Very unsatisfied with service and attitude. Went back with my concerns and was told not his fault. Was told that I came to him with the problem. Exactly....Did not expect to leave $$$$$ with the same problem. He said he would do more surgery at an additional cost$$$$I really don't like leaving bad reviews but the issue is still bothering me a year later. His nurse and staff were all very nice and professional.

He was very nice, HOWEVER, my experience wasnt a good one. I had a breast augmentation in January this year , the implant on my left side did not fall causing me to need a revision to lower the inframammary fold. I had the revision in April and once healed (about a month) felt the crease was too low. I brought my concerns to the doctor and showed him how when i lifted my arms my left implant basically fell completely down An did not have a normal breast shape. His response was that it was not as round as the other but that he didnt think the risks of a third surgery were worth the subtle differences. I left the office and went to another doctor for a second opinion, this doctor told me the implant was bottomed out and would also require stitching to the side because it was now too far over as well. I went back to Dr. Thomas again with concerns of the implant because it is painful at times and another plastic surgeon saw what I saw. Again I was told things looked fine an the crease didnt need to be raised. I left and had a third opinion, and was told by a third plastic surgeon the implant was completely bottomed out and would need to be repaired. I cant wear a bathing suit top because of how low this left crease is and the implant ripple is completely visible. I was not small chested before and I did not get a large implant. This has been an extremely costly price to pay as the revision I am facing will cost near what the original surgery did. I know things can happen and he seems to have great reviews, I just wanted to share my personal experience.

Dr. Barton Thomas did my reconstruction from a botched job that another dr did and my results have been amazing. I heard he was an awesome dr that did awesome work and I'm so glad I took the leap of faith and contacted him. I'd recommend him to anyone he is simply great at his job. I love him

After speaking on the phone and asking some questions the RUDE receptionist made it clear that a medically necessary reconstructive surgery they don't do. Primarily the money! Medicare does not pay enough. What is the medical profession coming to? A week later a neighbor told me It was a blessing in disguise. He is listed with some good reviews throughout the internet but gave me four sites that his reviews made my head swim. The receptionist needs to get another job.

Dr. Thomas is Amazing.He is a perfectionist, his work is beautiful.I love his staff and I have been his patient for over 10 years!If you want to feel like your completely cared for this practice exemplifies this from the beginning to the end.

After 3 pregnancies and a 100 pound weight loss, no amount of exercising was going to fix my excess skin on my stomach. After my tummy tuck I can wear a bikini and feel 100% confident. The scars are hardly noticeable. I actually have a 4 pack. The office staff said I would be able to bounce a quarter off my abs when he's done.... They were right. It's been 4 years and my core just keeps looking better. Best surgeon in Roanoke! Hes very particular on his procedures. Very anal. A perfectionist. That's the kind of person you want to do this surgery!

Went to see him to see about reconstruction surgery last year. He is very thorough in going over the procedure, great bedside manner and even though I did not get this done then, I will be having surgery soon as I have cancer again. This will be bilateral reconstruction this trip. Hope to get things underway soon.

I had a breast reduction and dr Thomas was the best. He and his staff are very nice and make you feel right at home and comfortable. They even called to check on me after my surgery. I was more than 100% pleased with dr Thomas and my surgery!

The office staff is friendly and the first experience with the Dr. was good, had a simple procedure to remove some places that were causing pain in my side underneath the skin.About a month and a half after surgery I went back because the pain was still persistent, Dr. said it could be a stitch that didn't fully dissolve.4 months or so after went back again because the pain is still bothersome and it still feels as if there is a hard place underneath the skin where the surgery was performed, Dr. insists nothing is there and that I may have to just deal with the pain.Will not be going back and will be seeking medical attention elsewhere, I feel the followup visits were not helpful and Dr. acts as if there's no possible way he missed anything during the surgery.Me possibly being in pain for the rest of my life after a surgery that was supposed to fix the problem is an unacceptable answer.
