Excellent care. Things are explained to where one can I understand. All questions are answered , even if there is multiple ones. Every option is giving to you to choose which one is best for you. The only set back is the wait can sometime a very long time. However, the quality of care of worth the wait!

It seems everyone is given the same time to come in (around 8-8:30), so we have a while to wait. However, there is tv, so that's not too bad for us older folks. Also, I always forget to tell them about the numbness in my surgical arm. Will the felling on the inside of my arm eventually return? It's not a big deal, just curious?Sunny Nye

I went from a horrible experience with an incompetent Ortho Into Dr. Vanek's office for a second opinion. He was everything a good sergeon should be and more. ! Very odd place to have a doctors office. Once you roll in, wow...the entire staff is great. The doc was very thorough and great at explaining things in laymen's terms. The nurse was on spot too, very studious as well. However the wait time can be very very long. First appointment was pretty normal wait time. Other times waited 2+ hours. Seems like they need to hire a second Doctor for this office to help service more patients in the area.

I really like the people that work in Dr. Vanek office they are all very kind. Dr. Vanek I like the way he talked and explain everything about the knee, showed me the parts of the knee and how they looked. Well in other words, he classes you about everything he will be doing and what kind off knee replacement you will be getting and what will happen to you after the operation. You can ask him and his staff any questions and they will have the answer for you about your knees. I am so happy I am under their care

My experience with Dr. Vanek has been awesome. He is a no-nonsense, straight to the point doctor. He tells it like it is. No sugar coating.I feel blessed to have had him as my surgeon for my complete knee replacement & hopefully, by mid year, a shoulder replacement.His staff is knowledgeable & caring.At times, there is a lengthy wait to be seen but when you're seeing the 'best', it's worth the wait.I highly recommend Dr. Vanek...thanks to him & his staff.Sincerely, Purple a.k.a Athena

Dr Vanek was great and very informative...his staff was nice and friendly... I Went in for my right hip bone be shaved off and the process went smooth. I'm barely 2 1/2 weeks out but havent noticed much in pain difference but have notice better functionality and momentum compared to my left side which will have to go in a few weeks to get worked on....will update review after that one is done and my physical therapy comes through. Overall very happy

I've seen Dr. Vanek for three different issues and been through two surgeries with him. Dr. Vanek found my knee issue when several other Doctors had given up. Thanks to Dr. Vanek I have been without pain for over a year... His staff has always been friendly and helpful, and I've found Dr. Vanek to be very caring and always looking for the best course of action that was necessary even if it were an answer I didn't want to hear...turns out he was right in the end. Thanks Dr. Vanek!!!

Broke my Tib/Fib as of 3/28/16. Was seen next morning and had same day surgery which was all appreciated. Only thing patients should be aware of is the ridiculous fees to get paper work signed for unemployment and for time off work if your job requires your physicians signature(which if you work for corporate offices they will require it). I was charged 65$ per paperwork that required my physicians signature that could take up to two weeks to get back. And if you need it signed as soon as possible its an extra $10.00. Mind you I had to get a few extentions for unemployment and extension after extension to get more time off work. My medi-cal did not cover these fees so in total for the 4 months being off work I had to pay out of pocket aprx. $350.00. Overall Vanek was informative but those paperwork fees and long waits in the waitroom sucked. A more legitimate price of maybe $30.00 would have been reasonable, especially for people that have to be out of work due to injuries.
