I got my all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted this morning and I have nothing but good things to say!! The ladies at the front desk were so nice and helpful. Then, the staff in the back were so reassuring and very, very sweet as well. This was my first surgery that I had done, so i was VERY nervous. The girls were so great with trying to help calm me down and when the doctor was putting my IV into my arm one of the RDA's rubbed my shoulder and they were telling me it was going to be okay. I really appreciated everything they did for me during my surgery! I feel as if one thing they were very worried about was ensuring they were going to get their payment right then and there, but it's understandable considering it was a costly procedure and they could have had issues with that in the past. Overall, I had a really great experience! My boyfriend had his wisdom teeth removed back in October 2018 and he said he had a good experience as well! The only thing that I could say about his procedure was that they had to send something off for a biopsy and the bill we got from the lab was almost just as much as the wisdom tooth extraction when we were told it was going to cost 'a little extra.' Definitely recommend.

My mother broke a tooth and her dentist referred her to Surgical Arts. She is in her 90's and the office visit was for a consultation. We had to wait an hour and half for the doctor. She was very uncomfortable waiting that long.

Dr. Shaw, was really gentle, everything went smooth, she took her time explaining everything to me! I would recommend her to anyone!

They are very polite, and super super patient with my son who absolutely doesnt like the dentist. I would definitely go back there if needed.

Although the medical aspect was ok, the billing is terrible. This place was much better when Dr. DeTomasi was involved.

I was visiting the Yuba City area and searching for a reasonably priced location to have botox done and that is when I found them on google.I should have known from the very beginning when the woman that answered the phone could not answer basic pricing and unit related questions which resulted in me being transferred apparently to the Sacramento location. At that point I reached the patient coordinator, Cherie, who was super nice and informative so I had a good feeling about getting my work done here. She sent me the forms via email and asked that I have them filled out prior to my visit at the yuba city office. I arrived roughly 15 minutes prior to my appointment and handed my forms to the girls at the front who informed me that the person that typically does the paperwork is out and therefore they are not sure what needs to be filled out and that I'd need to fill out additional paperwork. At this point I was also required to give payment before even being evaluated by the doctor or knowing how many units I wanted to do. I refused to give payment ahead of time and told them I wanted to see what the doctor thought first. Mind you, I have had this done dozens of times and never once been required to pay beforehand. That just puts a bad taste in your mouth, this is supposed to be a high end hobby, that is a good way to make it seem dirty and cheap. I waited another 15 minutes to even see the doctor and for some reason have my blood pressure checked??.. Anyway, we discussed where I typically have it done and how many units we would do. Then the front desk person comes in the room and wants to take my payment! WHAT?! Absolutely inappropriate. They treat you like a criminal as if you're going to run out of the office without paying! After I had my credit card taken away, ran, signed, and given back to me he came back another ten or so minutes later to do the injections. What he did was put about 8 different injections RIGHT in the middle of my forehead. 30 units of $300 + botox RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY FOREHEAD. I have had my whole face done with the amount he put in one place. Absolutely inappropriate use of the product. I have no idea why he did that, that is absolutely not what we discussed. I left and gave it a day but called Cherie the very next day to tell her about what happened and when scratch like Mark's started showing up where the injections were made.Anyhow, jump to present, I have been working with them since August to have this issue rectified and have since been back in town and available to have it fixed. Nothing has been done to make this right and I have heard nothing from any kind of manager on the subject. I would not reccomend this company to anyone. As far as I can tell they take no responsibility for their mistakes and are unwilling to fix them even if it means leaving someone with bad results

Recently hady wisdom teeth pulled here, and it actually ended up being a very pleasant experience. I'm terrified of any sort of medical procedure, but the staff there were very reassuring and helpful. I was in and out in just over an hour and a half. Dr. Heir and his team made something I dreaded having done my whole life into something not bad at all. Would definitely recommend.

I have a very long story, to keep it short. I waited an HOUR after my schedule time just to even be seen for a consult. The Dentist came in, spoke to me for less than 2 min. (I know this for a fact because i started the 'let it go' song for my daughter before he came in and it was still on when he left the room. On top of all of that it was a 90$ visit for what seemed like nothing (because nothing even took place) they could have told me everything over the phone, so it was a huge waste of time. On top of everything apparently my insurance is out of network which they failed to tell me before i waited so long, since you know they ran the insurance. (usually i check but i was referred to this dentist by my office so i assumed they would refer me to someone i could go to). Not a good experience for me. I did not have any work done, this review is strictly for reception, wait time, and finance.
