He thoroughly explained what to expect before, the day of, and post surgery. The nurses at the surgery center also sang his praises, which further put me at ease. Dr. Yoo did something genetics cheated me out of and Ive suffered with my whole life - fixed my humongous arms. It never made a difference how fat or thin I was at a particular time, my arms stayed huge, and completely out-of-proportion to my body. After the unsightliness and discomfort finally pushed me to act, I searched far and wide to find the most highly skilled plastic surgeon, including out-of-state. Imagine my surprise when I found the best one right in my own backyard. The results are amazing. Thanks to Dr. Yoos incredible skill, I went from arms that looked like thighs to arms that are slim and graceful. I cant believe theyre mine! In addition to his expertise, Dr. Yoo is a kind and compassionate man, who spends considerable time with his patients answering questions and allaying any fears. All in all, considering the minimal pain and discomfort, outstanding results, and a compassionate surgeon, Dr. Yoo gets a 5- star rating from me, with pleasure.

I had a surgical procedure done with Dr.Yoo several months ago and I just want to say that my results are absolutely fantastic! Dr. Yoos meticulous work absolutely exceeded any picture that I had in my mind of how my results would look. After doing very extensive research on plastic surgeons who specialize in the procedure that I had done, and after many consults with numerous plastic surgeons both in NYC and in the SoCal area I decided to go with Dr. Yoo. Being in the medical field myself, choosing the right surgeon was an extremely big decision ( as it is for most people, but people in the medical field tend to be a bit more picky simply by default, in my opinion ) and I honestly could not have been any happier in my decision to go with Dr. Yoo. Dr. Yoo had more before and after photos for comparison than any other surgeon I had consulted with , and he was very realistic and honest in managing my expectations of the surgery and the results. His office manager, Sheree, was super pleasant, very knowledgeable , and always available to answer any questions that I had ( and I had a lot!). I cannot recommend Dr. Yoo enough!

I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Yoo a little over a year ago now and I am ecstatic about my results! It was by far the best decision I have made for myself. I was an A cup before surgery and now I am a solid D. I've always been a bit leery about surgery, but I decided to take the next step after I met with Dr. Yoo. I had met with 3 other prominent plastic surgeons in Newport Beach, but Dr. Yoo stood out - he was honest and informative without any of that sales-y pitch (which I got at the other three offices). If you're looking for a surgeon who is honest and has tremendous skill and talent look no further - Dr. Yoo is your guy. I'm looking to have some more work done by him - look at his other before and afters and you'll see why.

I start this review by saying Dr. Michael J. Yoo is kind and patient. I am a very nervous person, so this means I was a nervous patient. I started discussing having the procedure around a year before I finally had the procedure. Dr. Yoo did an incredible job on my Lower Face Lift. He took the time over and over to explain the procedure with me. Once I had the procedure, I kept coming to the office to make sure everything was alright. Never once did Dr. Yoo rush me out of the office. I recommend Dr. Yoo to everyone. Dr. Yoo is an expert in his field. Dr. Yoo is a rare jewel of a doctor and a wonderful human being. I am so happy with the results. Everyone tells me how wonderful I am looking.

I'm overdue in sharing this review, but wanted to pass along my recommendation for Dr. Yoo. He was actually recommended to me by a friend who had a septoplasty a couple years ago, and after hearing that I had some nasal structure issues after a previous surgery years ago, I was definitely looking for a doctor that I knew was trusted by a friend. My surgery ended up being significantly more complicated than expected, and Dr. Yoo was able to diagnose and come up with a solution while I was under during surgery. I always felt 100% safe in his hands and would highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Yoo!!

I had a labiaplasty performed by Dr. Yoo early last year and could not be more happy with the result. It took me some time to finally schedule a consultation; as you can imagine it's not the easiest thing to reveal yourself this way! Dr. Yoo was kind, open, honest and understanding. He is straight forward and very personable - no 'salesy' stuff here folks. I loved his before and afters and he has way way more photos posted on his website than anyone in the area which is obviously a reflection of how good he is at this surgery. I definitely made the right choice. Only wish I did it sooner.

