Arkansas Bone and Joint Orthopedic Surgery Reviews

Wow, my experience was very positive. Some people you just cannot please. I am still a patient so all I can say is thank you. If you have a problem here you might want to check your record. I bet you never get good treatment anywhere. The only complaint would be at first I was use to people answering the phone and here you need to leave a message. But as I got use to it, that is not a problem, not a big deal for me.

Dr Walsh been Sarah's Ortho Doctor since she was 8. Dr BAILEY I see him in ER all the time and he is funny, personable, great bedside manner and you can tell he loves his job! Dr BAILEY is my favorite! I heard lots of good things about Dr Lorio. Robin's mom loves him! Beautiful waiting room!

If I could give Arkansas Bone and Joint a zero, I would. Arkansas Bone and Joint refused to work with my insurer, USAA, when I was injured in an auto accident on July 4. USAA had asked that I simply forward all bills to them for any care provided. Instead, AB&J demanded to bill my primary health insurance provider. When I asked them not to do that because that always becomes a paper chase, they insisted that I make full payment for services ahead of time. I walked out and remain injured because AB&J apparently doesnt really care about the health of their patients.

Dr. Johnson himself is wonderful but the clinic as a whole is lacking. Front desk staff always act like they are irritated when someone comes to the front to check in or out and everytime I come I sit and wait for 40 mins plus in a room without anyone coming in to check on me or give me status updates on my physician. This place needs new management

I have been to see Dr. Walsh a couple of times, very knowledgeable and direct. (Which I appreciate) Great people! Staff is on point and very polite. Will definitely go back if I have anymore issues that they can help me with.

This place has a sweet setup if youre into monopolies. They catch all the business from the ER at Saline Memorial so professionalism and accountability really dont apply to this outfit. The front desk workers are really rude and always in a bad mood, acting like youre unconvincing them being there. The billing is a joke as they WILL NOT do third party billing.! What kind of business refuses to work with the customer on collecting their money owed. Not to mention the lady over billing is extremely difficult to deal with and has shown she cant be flexible and work with customers. She never answers the phone and insists you leave a message exactly how she wants it or as she states... you wont get a call back. Some of the worst customer care I have ever seen at a Medical facility

Dr. Lorio's bedside manner is significantly lacking. I'm 43 years old with a history of foot problems. For the most part, I look fine, function fine but have had a recent issue that never got better. He asked me if I walked on the side of my foot. What?!?! He was very dismissive of my problem, as well as my historical recounts of past issues. I've since received a diagnosis I am confident in, and it's nowhere remotely what his diagnosis for my issue was. He told me his diagnosis and told me to 'look it up' when I left to see if that sounded like my symptoms (not one symptom matched, by the way). I lo e paying $200 to be told to Google something, essentially. I felt like my issue was below him since it wasn't a complex orthopedic issue. His nurse actually said to me, 'when you're in pain, that's your body's way of telling you it's unhappy.' Thanks, lady! I had no idea! Avoid this place.

The provider(s) and clinical staff were all beyond excellent and I would give them a 5 star just for their work. However, the front desk/administration was the worst customer service experience Ive ever had. I walked in on crutches, stood at the counter patiently waiting for the woman at the desk to have a moment to assist me. She continued to ignore me however, so I greeted her and advised I needed to check in. She gave me the look of death and nodded at the clipboard in front of me. This woman had dark hair, black or brown and was wearing it in a top knot on her head. Dark red lipstick and middle aged. I asked if I just simply write my name on the login sheet? Her response yup. So about 10 mins later after waiting I felt I wasnt in the right area because I could see another waiting room towards the back and I hadnt heard anything or completed any paperwork. So I went up to the desk, politely asked if I was waiting in the right area and if there was any paperwork or insurance info I needed to provide? This same horrible woman said yeah I didnt have a chance yet, fill this out and the waiting room is back there. Thankfully another patient waiting stepped in and gave me a wheelchair as I was on crutches. The woman at the desk couldn't have cared less. I could have stood there for 20 mins on crutches and she wouldnt have had a single thought of sympathy cross her mind. Of note when I did hand in the completed paperwork this same woman sharply snapped at me to get my insurance card. She proceeded to say I had a $40 copay. I get out my wallet (while struggling on crutches mind you) and she goes well unless you had surgery. I said I did have surgery a few days ago and she goes Oh nevermind no copay then. Sit in the waiting room, doctor will call your name (short, rude and completely unapologetic). The manner in which this woman speaks couldnt be more dreadful and condescending. Shes irritated with your general presence so dont bother trying to kill it with kindness because it will not phase her. We then waited 1.5 hours past our appointment to be seen. Like I said, the doctor and nurses were so sweet and kind however, the front desk ruined the entire experience and it was quite honestly disgusting how they treated patients walking in the door. The woman at the front desk should never have a job working with people ever in her life. She is the most insensitive, rude, incompetent and classless human being. I absolutely understand that people have bad days and she could have been having one but I find it hard to believe that woman has ever been pleasant or remotely polite to anyone in her entire life. As a result, I have to rate the entire facility as a 1 star. I feel that strongly about how I was treated by administration. Not even to mention the 1.5 hours I spent in the waiting room with zero comment from anyone on staff about a delay or running behind schedule.

