I wish that I had experienced the warm and welcoming staff that others did however since my BMI was too high I was told that Dr Peters wouldnt meet with me but Dr Miles would. Laura was terse and dismissive on the phone. Then my appointment was canceled because they couldnt reconcile the referral my PCP had sent. Im disappointed but happy to figure this out prior to working with this office medically.

Over ten years I had gradually lost 70 lbs through a change in diet and hard work via exercise; dropping to 145 from 214 left me with a noticeable amount of excess skin throughout my body, the area around my mid-section being the most apparent. Dr. Peters treated me with the utmost respect and instilled a sense of confidence and safety in the major procedure I underwent. She tailored the operation around my lifestyle goals, making sure my concerns were heard and never rushing me through any of the pre-op process. The actual skin removal was met with a clot complication, no fault of Dr. Peter's, and in this moment she made the executive decision to preserve my health in the long term. At no point did I feel truly scared or lacking faith in her ability (any scare I had was in my own head). When all was said and done I cried out of sheer happiness. I could see my belly button. I could wear a bikini. Scarring was as expected and is fading over time. Post-op care and visits were of a high quality, with Dr. Peters going as far as to answer my phone call with concerns as late as 11pm at night. Though the healing process isn't fast (this is expected) I believe that I healed in a reasonable amount of time thanks to her efforts. I would readily recommend her services (and the Swedish Plastics office staff in general) for anyone seeking plastic surgery. Please accept my sincere gratitude for enhancing the quality and confidence in my life.

I recently had major surgery that was performed by Doctor Mary Lee Peters. I was pretty terrified by the prospect of surgery overall, possible complications and what the end results would be. Doctor Peters was kind, understanding, knowledgeable and honest throughout the whole procedure. She kept me informed and calm. I just had a breast reduction surgery one month ago, it is an amazing experience, I'm expecting a very tough period of recovery, but the fact is I didn't take any pain killer after the surgery, its a magic! If you're thinking about breast augmentation surgery, then look no further because you have found the perfect surgeon. Dr. Peters is extremely knowledgable, has many years of experience and knows what you want even if you can't quite explain it yourself. She's professional, caring, careful and thorough. Compared to a dozen other surgeons I researched, Dr. Peters was the only one I found who gave women what they wanted and looked good on them rather than what she wanted to see - she listens to you very carefully. I had no qualms, concerns or questions throughout the days leading up to the surgery and even on the surgery day itself. I don't think I've ever walked into a doctor's office, especially right before surgery, feeling as calm as I did on my surgery day - THAT'S how much I trusted in Dr. Peters and I knew she was going to take extremely good care of me. Dr. Peters is complemented by a WONDERFUL staff. Azaria, Virginia and Celia, to name a few of the great gals I met, made me feel comfortable and answered every single one of my questions. I know they've heard all my questions hundreds of times before but they made me feel as though I was their primary patient and all of their attention was for me. They were all kind, thoughtful, patient and understanding. I absolutely love the results of my surgery and I was never in pain, just discomfort from the surgery for about a week, which I was informed about. I walked into Dr. Peters's office hoping to simply have larger breasts, but I came out feeling more confident and brave than I ever have before. I feel like who I am is finally reflected on the outside.

I saw many before and after photos before my surgery, let me tell you, mine look nothing like the beautiful photos, my right nipped falls in when I lay down, the scars are aweful and my dog ears were not even touch, needless to say extremely disappointed and I feel deformed

Dr Peters is a very kind compassionate provider. I explained that I no longer wanted breast implants because my mother had passed away from breast cancer. I had since implants pose additional risks, because an implant could mask or hide a cancer lesion during a mammogram. Dr Peters was very compassionate, understanding and has a sense of humor, too! Would highly recommend Dr Mary Lee Peters!!