So I decided to take the plunge and get a nip and tuck of my lady parts a few months back. I always wanted something done but really had no clue there was a surgery for this. Labiaplasty? Who ever heard of that? I did a search and Dr. Yoos name came right at the top. Scheduling a consultation was easy and the office was very flexible and accomodating. The day of the consultation I was definitely nervous, but I was immediately put to ease by his calm demeanor and confidence. He was thorough and answered all my questions. Afterwards I had some thinking to do and talked to my boyfriend. I met with a few other surgeons but ultimately decided to go with Dr Yoo because he just seemed the most genuine. He also has a lot more before and after photos than anyone else I saw.The day of the surgery came and went. I was definitely sore for the first few days but by the end of the week it was ok. The doctor was dead on on what to expect. Its about 3 months later and I am so happy I did it.

Dr. Yoo was amazing!He did a tummy tuck for me and I love my results! He is so caring and compassionate and really took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions, never making me feel rushed. He is a true perfectionist and an artist! His work is perfection! He really takes the time for the best result possible. Prior to the surgery, I was so concerned that the scar would be so high on my stomach like others I have seen, but was so pleasantly surprised to see the scar is well hidden under a bikini! Absolutely thrilled I chose Dr. Yoon to perform my rhinoplasty. I was definitely nervous about the whole thing but after meeting with Dr. Yoon it was clear he knew he would do an amazing job. (Spoiler alert- he didn't disappoint) I love the fact that he didn't try to drastically change my appearance. People can't even tell I went under the knife but my confidence definitely changed (for the good) about it. The recovery wasn't painful at all, just alil discomfort that was expected. I can't to follow up and see the before pics and full recovery. I would totally recommend Dr. yoon for anybody looking into cosmetic surgery!! Dr. Yoo is amazing and his results are beautiful!! I had a portion of my nostril removed due to skin cancer and I was so scared I would have to live with a deformity and my nose would be a constant distraction. Dr. Yoo gave me such amazing results, people cannot tell I ever had a problem. I honestly, can't believe it! He is very detailed, precise and thorough in discussing my options. You no never feel rushed. The day of the surgery, he was the same way- professional, his confidence put me at ease and he has a great bedside manner. Not rushed to get me in and out. I never doubted I was in good hands. I trust Dr Yoo and would definitely recommend him.

My sixteen year old son while participating in his football game face planted on his chin as he recovered a fumble. The team physician recommended that we take him to Inland Valley Hospital emergency immediately and he has called ahead on our behalf. The intake emergency nurse informed us that we got the luck of the draw as Dr. Yoo was the on call plastic surgeon and he is the only five star rated plastic surgion she has ever reviewed and he is really good. Dr. Yoo did not disappoint!My career in football lasted twenty three years beginning in high school and ending professionally with the Rams in 1982. I can state that I never wittnessed a football player ever receiving a wound as gruesome as my son had.Whitnessing the forty or more stitiches my sons mouth received I can state with absolute certainty that Dr. Yoo's presence understaes his skill as a master artist in plasic surgery.

I just cannot express how happy I am with the results of my blepharoplasty (upper eye-lid surgery). I have been thinking about having this done for quite a bit and did some research on different plastic surgeons in the OC/LA area.I found Dr. Yoo and I was immediately impressed with his work and his personality. He is very caring, easy to talk to, and has impressive professional credentials. I booked my surgery right after my first consultation. Marisol, his assistant, was most helpful and made the whole process easy and efficient.The actual surgery was painless and quick, so was my recovery. Dr. Yoo followed up multiple times and was sincerely interested in providing the best possible experience and result. I will continue seeing Dr. Yoo for potential other non-surgical interventions, like Botox and fillers.If you are considering plastic surgery, I couldn't recommend another Doctor but Dr. Yoo. He is simply amazing!
