficult time. We highly recommend this practice.

Today I had Botox and filler by Shelley Montante, NP. After 2 MDs, and another NP in the Richmond area doing the same for me and not impressed with results, I thought I would give the practice and Shelley a try. They have a beautiful space and the latest and greatest tools, and the staff is really stellar. I felt very comfortable being there and parking was easy. But, the proof is in the pudding at the end of the day about how the Botox and fillers turn out. It does come down to that for me, and I can say without a doubt, Shelley Montante, NP is a really good injector! There are so many people doing these services, and Ive been having it done for years, even worked in the aesthetics field myself for over a decade, so Im pretty hard to impress. When you are faced with so many options, at the end of the day, it is about results, and it takes time to navigate a new city to find your people. Its a relief that I have a place to go and not waste money and be unhappy with poor services. I know I will have good treatments with Shelley. She takes her time, shes precise, an artist in a way, and she exudes the qualities of a really awesome NP. Im writing this review to let others know the answer to your question where should I go for Botox and filler?...as I had the same question...Shelley Montante, NP. Youll thank this review later.

I waited over one hour for an excision of a bump on my arm. The receptionist told me when I got there my card couldnt be charged because their machine was down so they would need a copy of my card until the next day. When I went in on a previous visit to get a consultation the surgeon didnt even show up. I should have known then. While I was waiting call Tyrone came on their overhead radio. Cussing in a business place, Classy. I am extremely disappointed. I drove an hour both ways to get to the appointment. I will go to someone who wants and appreciates my time and business.

Dr. Montante is an awesome surgeon! He has the best personality and energy. His energy was everything to my husband and I as we decided who we were going to go down this road with. Dr. Montante was very understanding of the emotional rollercoaster I was on dealing with going thru with this surgery or not. Yesterday, I was escatic to have my next rejuvenation appointment with Erin Stratton, at Dr. Montante's beautiful new office! I arrived and sat in the waiting area for approximately 5-10 minutes before anyone said hello or acknowledged my presence. When I originally walked in, I spoke directly to Todd, as I always do. He never raised his head, nor looked at me. I'm sure he saw me walk in. I truly felt as if I wasn't welcome. There were 2 other ladies behind the desk, whom I did not know, and they were more interested in discussing what to do on the computer, than welcome a cliet. (Although one of the ladies did say good morning, as she rode up on the elevator with me). There was only 1 other patient in the waiting room, and she was told that her provider was running late. After about 10 minutes, Todd looked up at me and said he was signing me in, and handed me the botox paperwork to sign. The 'personal touch' I received in the past was gone, and it really saddened me. This was not the welcoming manner I've received in the past. After this front desk experience, it is making me think twice about returning for any other treatments. On the bright side, Erin Stratton, as always, was fabulous! Erin has been treating me for years at several other locations, and I have never felt like a second class citizen, until yesterday. I used Dr Montante a few years ago at richmond aesthetic surgery. I felt great with him doing my tummy tuck because he had a great personality. He reassured me that my tummy tuck would be great. That my stomach would be flat. I researched him, checked out pictures (that I thought were done by him). This made me feel safe about using him. My Surgery went well at least I thought. The first week I noticed my stomach was huge which I expected my stomach to be swollen from the surgery. After a month my Stomach was huge like I was pregnant. I check with the office, made appointments on the Normal to check the progress and they felt my stomach wasnt big. They told me that my pants were too tightAnd I should wear workout pants. Which I did. This was a total disappointment for me because I really had to save for this surgery. It was a gift to myself after having 2 kids. After I complained to Dr. Zemmel the head dr. He required Dr. Montante to go back in and tighten my stomach muscles again. This still Didnt help so I stopped going to any of the appointments because I felt dumb for getting a major surgery like this which left me with a huge cut and a fat stomach. I felt no one really understood how bad this was for me. It took me over 2 years to be able to write a review on this. Dr. Montante is no longer with richmond aesthetic surgery but hes still practicing at this time. I recommend 2 of my friends to richmond aesthetic surgery. One of my friends used Dr. Montante and my other friend used Dr. Zemmel. My friend who used Dr. Montante had the same experience that I did. My friend who used Dr Zemmel had the best experience of her life. She loved her outcome. Im so sad I didnt pick dr. Zemmel. I went to another dr to see if this could be fixed and he said I would need to have surgery again. Im soSad hurt and disappointment.

Erin Stratton, NP-BC, did a wonderful job. She was very professional and knowledgeable, making me feel very comfortable (I tend to get very nervous in medical situations.) I had a number of sessions of laser hair removal and the outcome is wonderful. I would say +90 percent of the hair is gone. I wish I had gotten the procedure done much sooner!

I definitely recommend Montante and his staff for your plastic surgery needs. The surgery I got was actually my 2nd time getting it done due to not completing correctly. However I went to Montante's office for my consultation and instantly felt like they knew what the were doing and would do it right. I came to Richmond Aesthetic Surgery to talk about having a breast reduction. I was greeted by a very friendly and courteous staff that put me at ease as soon as I walked in. I had 2 other consultations before meeting with Dr Montante and I knew immediately that I wanted him to be my surgeon. His bedside manner is impeccable and he took his time explaining the procedure to me and answering all of my questions. I signed up for surgery and felt very comfortable with my decision. I am now 2 weeks after surgery and I feel great. My husband loves my results and said that it looks like I had an augmentation instead of a reduction! I could not be any happier than I am and cannot say enough about how great the entire process has been. I recently received treatment on December 16, 2017 by Dr. Montante for a chicken pox scar (revision) and a mole removal. I have to say that the scar revision is healing nicely and looking much better than I have ever expected. The same goes for the mole removal. During the consultation, he goes over the treatment options and what would be the best for you. You can tell he is passionate about his work, which is why I chose him in the first place. I wish nothing but the best for Dr. Steven Montante, his wife Shelly Montante, MSN LNP and his staff. They all deserve 5 stars.

I have had botox and fillers under her care.
