The front office staff are so friendly and welcoming, the waiting area is comfortable and beautiful! They have water and tea and coffee. The support staff are considerate and get to know you - so it all feels very personal. My surgeon has been very attentive and was thorough in explaining options. I'm quite happy to have had this group on my Cancer Fighting Team.

Dr. Emily Hartman performed my surgery. I had a lipoma removed on the anterior side of my body on the shoulder/chest area. She did an amazing job! The scar is small and has been healing well- it was been 2 months since my surgery. She is such a genuinely kind and caring person. She always gives me hugs which is so sweet of her. She let me text her after my surgery in case I had any questions and boy did I have a lot (I'm a worry wart). She replied quickly every time and answered my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Hartman.

In late October I had a work-related injury that resulted in a partial amputation of my left thumb. Because my bone was exposed, reconstructive surgery was needed in order to minimize infection and to save what I had left of my thumb. Dr. Kevin Myers determined that a Moberg advancement flap was the best option to maintain full range of motion and the most thumb length possible. My overall experience here was absolutely amazing! The entire staff was very accommodating and kind and worked in a very professional matter. They were always there to answer questions when I had them. My surgery went very well, and recovery was easy. A little over two months later, I now have a fully functioning thumb with full feeling and full range of motion! I am totally impressed with the work that the healthcare staff did! Although I hope to never need any reconstructive surgery again, I would not hesitate coming back here if I needed to for any issue. 100% would recommend to friends or family.

I am 35 and was going through a lot of hard emotional decisions when I was looking for a plastic surgeon to get a double mastectomy.When I met The staff and nurses at north state I was treated so well and so pleased. After my first appointment meeting Dr. Hartmann I was so comforted and felt like she was very invested in me and my journey. Fast forward now through two surgeries and many many office visits and I am beyond thankful I chose her as my doctor. She is so professional and her knowledge, compassion, confidence and humility exceeds any doctor I have ever met or could of ever dreamed of. I would choose her as my doctor a million times over if I had to make that choice again.

Dr. Hartmann and staff treated us kindly and compassionately from our first appointment to evaluate surgical options all the way thru' the recovery/reconstruction process (after a mastectomy). I was referred to Dr. Hartmann for breast symmetry surgery after a lumpectomy for breast cancer. The results far exceeded my expectations and helped to heal not only the physical trauma to my body but also the emotional trauma. A few months later, she preformed surgery to remove excess skin from my abdomen and the results are phenomenal! She is a genuinely compassionate and caring physician, always taking time to listen to your concerns and giving emotional support when needed. Her office staff is efficient, professional, friendly and caring, a pleasure to have as part of your support team. To those looking for a very talented plastic surgeon I cannot recommend her more highly.

I was very unhappy with my experience with north state plastic surgery. I paid $100 just to find out that I cant afford their services and that they could have provided me with some free info. I think it's a sneaky way to obtain customers by tricking them into paying that upfront money when they really could've provided me with the answers I was looking for on a phone call. They want $5500 for my surgery when a specialist in the field wants 4500 and no up front fees, what a waste of time and money north state plastic surgery was to me and I'd like to save others the trouble and money I wasted.

My review for other procedures done with Dr. Hartman is and will always be 5 stars but this review is for the med spa and lip filler. I am somewhat satisfied with my lips now that it has been a few months but still have a few issues. I think I would recommend a 'what to expect flyer' to go out with each appointment who has lip filler done and then I also felt like I had more lumps than I should have and they should've been more smooth. They suggested coming in to use something to dissolve the lip filler if I was unhappy but then I'm basically just out all of my money. Next, the originally they told me I could buy the filler and not use it all if I didnt want to and it would be good for up to 6 months or a year to use it again but then after I got completely done with the procedure they te me they dont do that anymore and it would be thrown away if I didnt use it all that day so I was left with no choice.. i would've liked dr Hartman to perform the procedure instead of a nurse to be honest but also wasn't given that option and didnt know I could've until after it was done.

I saw some of the bad reviews for Northstate Plastic Surgery and debated whether I should go to my appointment. Although it was a gut feeling it proved true. I wasnt going to say anything but to prevent others from receiving horrible treatment, I will.For the most part her ratings look great, educational background looks good, and as a mother seems like someone who understands. However, Dr. Emily C. Hartmann is extremely unprofessional, and although looks/ acts caring, was unfortunately not. I went to my appointment after scheduling it months in advance and even confirmed the day of, but as soon as I arrived they sent someone to tell me she no longer does the procedure. (Thats on the official website and something she told me herself is what she loves to do) What kind of doctor makes someone travel far and tells them that they no longer do a procedure without even an explanation?! I would have been content to see the doctor at least so she could tell me to my face, but when she didnt I realized how cold and truly unprofessional she is. I am glad I got away while I still could, please save yourself the hassle of dealing with unprofessional surgeons and look elsewhere.

If I could give this place zero stars I WOULD! My sister waited a year for a appointment and when she got there today they said the doctor doesnt do RHINOPLASTYS anymore! How can a doctor stop doing surgeries WITHOUT consulting their patients? Then they wanted to charge my sister to find another doctor and do a consultation??? ( IF YOU ASK THEY WANTED TO CHARGE HER $100 JUST TO TRANSFER TO SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE IT WAS COSMETIC! ). They even called BEFORE the appointment because we had to drive far to get there and they told her it was okay to come, BUT THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING! THEY ONLY TOLD HER THAT THE DOCTOR DIDNT DO IT ANYMORE! Absolutely absurd! Save yourself time, money, and gas. Dont come here :)!

I had surgery scheduled with dr hartman yesterday at enloe. I was not treated right and being 530 am i slept with waiting my turn as they said doc was late. They called security on me had 5150 evaluation on me. Accused me of some drugs ive never heatd of. Nothing was wrong except disrespect on thier part. Surgery cancelled no explanation.now to find aother surgeon.