The out patient therapy department is great. Anita up stairs is the nicest person! The office down stairs could take a lesson from her.

I had both knees replaced 12/26/17. Dr. Walsh, his staff, and the recovery staff at Saline Memorial Hospital are just AWESOME!!! I'm now in out patient rehab at Dr. Walsh's office, the staff here is also Awesome. I'm not the best at being a patient, I'm very impatient...lol. Dr. Walsh and his staff keep me going. I've had a small setback, which I discovered is normal. I have the utmost confidence and respect for all involved in my recovery. I have a little ways to go yet, but with the support of Dr. Walsh and staff, I'll be fine in no time! Thank Each and Every Person Involved in my Operation and Recovery. Very Sincerely, R. Whitaker

I have enjoyed many fantastic Dr/PT/medical offc service (my other reviews speak to this). For AR Bone and Joint - it would be awesome if they gave all their staff some serious R&R paid time off to hopefully lighten up the atmosphere. After many visits here, I discovered I'd rather drive a bit further for what I'll admit is highly caring, comforting, and kind service from either Larry at Saline hospital PT or Exceptional PT in Benton, AR. You don't have to use their office/PT even after you see their Drs. No opinions on the MDs, but learned you can pick your own favorite PT provider - and some insurance doesn't even require a referral. Wish I had known this.

Who ever Dr Walshs helper is has no bed side manner whatsoever. He is extremely rude and just did a lot of heavy sighing because he cant figure out whats wrong with me so they pass me off to another doctor. Never saw Dr Walsh at all..... Will not be returning to this clinic!!!!

Dr. Walsh and his staff are shady and unethical, not to mention incompetent. The front office receptionists have no clue what they are doing. Several times i had to ask to pay my copayment because they didnt even know i had one. Then one time they took a payment from me and scanned my card on a 'new scanner' the lady said.. well they conveniently 'lost my payment' and even when i brought in bank statements, they still didn't believe me and the financial manager then cornered me in her office and proceeded to question me about whether i even used my PIN correctly in a condescending tone and then blamed me for the whole 'accident' while demanding the payment for a second time and refusing to allow me to see my doctor, Dr. Walsh. I was there to get my CT scan results because i have been having continued pain and trouble with my hip replacement since i recieved it January of 2017 from Dr. WALSH, who promised a speedy recovery. He always insisted i would get better then after a year of discomfort and disability he finally ordered a scan. However, I was then banned from the office completely when i bolted the office they cornered me in and demanded to see Dr. Walsh in full panic attack mode. The police were called because i wasn't quiet about how they were treating me and i wouldn't allow them to touch me or force me to sit down. Even though the officers were sympathetic, they informed me i couldn't return to the property without being arrested for trespassing. Since then, the staff in his office refused to fax any of my records and results to a new doctor, causing me to not be able to keep that appointment. And all this happened after I asked for my financial and medical records to look into the 'missing' copayment. I later found out most of my documents were copy and pasted and completely inaccurate. I do not trust this doctor, his staff, or his hospital of choice Saline Memorial at all.
